This is the shocking moment an Orthodox Jewish man was punched in the face by a passer-by in a racist attack and left unconscious, just hours after a child was attacked nearby.
Footage shows the 64-year-old victim being knocked to the ground while walking in broad daylight down a street in Stamford Hill, London, at 8.30 pm on Wednesday.
A separate video taken on the same evening is alleged to show a Jewish child being brutally punched in the face, less than an hour and a half before.
The unknown attacker appears to be clothed in white, wearing a headdress and a greenish-brown coat in both clips, which are being investigated by the police.
Neighbourhood watch group Shomrim claimed detectives are linking a series of horrific unprovoked attacks in the area on Wednesday night, but no arrests have been made so far concerning the attack on the 64-year-old man.
In the video taken at 8.30 pm, the man’s head can be seen being slammed into a nearby wall due to the force of the blow.
Shomrim said the man was left unconscious following the attack and taken to hospital with head traumas.
The group tweeted on Friday that the footage was of a shocking and vile racist crime and that the unconscious victim was rushed to hospital with a broken foot/ankle and nasty head injuries, and @MPSHackney specialist hate crime officers are keen to speak to this male.
In the meantime, dashcam footage taken at 7.10 pm appears to show a similar-looking assailant hitting a boy on a bicycle, and as the vehicle pulls into a side street, he’s seen at a closer angle and appears to be carrying a bottle in his right hand.
Shomrim posted on its verified Stamford Hill account that racist attacker strikes again and that a Jewish child was brutally struck in the face on the 18th of August at 7.10 pm, and that detectives were linking a list of horrific unprovoked attacks.
A spokesperson for the force told a newspaper outlet that on Friday, 20 August, police got a third party report of an attack that happened on Stamford Hill at about 20.30 hours on Wednesday, 18 August, and that police had spoken with the 64-year-old victim and enquiries remained ongoing and that no arrests had been made.
Judging by how the attacker was dressed, there was nothing alleged about the attack, and you could clearly see who the aggressor was, but I fear that telling on who his assailant was, he probably won’t be the last to suffer.
It was all there for everyone to see who the abuser was, but it was never mentioned.
The victim was reported as an Orthodox Jewish man, but the offender was just a passerby, and I’m guessing that we should expect more of this.
This is political correctness gone mad – and the assailant is —— you can fill in the blanks.
This man’s description wasn’t quite as detailed as it should have been, and there have been some disturbing attacks on people going about their everyday life, but there’s more of this to come, and we should be calling it out for what it is.
There’s no value on human life to the animals that wander the streets now, and we all live in a hate state where it’s a chore to be kind, and once again we can see who the aggressor was, but nothing will be done about it as they appear untouchable.
