Katie Price Considers Legal Action

Katie Price is contemplating taking legal action after two Metropolitan Police officers were discharged from the force for trading horrible, discriminating and abusive messages about her disabled son Harvey.

The model, 44, has said she’s not going to let it drop and was considering her options of claims over discrimination and defamation.

Harvey, 20, has autism and is partially sighted, as well as having Prader-Willi syndrome which affects his physical and behavioural development.

The two serving officers and six former colleagues were found guilty of gross misconduct over racist, homophobic and sexist messages they shared between May 2016 and June 2018 in a Whatsapp group called ‘Secret Squirrel S**t’. Some of those related to Katie Price’s son.

PC Glynn Rees and PC Dave Selway were sacked after a disciplinary hearing at Palestra House in Southwark, central London, following a six-day hearing.

Speaking to a newspaper outlet, the model said that the sackings weren’t really a punishment for the officers involved, and she said that she was disappointed that others resigned and that it was a cheap way out.

She continued that those officers mocked her son’s disability, race and size and that it doesn’t matter if you’re in the public eyes, no one deserves that.

She said that she’s got five kids and they picked on him, why because he’s different?

She also questioned why photos of the officers weren’t released by the police to the public.

The news comes after Katie Price admitted she was over the moon at the decision that the eight officers had been charged with misconduct over the warped Whatsapp group.

The 44-year-old model told Channel 5 News’ Dan Walker that it was about time justice had been done.

When asked by Katie how it made him feel when people were horrible to him, Harvey said angry and sad.

Commander Jon Savell, the Met’s professionalism and standards chief, said he was repulsed and ashamed to read the deeply offensive messages sent by these officers and he utterly condemned their behaviour, and that he was deeply sorry to those who had been the subject of such awful disgusting messages.

He said this was another painful day for them, and that they know there are more uncomfortable days to come as they turn over the stones and uncover others who corrupt their integrity.

Among those involved was the team leading officer, Police Sergeant Luke Allen, PS Luke Thomas and his team members, PC Kelsey Buchan, PC Carlo Francisco, PC Lee South and PC Darren Jenner, PC Rees and Selway.

It’s evident from their appalling mindset that they can’t be trusted with any contact with the public.

What they did was awful and one shouldn’t be discussing any form of abuse whether it be in private or out in the open and they shouldn’t be exempt from any laws in the land.

Any abuser can now say it was a private conversation and get away with it. This seems to be the new get-out-of-jail-free card for any abuser.

However, if Katie Price is awarded any payment or damages for Harvey, all funds should be held in an account for him by the said court, not given to her to pay her debts, otherwise this would look like that she’s exploited her son Harvey for money and publicity.

What these policemen did was extremely wrong, but they’ve had their day in court, lost their jobs et cetera and that’s their punishment from the Met, and they will never work in a position of trust again.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
