Lisa Marie Presley, Daughter Of Elvis Presley, Dies At 54

Lisa Marie Presley has died at the age of 54, hours after she suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.

According to TMZ, she’d been rushed to a hospital in critical condition and was said to be in a coma following a full cardiac arrest soon after complaining about stomach pains.

Her mother Priscilla, who was at her daughter’s side, said in a statement that it was with a heavy heart that she must share the devastating news that her beautiful daughter Lisa Marie had left them.

The statement continued that she was the most passionate, strong and loving woman she had ever known and that they ask for privacy as they try to deal with this deep loss, and thanked everyone for their love and prayers, but at this time there would be no additional comment.

Lisa Marie Presley’s death comes just two days after she was pictured with her mother at the Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hills Hilton where Austin Butler won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of her father in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.

The star’s life was turbulent with five stints in recovery for cocaine and opioid abuse, four failed marriages, losing her son to suicide and a vicious custody battle over her twin girls with an ex-husband she accused of having child pornography.

Sources told TMZ that Lisa Marie Presley was discovered unresponsive in her bedroom by her housekeeper and that her ex-husband, Danny Keough, who she’d been living with, performed CPR until paramedics arrived at the house.

The source added that someone administered epinephrine, more commonly known as adrenaline, at the scene at least one time in order to help Lisa Marie regain a pulse.

According to the Mayo Clinic, stomach pain is a sign of cardiac arrest in females.

Epinephrine, or adrenaline, is administered to treat many life-threatening conditions such as cardiac arrests, asthma attacks and allergic reactions.

LA County Sheriff’s Department told a newspaper outlet that deputies from Lost Hills Station responded to an assistance request call from LA County Fire, near the 9500 block of Normandy Drive in Calabasas about a female adult, around 55, for a medical emergency/female not breathing.

They said a female adult was transported by LA County Fire Department to a local area hospital where they were released to the hospital’s care.

Losing her son must have broken her heart, and she always looked so sad, but then she did have her father’s eyes which always made her look slightly melancholy, even a little high at times, but she did have the most stunning eyes. However, this is very heartbreaking and tragic.

She looked extremely depressed and didn’t look healthy at the Golden Globe Awards. She also looked very pale, but then she lived her whole life with terrible loss, first her father and then a son, which is more than anyone could bear.

Lisa Marie Presley never actually had a life of her own, she was always Elvis Presley’s daughter and she never really had a chance to be her own person, and her poor mother, it’s not right for a parent to have to bury their child or their grandchild for that matter.

But at least mother and daughter had one last glamorous night together with Elvis front and centre, and Lisa Marie enjoyed a night filled with love.

Her father lovingly doted on her and wanted her to have everything, but instead, her life was sad and heartbreaking.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
