Two teenagers have been arrested after a couple of kittens ‘were tortured and killed’ in an ‘incredibly distressing’ attack.

The tiny cats are said to have been dismembered in the gruesome act, which took place on Ickenham Road in Ruislip, north west London, on Saturday, May 3.
The small animals are thought to have been brought to the scene in a duffel bag, carried by a young boy.
Two youngsters have been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and remain in custody.
It comes after the force released an urgent appeal to hunt down two teens after a member of the public claimed to have witnessed the terrible deed.
Police Sergeant Babs Rock previously said: ‘This is an incredibly distressing incident which I know has caused concern in the local community.’
Since then, a representative for the Met Police has expressed gratitude to the community for reporting the incident.
They said: ‘Met officers have carried out two arrests following the deaths of two kittens in Ruislip.
‘An appeal was published yesterday (Thursday, 15 May) in relation to the incident in Ickenham Road on Saturday, 3 May.
‘Following information provided to the Met, officers arrested two teenagers on Friday, 16 May, on suspicion of animal cruelty. They remain in custody.
‘We recognise the distress this incident has caused in the area and we thank the community for sharing information with us.’
As part of their investigation, police had made CCTV footage and a picture of a duffel bag they believed was used to transport the kittens public.
The teenagers were a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl who have now been arrested after the mutilated remains of two kittens were discovered in West London.
The force received a report on 3 May alleging two teenagers had dismembered the animals in Ruislip – their parents must be so proud.
If something is not done, these two youngsters will ultimately progress to vulnerable, defenceless human beings – they should be given the full scope of the law, and how did these youngsters get hold of the kittens in the first place?
