Carla Ferrigno Files For Divorce From Hulk Star Lou Ferrigno

A newspaper outlet has exclusively revealed that the wife of the ‘Incredible Hulk’ star Lou Ferrigno has filed for divorce, accusing him of flaunting a mistress, and trapping her in an abusive and controlling marriage after she was diagnosed with dementia.

Lou Ferrigno’s wife Carla, 74, made the alarming claims in recent court filings in San Luis Obispo County, California, as she opposed his endeavour to establish a court-ordered conservatorship to control her affairs.

It comes after Lou Ferrigno, 71, argued in court that Carla has ‘advanced dementia’ and accused their own daughter, 42-year-old Shanna of ‘elder abuse’ for attempting to drive Carla to the bank to withdraw $500,000.

In response, Carla now accuses Lou Ferrigno, her husband of 43 years, of covertly cutting off her access to their collective finances, and of keeping her physically isolated to stop her from divorcing him.

In a signed statement, she also alleges that Lou has a brazen affair with a mistress called Lisa, ‘with whom he spends most of his time, travelling to his various appearances and flaunting in her face even when he’s at home’.

Carla said that while his affair may not be abuse, when she gets upset with him about her being around, he physically threatens her, by getting into her face and using his much larger size. He will remind everyone that he’s the Hulk, compared to her small size, to intimidate and manipulate her into submission.

She added, that while towering over her, he yells at her, claiming horrible things about her and making sure that she understands that she’s ruining his life and that he will not care for her.

Lou Ferrigno was a bodybuilding rival of Arnold Schwarzenegger before becoming an actor best known for The Hulk, and their competition was the subject of the 1977 documentary Pumping Iron.

Lous Ferrigno’s lawyer Vatche Zetjian responded in a statement to a newspaper outlet, saying that Lou’s priority remained with his wife’s welfare and that all of the Restraining Orders recently mentioned in the press had been suspended upon mutual agreement of the parties.

He said that Lou and Carla, through counsel, have agreed to mediate and Lou’s hope remains that they reach an amicable resolution. Lou requests privacy for all his family members at this time.

Although Carla confirms in the filings that she’s been diagnosed with dementia, both her doctor and lawyer say she’s always voiced her desire for a divorce for years and has the capacity to understand that decision.

‘Don’t make him angry – You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry’.

Sadly dementia generates suspicion and paranoia amongst other things. We don’t know how long she’s had dementia, but Carla has voiced for years that she’s wanted a divorce, and Lou Ferrigno doesn’t help himself by having a mistress.

The poor woman is already medically restrained by her dementia diagnosis, let’s not put the nail in her coffin just yet. Just because she has dementia doesn’t make her an intuitive liar or crazy person – let the woman speak.

If the woman is that demented how would she be able to file for a divorce, unless someone is doing it on her behalf, which means she would have had to have given them power of attorney?

Lou Ferrigno’s net wealth has been reported at approximately $12 million. It’s not like he’s short of a few dollars. He’s cheated on his wife, which in itself is emotional stress. She’s been his wife for a very very long time. Whether it was happy or not, she is the mother to their children. Now that she’s sick he should provide for her even if she doesn’t want to be with him any longer. If he was a man with any morals he would do that without even thinking about it.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
