While Stopping Traffic, Rioters Demand Drivers Reveal Their Ethnicity

Far-right mobs in Middlesbrough stopped people to ask them if they were ‘white and English’ before letting them through as vile riots continued to sweep the nation.

Unsettling video shows thugs standing at a crossroads and confronting drivers in cars as they tried to pass.

‘Are you English? Are you white?’ one could be heard shouting at a car trying to cross the intersection where hundreds marched with anti-immigration groups.

‘Yes, he is!’ someone else was heard shouting back.

Two cars narrowly avoided colliding as they sped away from the mob, prompting one of the agitators to whine he had ‘nearly been run over’ and calling out ‘Where’s your police?’

Rows of officers wielding riot shields were seen near the commotion as thugs circled on BMXs and continued stopping cars, standing in the middle of the road.

Cleveland Police said this afternoon they are continuing to deal with ‘disorder’ in Middlesbrough, claiming to have arrested nine people ‘relating to violent disorder offences’.

‘We are urging members of the public to stay away from Middlesbrough while officers respond to violent disorder in the town,’ Assistant Chief Constable David Felton said in a statement.

Police were only able to confirm that the violence in Middlesborough had ended in the early hours of Monday morning, adding that a police presence would remain throughout the night ‘and into tomorrow and the coming days’.

About the incidents, up to 43 persons have been arrested, and a thorough investigation is currently in progress.

The horrifying TikTok video of the ‘checkpoint’ on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough drew outcry as it was shared across social media.

‘This is a pretty concerning development. I thought we were supposed to be moving towards a more inclusive and equitable society, not regressing back to the days of segregation,’ one user wrote.

‘So utterly disappointed with this country and this disgusting behaviour,’ another said.

‘This is beyond sad… what is going on fgs,’ a third user added.

Over the weekend, there was an extremely unsettling outburst of violence in Middlesbrough as far-right groups set cars on fire and threw bricks.

An anti-immigration crowd was later observed screening drivers along Linthorpe Road, the route of which was designated for a purported protest.

Buses announced they would change their schedules to avoid the disorder.

Hooligans set fire to cars and wheelie bins and pushed towards police trying to restore order.

While police cordoned off surrounding streets, over 300 people gathered in front of a mosque on the town’s Waterloo Road to guard it.

One resident told the PA news agency: ‘We’re going to be paying for this, and for what?

‘This has got nothing to do with three little girls that have lost their lives. They’ve used it to cause utter mayhem on our streets.’

Following an altercation at the Swatters Carr bar, someone was observed being stretchered into an ambulance.

At one point, a group of people wearing hoods and face coverings forced police in riot gear to retreat.

No matter how many people the authorities lock up, the issue will not go away. The influence that immigration is having on our daily lives is a very serious issue that our government now needs to address.

People who were born in the UK have had enough of being last in line in a country that they were brought up in, and I can understand people’s frustrations.

The problem is that individuals born in the United Kingdom have always been extremely carefree. We tend to take things for granted, thinking that our government would resolve the issue, even when they have no desire to do so.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
