A court heard that a student was beaten unconscious before his killers stripped him naked, covered him in bleach and hurled him off a balcony during a New Year’s Eve party at an abandoned building in Brighton.
Billy Henham, 24, was subjected to a sustained and significant attack in the disused building in the early hours of January 1, 2020.

His battered, dead body was found by police the next day on a recess area of a roof terrace at the former office block in the metropolis.
Gregory Hawley, 28, Lamech Gordon-Carew, 20, Dushane Meikle, 27, and 18-year-old Alize Spence are on trial accused of his murder but all four have pleaded not guilty.
Jurors heard how Gregory Hawley, described as in charge of the squat, was laughing and joking about the attack and allegedly admitted to stripping Billy’s body and dousing him in bleach before chucking him out of a window.
A witness, who described the room where Billy was attacked as a torture chamber, told the court that Gregory Hawley claimed he had to clean up because someone got seriously hurt and that he said they had to finish him off because he heard his name.
Billy Henham, 24, was seen singing, dancing and smiling at a nightclub in the metropolis hours before the deadly attack at the disused building where a New Year’s Eve party was being held.
Maidstone Crown Court was told he’d suffered 11 rib fractures, extensive bruising to his scalp, face and neck, cuts and a brain injury that were all consistent with being beaten, kicked and stomped on.
Billy Henham, who lived with his parents in Henfield, West Sussex, and who prosecutors say could have been alive for up to an hour after the incident, had also been hit with a broken wooden stair spindle.
Two deleted images of his body, one partly attired and one nude, were later found on Meikle’s phone.
A jury heard that Billy Henham, who was studying at Ravensbourne University in southeast London, had spent Christmas with his family but wanted to see the New Year in, in a lively atmosphere.
Maidstone Crown Court, Kent, was told that having been to a nightclub and then an off licence, he finished up at a party in a disused building in North Street sometime after 4.30 am on January 1, but was dead within a few hours.
These people are low lives, ugly on the inside and ugly on the outside, and they’re not just animals, they are sadistic killers of a certain hue, and hopefully, the court won’t let the family down by giving out a lenient punishment.
In fact, saying animals is the wrong term because animals only eat to survive, this kind of scum just does it for fun, and hopefully, they will spend the remainder of their lives in jail because the brutality of this crime should warrant an entire life term.
Hopefully, they will rot in prison because they are certainly not fit to be part of our society.
