Cruel Hamas terrorists last night announced a British-born hostage being held in Gaza had been killed – less than three hours after publishing a video which appeared to show him alive.
In a sickening stunt, Hamas released the first video showing British-Israeli Nadav Popplewell, 51, visibly bruised and injured in his right eye, talking to the camera to give his name and age.
Unsettling music played in the background as the 11-second footage came to a close with a question mark appearing on the screen.
The terrorist group then released a second video three hours later, claiming that Nadav, who was born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, was injured in an IDF airstrike last month and later died from his wounds.
Independent confirmation of Nadav’s death and the manner of his murder has not been achieved.
But in the horrifying video cartoon blood slowly drips down the screen over Nadav’s face while a caption states: ‘military pressure, failure and death’.
Later, Al Qassam spokesperson Abu Obaida confirmed that Popplewell ‘died of wounds he sustained after Zionist fighter jets targeted his place of detention over a month ago’.
They say that 70-year-old Judy Feinstein was also murdered by the same attacks.
This is not the first time perverse Hamas fighters have teased the fate of the hostages in an attempt to torment their families.
In January Hamas released a propaganda video featuring Noa Argamani, 26, Yossi Sharabi, 51, and Itay Svirsky, 38, alongside the caption: ‘What do you think? All killed? Some killed, some injured? Still Alive. Tonight we will inform you of their fate.’
It eventually came to light that the other two guys had been killed, but Noa Argamani remained alive.
Hamas vowed to carry out captive executions in reaction to IDF bombings at the beginning of the war.
Israel does not comment on captive films because it views them all as psychological warfare and torture.
A spokesperson for The Hostages and Missing Families Forum – a group that represents the interests of the hostage families – said: ‘Every sign of life received from the hostages held by Hamas is another cry of distress to the Israeli government and its leaders.
‘We don’t have a moment to spare!
‘You must strive to implement a deal that will bring them all back today – the living to rehabilitation and the murdered to burial.’
The most recent video was released a few days after the Israeli Defence Forces began their military assault on Rafah, a city in southern Palestine that is presently home to almost a million Palestinians who were forced to evacuate their homes.
This is made abundantly evident by the fact that Europe is so deeply split and home to numerous hate organisations that it is becoming impossible to have a gathering intended to unite people from different countries in harmony. Despite their insistence to the contrary, hatred and intolerance have become the hallmarks of this generation.
And this is why governments around the world need to stop these protests because they’re just pandering to terrorists.
Hamas was never going to release the hostages because they’re not quite right in the head.
Hamas’s actions are completely inhumane, and eliminating them should not be met with any more remorse or consideration than eliminating a bug.
Those who back Hamas are despicable. Their hatred and evil have no boundaries, and it’s shocking how many people are condoning what these terrorists are doing.
If you are in favour of this psychological terrorism, you are not on the right side of history.
