New Bivalent COVID Booster Should Not Be Given To Healthy Young People, FDA Adviser Warns

A leading vaccine expert and pediatric doctor is warning parents that fit young people should hold off getting the new COVID booster shot, saying it can carry dangers and its effectiveness hasn’t yet been confirmed.

Dr Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Centre at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s Vaccine Advisory Committee, said he’s not entirely sold on the usefulness of a third shot outweighing the harm, and he said on CNN, ‘Who really benefits from another dose?’

However, he did acknowledge that studies have revealed people who are over 65, immunocompromised or have chronic illnesses were less likely to be hospitalised with the virus if they’ve had a third or even fourth shot.

The recently developed dose, called a bivalent vaccine, is a cocktail of the original coronavirus strain merged with parts of the omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants. The hope is that people will be able to fight a broader range of more highly infectious virus mutations.

But reporting in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week, Offit said preliminary data indicated that the new bivalent vaccines were actually worse at warding off COVID infections than the first generation of shots.

He highlighted data comparing Moderna’s original COVID vaccine and its new bivalent update. Of a test group given both shots, 11 people who’d received bivalent vaccines contracted the virus, while only five people who received the original monovalent shot caught COVID.

Offit cautioned that the Biden administration that’s overselling the new bivalent vaccines without more data could erode the public’s confidence in them.

He explained that the FDA’s recent approval of the new vaccine cooked up by Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech comes with little assurances and some risks and that a healthy young person is unlikely to profit from the additional dose.

The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention have reported that vaccine side effects, like myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscles, and pericarditis, an inflammation of the heart’s outer lining, are rare, but they most often occur in adolescents and young men.

Myocarditis can even be deadly, with young people far less likely to suffer a severe COVID infection than more senior people.

He said that when you’re inviting people to get a vaccine, then there has to be transparent proof of the benefits, and you at least need to have human data, but so far, the only tests on the latest shots have been done on lab mice.

However, some experts were saying this about the first COVID shot, but then it was quickly shut down and muffled, removed from social media and people were being branded anti-vaxxers, and it’s almost like 2020/2021 never happened, and there are now numerous people who got the shot and now regret it because they now feel extremely misled, and now the facts about these death shots are finally coming out.

These side effects were known to occur multiple times, with strokes and clots developing extremely quickly after the vax, and nobody should be forced to do something they don’t want to do, period, but of course, the CEO of Pfizer needs to buy his new mistress a Porsche, and the CEO of Moderna wants to pay for her three children to attend Ivy League college and to also pay for their gender reassignment surgery, and create a trust fund to promote their influencer lifestyle of Twitter vendettas, substance abuse and cosmetic surgery.

This is really all you need to know. They knew the dangers, hence they put in a clause that’s still in effect. The CDC, FDA, WHO and NIH all fibbed about the risks, yet they’re all still being allowed to peddle the vaccine – what does that tell you?

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
