Donald Trump Was Shot By A Sharpshooter On A Rooftop

In a horrifying attack, a would-be assassin shot Donald Trump on stage at a rally, leaving him bleeding from his ear.

Shortly after the former president stood up to speak on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, a flurry of rifle shots broke out.

Trump grabbed the side of his head and ducked as bullets whizzed by and screams from terrified onlookers rang out.

Secret Service agents could be heard shouting ‘the shooter is down’ in the ensuing chaos and the gunman was later confirmed dead.

During the attempted assassination, at least one Trump fan was slain and two others suffered serious injuries from errant shots.

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger said he was told by detectives that the gunman, named as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was on the roof of a building adjacent to the event, and the shooting ‘would have required a rifle’ as it ‘was several hundred yards’ away.

The deceased bystander’s identity is still unknown. At the site, an AR-style rifle was found.

Trump was filmed repeatedly pumping his fist while Secret Service officials encircled him, blood streaming down his face in an image that has already gone viral.

Shortly after, he was whisked off to safety. More information regarding the former president’s health will be provided soon, according to Trump’s team.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump said his thoughts are with the family of the rally attendee who was killed, as he said he was ‘shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear.’

‘I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening,’ he said.

‘I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.

‘Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.

‘GOD BLESS AMERICA!’

A witness told the BBC that agents ‘blew the (shooter’s) head off.’

After a few seconds of gunfire, many Secret Service operatives quickly placed Trump on the ground to keep him safe.

Onlookers said ‘residual bangs’ were heard after Trump hit the floor.

I don’t particularly like Donald Trump, but the man has had nonstop hatred towards him for a long time, and this is what happens when people hate for so long. I must admit I do admire his courage and stamina for how long he has kept going in the face of so much adversity.

Though hate is a strong word, fear is undoubtedly lurking behind hate, Donald Trump is the one accountable for the divide and animosity that exist in the US today.

Sadly, this individual spews poison on everything that doesn’t suit him and propagates hatred.

Politicians hate him because they can’t control him. Democrats and Libs are offended because their feelings get hurt. Common sense has left the building, and he has and will continue to drain the swamp.

It’s unclear if Donald Trump is a narcissist, but he acts like one. He thrives on attention, so if he receives it, he will take advantage of it. He will act negatively in response to not receiving the attention, then indulge in the animosity.

Donald Trump started his campaign with hatred and has continued with it ever since. His hands are not clean, considering the staggering amount of violence committed in his name.

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
