Disgraced sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has declared she’s no recollection of Prince Andrew and Virginia Guiffre meeting, and that the notorious image of them together was manufactured.
In an exclusive preview obtained by a newspaper outlet of her first publicised interview since being in jail, Ghislaine Maxwell, 61, has insisted that she’s no memory of the pair spending time together in the United Kingdom or the US.

The scandalous picture of the pair, which was reportedly taken in March 2001 at Ghislaine Maxwell’s apartment, was given by Ms Guiffre to a newspaper outlet in February 2011.
Ms Guiffre, formerly Roberts, claimed she was forced to have sex with the Prince when she was 17, having been trafficked by convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who in 2019 was discovered dead in his jail cell.

In the revelatory interview, which will be aired on Jeremy Kyle’s TalkTV show, Ghislaine Maxwell said that she had no recollection of them meeting and that she didn’t believe the image was genuine.
She said that it was a fake and she didn’t think it was real for a second and that in fact, she was certain of it and that there had never been an original, there was no photograph, and she added that there was no original of the photo, just copies of copies and parts of it, and that according to some professionals, it looked like it had been photoshopped, and that she didn’t recall her being in her home.

Announcing the show, dubbed ‘Ghislaine Behind Bars’, Jeremy Kyle told spectators ‘Maxwell lifts the lid on Epstein, Prince Andrew and even our late Queen. This is Ghislaine Maxwell behind bars and in her own words.’
The interview comes as Prince Andrew is to launch a theatrical bid to overturn the multi-million-pound settlement he struck with M Guiffre in an attempt to get her to recant her sexual assault allegations and perhaps secure an apology.
The Duke of York has taken action after Ms Guiffre dropped her case against Epstein’s ex-lawyer Alan Dershowitz last year, who she also accused of sexual aggression.
She said she may have made a mistake in identifying him.
Ghislaine Maxwell, who’s serving a 20-year punishment for procuring girls for her late lover and sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, said it was quite possible that Andrew met Virginia as she travelled with Epstein.
However, this woman is a confirmed criminal blameworthy of awful offences, so does her word mean anything? Or perhaps she was the scapegoat and ended up carrying the greatest cost of those crimes. Had Jeffrey Epstein still been alive, perhaps she wouldn’t have received such a lengthy sentence or been pursued in the way that she was?
I don’t suppose we will ever know the truth of what went on, it’s all conjecture, but if Prince Andrew is innocent then I hope he’s able to clear his name, although faecal matter always sticks, and there’s nothing worse than being blamed of something you haven’t done.
Even if he does clear his name that stigma will consistently remain with everyone, but at least he’ll be able to hold his head up high, knowing that he never did anything bad. Unfortunately, his reputation will be ruined permanently.
As for the image, there appears to be no original and no way of verifying whether it was genuine or not.
Unfortunately, pictures and even videos can be digitally altered these days so their value is extremely limited, especially if you don’t have the original so that it can be examined, if not, then there will always be a question mark.
