A healthy 28-year-old man who died after being wrongly given the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine was told to ‘count yourself lucky’ when he was given it.
Alex Reid, an operations controller from Leeds, ‘did not understand why’ he was invited to get the vaccination early in March 2021 as a man in his late 20s who was otherwise healthy.
But he was given the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine just weeks before the government warned that people under the age of 30 should be given an alternative jab because the AZ shot was linked with an increased risk of blood clots.
Sadly, he passed away after three months. He was unintentionally asked forward for the vaccination, according to a coroner’s inquiry, because his 2004 GP records, when he was just 11 years old, said that he had a BMI of 68.97.

Now, it has been revealed that Mr Reid was told to count himself lucky when he queried why he was being invited for an early vaccine.
His mother, Halina Reid, told the BBC: ‘Surely this one call from Alex should have raised alarm bells since most of the calls the surgery was getting were from people asking why they had not been called.
‘The person who took the call said she did not know, made no attempt to find out and just said, ‘count yourself lucky’.
She continued: ‘After Alex’s death, we knew something was not right – it has taken two years and five months to get answers.’

Coroner Oliver Longstaff has recommended adding ‘validation rules’ to GP record-keeping systems to stop ‘obviously erroneous’ information from being filed.
The mistake occurred when a clinician entered Mr Reid’s height as 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches) at the age of 11. Then, he entered his weight as 145 kg (319 lbs).
According to the coroner, had Mr Reid’s BMI been accurately documented, he would not have been recommended for early vaccination and would not have been approved for the vaccine before its risk implications for those under 30 years old were established.
He wrote: ‘When Alex was invited to receive his vaccination early, he did not understand why, and no one was able to tell him.

‘If the obviously erroneous BMI had not been recorded or had been challenged at the point of entry by the relevant IT system, Alex… would not have died when he did.’
The inquest heard that designing a system to flag such errors in BMI ‘would not have been feasible’ at the time of the pandemic.
The coroner has, nonetheless, issued a challenge to healthcare IT firms, asking them to update their software going forward to include checks for glaring mistakes.
Since there is no other means to calculate extra fatalities, they must examine the excess deaths that have occurred since the introduction of the jabs.
Since the start, our government has been manipulating the numbers. Shifting the decimal point and losing the data, or all of the above, or forgetting how to add up.
Proving which vaccine was responsible for any injuries or deaths will prove impossible since they allowed the mixing of AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna jabs and I’m not entirely certain that it might have been intentional.
England had the highest levels of excess deaths in Europe in the first half of 2020, the ONS said. What the ONS forgot to mention was that England had more time than Italy and even Spain, which were hit earlier and much stronger.
The UK was better positioned to contain the virus than continental Europe since it is an island. The true scandal is that despite this advantage and even though they had more time, excess fatalities were the greatest in Europe. That is the epitome of disastrous failure. However, I’m sure the English press will come up with a million inventive ways to downplay it.
Nothing that we ingest is safe, including the COVID vaccination and other drugs that are dished out to us, so if nothing is 100 percent safe, and they’re willing to cover it all up, just imagine what else they’re not telling us.
We must awaken. They paid exactly no attention to the science. It’s horrible that they counted their money, lied about everything, and injected this garbage into people—just as they do with lab rats and monkeys.
