DOGE Downfall Blamed On Elon Musk’s Drug Habit

Elon Musk was using a cocktail of drugs on the campaign trail as his messy personal life spilled over into his work, according to a report from the New York Times.

Musk stormed into politics as President Donald Trump’s chainsaw-brandishing sidekick tasked with slashing the federal bureaucracy, but the tech tycoon has found himself on the chopping block just four months into his stint in government.

But insiders allege Musk, 53, was taking the powerful anaesthetic, which is known to have hallucinogenic properties, so frequently that it was affecting his bladder, the bombshell report claims.

He also took ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms and travelled with a daily pill box that contained about 20 different drugs, including Adderall, sources allege.

Those around him claim that his consumption blurred the lines between medicinal and recreational, with Musk allegedly having taken drugs at private gatherings across the US and in at least one foreign country, according to the NYT report which was based on a series of texts the outlet reviewed, as well as interviews with insiders.

Musk has claimed in interviews that he only takes ‘a small amount’ of ketamine and that ‘I really don’t like doing illegal drugs’, but his erratic behaviours, including making an apparent Nazi salute at Trump’s election day event, seemingly suggest otherwise.

It is unclear if Musk was taking drugs when Trump put him in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which he announced he was stepping down from on Wednesday.

Representatives for Musk and the White House were approached by Daily Mail for comment, but they did not immediately respond.

Musk’s aerospace firm SpaceX, which is a large government contractor, requires its workforce to be drug-free and randomly administers drug testing.

The tech billionaire, however, would receive ‘advance warning’ of those tests, insiders with knowledge of the testing process told the newspaper.

It is unclear if Musk was compelled to undergo drug testing by the White House, but Trump’s top aide Stephen Miller told CNN on Friday ‘I don’t have any concerns’ about the NYT’s explosive report.

Miller, noting that Trump would be hosting a joint press conference with Musk later in the day, said: ‘All I can say is that DOGE has done an extraordinary job rooting out systemic waste, graft, graft and corruption from the federal government.

‘And you’re going to hear from the president today his thanks to Elon Musk for leading that effort to save taxpayers billions of dollars.’

Miller was pressed again about the report after he arrived at the White House.

‘Are you concerned about drug use by Elon Musk?,’ a reporter asked, but Miller doubled down, saying: ‘The drugs that we’re concerned about are the drugs running across the southern border.’

In addition to his apparent drug habit, Musk’s time at DOGE was entangled with private legal battles involving his ex-partners and children.

Claire Boucher, known professionally as Grimes, is understood to be clashing with Musk over his general flaunting of their five-year-old son X, which she alleges violates the pair’s custody agreement.

He also was accused of fathering a secret 14th child with conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair. Musk has allegedly denied paternity of the child.

Musk has expressed increasing disenchantment with DOGE’s challenges in recent weeks, despite the agency’s ruthless cuts across US bureaucracy.

He leaves far short of his original goal of saving $2 trillion dollars, with calculations indicating he saved just one thousandth of that, despite tens of thousands of people losing their jobs.

Musk will now concentrate on his Space X and Tesla businesses, as well as his dream of inhabiting Mars.

Trump called Musk ‘terrific’ as he declared that they would hold a joint press conference on Friday as the SpaceX founder leaves DOGE.

‘This will be his last day, but not really, because he will, always, be with us, helping all the way,’ Trump said on his Truth Social network on Thursday.

Musk has publicly vented his anger at his contentious role in cost-cutting in recent weeks, despite the kind remarks.

Musk was the biggest contributor to Trump’s 2024 election campaign and the pair bonded over conservative politics and a desire to root out what they thought was a wasteful ‘deep state’.

He soon rose to prominence as Trump’s “First Buddy” and was always by his side.

The tycoon appeared with his young son X on his shoulders during his first press conference in the Oval Office. He attended cabinet meetings.

He and Trump rode on Air Force One and Marine One together and they watched UFC fights together.

However, the computer billionaire was known for acting irrationally. At a conservative rally, he did what looked like a Nazi salute while brandishing a chainsaw and bragging about how simple it was to save money.

