Queen Camilla Says The King Is ‘Fine’

As Kate Middleton remains in the hospital following abdominal surgery, Queen Camilla confirmed today that King Charles III is “fine” in the hospital after receiving treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Camilla smiled and told onlookers that ‘he’s fine, thank you’ as she walked out of The London Clinic in Marylebone at about 3 pm this afternoon, six hours after arriving.

According to MailOnline, the 75-year-old monarch is ‘doing well’ following the completion of surgery. The duration of Charles’ hospital stay is unknown.

Before entering the premises for his medical care, the King, accompanied by Camilla, paid a visit to his daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, at around nine in the morning.

Charles underwent a corrective procedure today after being diagnosed with a benign condition, and he has postponed his engagements for a recuperation period.

He was dressed in a smart suit and tie and navy overcoat for his arrival at the London Clinic, while Camilla was wearing a royal blue coat and carrying a green handbag.

Some thought Camilla’s decision to accompany Charles was strange, as the late Queen and Prince Philip always visited hospitals alone.

Onlookers called out ‘we love you lots’ towards Camilla after she left her husband’s bedside. No further updates are expected from Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

Earlier, a Palace spokesman said just after 9.30 am today: ‘The King was this morning admitted to a London hospital for scheduled treatment. His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness.’

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has wished the King the ‘very best’ for his treatment and a ‘speedy recovery’ afterwards, a Downing Street spokeswoman told reporters.

According to the Court Circular, Charles met Professor Robert Miller, the director of the Whittle Laboratory, and Dame Polly Courtice, the emeritus director of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, yesterday at Sandringham.

Just a few minutes after departing Clarence House this morning, Charles was seen on camera arriving at the London Clinic. Yesterday, he had flown back by helicopter from the Sandringham estate in Norfolk to his London home.

The King had been resting at Sandringham since last Friday after flying back there with Camilla from Birkhall, his private home near Balmoral in Aberdeenshire.

It comes as the Princess of Wales remains at the London Clinic after her abdominal surgery. Kate is not expected to carry out official engagements until after Easter.

I bet the King doesn’t have a sneering consultant or junior doctor trying to discharge him to free up his bed. While in the real world, people are waiting years for the same procedure.

Regardless of financial status, everyone should have access to the same high-quality medical treatment.

Camilla is referred to as the Queen Consort, so therefore she will always be referred to as the Queen. The same as the Queen’s mother was also known as Queen Elizabeth or the Queen’s Mother. Of course, some out there don’t like Camilla and don’t see why she should be called a queen—myself included—but the fact is, she is, and there’s nothing we can do about it, even if we don’t like it.

A Queen, ‘Do me a favour! I’m here on the floor, laughing.

Charles, like his mother, had privileges but no real power, and our government will carry on doing what they’re doing with their disastrous policies while King Charles buries his head in the sand because he knows no better.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
