On Average, The Police Fail To Respond To 120 Break-Ins A Day

Figures indicate that the police failed to turn up to more than 45,000 burglaries last year, the equivalent of 120 a day.

A total of 45,233 crimes reported to 19 forces in England and Wales saw no officer visit the scene.

The actual figure will be far higher because 14 others declined to answer a Freedom of Infomation request submitted by the Liberal Democrats.

Victims suffer a stark postcode lottery, with half of all burglary reports going unattended in some regions of the country.

The most alarming was in Bedfordshire, with officers failing to visit the scene of 61 per cent of reports of the crime, followed by Northumbria with 59 per cent, and three-quarters of burglaries reported to the 19 forces last year were closed without a suspect being identified.

Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey called for a guarantee that all victims are visited by police and cases are properly investigated.

He said that no family should be denied justice after suffering the distress and trauma of being burgled.

A government spokesman said that the Home Secretary made clear to police chiefs that forces must attend all domestic burglaries.

However, if someone sends a nasty tweet, they’ll be around in minutes, with three squad cars with lights flashing and sirens blaring.

There once was law and order from our police force. Now, all we have is the laughing policeman who would now rather chase after somebody who said something on Twitter or Facebook because more than ever we live in a woke society that knows no better, and God forbid you misgender someone you’ll be arrested, sacked or even potentially jailed by the woke police. So, where does the hard-earned tax that we pay go?

The way that the world is going, pretty soon murder will be considered a civil matter because it appears that the police have more important fish to fry. Investigating non-crimes, hurty words on the internet, learning new dance steps, face painting et cetera.

Now, UK police are complicit in these crimes because their deliberate neglect is facilitating criminal activity.

If you have your phone stolen and it’s tracked to a house, you pretty much have to report it online, where it will pretty much instantly come back that they looked at the case and there was no further action, yet the one person who robbed your phone is likely responsible for numerous crimes, yet the police weren’t interested because they were probably more interested in playing Candy Crush Saga on their phones.

Perhaps it’s time for communities to form their own police forces to keep our neighbourhoods safe because it seems that we’re paying a proportion of Council Tax for nothing, but then this is broken Tory Britain! And the problem is that our priorities are not PC Plod’s priorities.

The police should be able to solve the majority of burglaries with all the CCTV around but appear to be too lazy or unwilling to use this technology and ask the government why they’re not financing the police to allow them to do their job and attend.

In the future, vigilantes will be the only option available to the common person, but then that will be the perfect excuse to bring in draconian rules for all, and at the moment they’re playing the long game.

So, where is all our hard-earned cash going? Council Tax for police funding has been increased steadily and we appear to be paying the highest amount of taxes in the whole of Europe, and the per head of population police budgeting is immense, so just where is all our money going?

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
