Meghan and Harry’s Bold Indifference For Royal Impartiality Rules

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want Joe Biden to become the next President of the United States, although they haven’t actually said that in so many words.

But it’s extremely evident from a video message they released via Time magazine which way they want the outcome of the election to go and it’s not in Donald Trump’s direction.

Meghan Markle, a US citizen and well known Trump hater and she’s called him divisive and a misogynist and once said that she loathed him.

She said that they’re only six weeks out from Election Day and that now it was National Voter Registration Day and that every four years we’re told the same thing, that it’s the most important election of their lifetime and that this is the one.

She added that when people vote, their values are put into motion and their voices are heard, and she said that your voice is a reminder that you matter, because you do, and you deserve to be heard.

Harry, of course, can’t vote in the United States, and like other royals, doesn’t have to vote in UK elections, encouraged Americans to vote and said that as they approach this November, that it’s important that people reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.

And he said that when the bad overshadows the good, for many, whether they realise it or not, it erodes their ability to have empathy and their ability to put themselves in someone else’s shoes.

And that when one person buys into negativity online, the consequences are felt exponentially and it’s time to not only reflect but to act, and although they never mentioned Biden’s name, it’s crystal clear whose side they’re on and it’s not the dude sitting in the White House tweeting malicious dishonest rhetoric 24/7.

By expressing themselves in such a brazenly partisan way, they’ve crossed a gigantic line which should now have severe consequences for the couple who specialise in wanting their royal cake and the freedom to eat it because the Royals don’t do politics, not publicly, anyhow.

It’s one of the cast-iron rules of being a member of the Royal Family, that you don’t spout off your own political views for public consumption because it would damage the integrity of the Monarchy – mind you, that was damaged many years ago, they just haven’t realised it yet!

On the Queen’s official website, it says: ‘As Head of State, The Queen has to remain strictly neutral with respect to political matters.’

This is because Her Majesty has to negotiate with Governments of all political persuasion, both at home and abroad, and must be seen to be scrupulously neutral to them all.

Harry, of course, didn’t have to say a thing, but he did, although he didn’t mention his political leaning or any names.

As for Meghan Markle, she’s still a US citizen and has the right to vote as well as speak up and Harry should be supporting her, that’s what marriage is all about, not bailing at the last moment because you have Royal blood coursing through your veins.

And of course, there will be lots of people out there with empty platitudes of hate speech, negative comments online, and if it was something meaningful, it would matter, but it does make me wonder how long before Harry will disappear like his mother – poof, now you see him, now you don’t.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
