Couple ‘Sleeping Rough In Brighton Park’ With Toddler

Police are increasingly concerned for a couple and a toddler who are thought to be sleeping outside in the cold around the Brighton vicinity.

A bystander reported seeing a teenage girl sleeping in Queens Park, Brighton on December 6th, with a young male in his late teens or early 20s and a toddler aged about 18 months old.

A grey and white tent and a travel cot thought to belong to them were left in Queens Park, leading to concerns that they were now without any shelter.

The police have said that they’re excessively keen to locate them so that their welfare can be checked and that they can be given the proper care and support.

Detective Superintendent Kris Ottery said that receiving a report of concern for welfare from a member of the public, they’ve dedicated teams of officers working to identify the people and trace them so that they can make sure they’re safe and well.

It was said that the female is petite or slim, about 5 foot tall with blonde hair which is messy in style and blue eyes, and that she speaks with a northern accent.

The male is described as slim and at least 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and a scarf-type covering over the lower part of his face.

The toddler is thought to be a boy with fair skin, blonde hair, and rosy cheeks, and was last seen wearing a thick red snowsuit and black or dark blue Wellington boots.

The group are also thought to have a pushchair that’s overladen with bags.

Specially trained officers have been scouring the park and other places of interest, with the help of drones and the National Police Air Service helicopter, conducting house-to-house enquiries, liaising with local transport networks and carrying out CCTV trawls in the area.

They have released pictures of the tent and cot and have appealed to any members of the public who may have seen those items in the area in the past couple of weeks, and that if anybody recognises the items or the descriptions provided, then they should then contact the police.

Hopefully, they will be located safe and they will be given the support that they require.

However, tons of people are going to be homeless this Christmas and over the winter months. Some will be fortunate enough to endure the cold, but others will die in the cold and this Government should have a heart and give these people a roof over their heads rather than allowing boat people onto our shores.

All of our hotels are full of migrants, but I bet our homeless wouldn’t mind sleeping in a hotel. Why are our Government allowing migrants to take up our hotels when they could be giving shelter to our homeless, some of them ex-military soldiers, it’s appalling, while Rishi Sunak huddles in front of his fire toasting marshmallows.

It’s come to something when our Government are leaving people out in the cold. Adults might be able to tolerate this weather to a point, but babies. The poor child would be freezing and could even die, and I do hope that this story has a happy ending.

What will happen if they’re found is that the baby will be taken into social services custody and will be fostered out to other people. Don’t you dare do that to these people? This is their child, and instead of taking yet another child away, why doesn’t the Government do something about the dire situation that people are living in and give them a place to live?

There is plenty of land that could be acquired like golf courses and such, that could be used for temporary makeshift dwellings for the homeless, but of course, the Government wouldn’t do that because as far as they’re concerned these people are second-class citizens and don’t deserve a roof over their head, even their ex-military servicemen! Says it all when you fight for your country and then are tossed aside like a piece of garbage and Rishi Sunak should bow his head in shame!

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