But Trump himself stayed publicly devoted to the man he dubbed a ‘genius.’

The president even turned the White House into a pop-up Tesla dealership after protesters targeted Musk’s electric car business. However, Musk found it difficult to understand the political landscape.

He is understood to have insulted cabinet members during meetings and would routinely get into ‘fights’ with his opponents, according to the report.

The impact on Musk’s businesses also started to strike home with a string of Space X launches that ended in fiery failures and Tesla shares falling drastically.

Musk began musing about stepping back earlier this year saying that, ‘DOGE is a way of life, like Buddhism’ that would carry on without him.

He ultimately showed the first signs of distance from Trump himself this week, saying he was ‘disappointed’ in Trump’s recent mega-spending bill. Musk also said he would pull back from spending time on politics.

The end came in a post by Musk on Wednesday on the X network, which he bought and then turned into a MAGA campaign platform.

‘As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,’ Musk tweeted.

‘The @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.’

Ketamine has drawn more attention in recent decades due to its potential to aid in the recovery of those suffering from severe mental health issues such as PTSD and depression that is resistant to therapy. Ketamine, a dissociative anaesthetic and hallucinogenic substance with a contentious presence in mental healthcare, was first used as a veterinary painkiller before becoming a street drug.

Its dissociation qualities are crucial; the intention is to momentarily distance oneself from distressing memories and melancholy thoughts while creating new neural connections that may have long-lasting beneficial impacts on the patient’s brain.

The FDA approved the first ketamine-derived medication, Spravato (esketamine), as a Schedule III controlled substance for treatment-resistant depression in 2019 after nearly 20 years of clinical research that delivered mixed and complex results.

It is evident in videos that Elon Musk is on some hallucinogenic drug by way of his behaviour. However, what he does behind closed doors is up to him, who are we to judge? But why oh why are such talented people so consumed with drugs – they have it all but then lose their lives to these drugs, it’s all extremely sad.

Of course, most people have some kind of vice, so people drink, some people eat, some do drugs et cetera – there isn’t a perfect person out there!

I must admit Elon Musk could I suppose come across as being a pretty disturbing person, however, he is the richest person in the world, so he must be doing something right!

Who cares if this man does Ketamine or any other drug for that matter? It’s his life, not yours. If he uses it as a coping mechanism, that’s up to him – he’s rich and you’re not, and he’s incredibly smart.

Intellectual handicaps and autism spectrum condition are often associated. However, learning difficulties are not always experienced by people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), even if they may have communication and social skills issues.

Many are high-functioning and use their distinct viewpoint to accomplish amazing feats, and there have been a lot of well-known people with autism throughout history, and a savant is a person with a developmental disability who is gifted in one certain area such as mathematics, music or art, and about half of all savants are diagnosed with autism – these people are known as autistic savants.

Elon was asked if he did a lot of Ketamine – he was a tad reticent on that one, but I could see that look in his eye – this dude likes to mess with the media’s minds. He was asked the question, but deep down he’s laughing at the media and loving it because everyone loves a bit of gossip!

My vision on life is pretty broad, therefore I like to address specific subjects that intrigue me. Therefore I really appreciate the world of politics, though I have no actual views on who I will vote for, that I will not tell you, so please do not ask! I am like an observation station when it comes to writing, and I simply take the news and make it my own. I have no expectations, I simply love to write, and I know this seems really odd, but I don't get paid for it, I really like what I do and since I am never under any pressure, I constantly find that I write much better, rather than being blanketed under masses of paperwork and articles that I am on a deadline to complete. The chances are, that whilst all other journalists are out there, ripping their hair out, attempting to get their articles completed, I'm simply rambling along at my convenience creating my perfect piece. I guess it must look pretty unpleasant to some of you that I work for nothing, perhaps even brutal. Perhaps I have an obvious disregard for authority, I have no idea, but I would sooner be working for myself, than under somebody else, excuse the pun! Small I maybe, but substantial I will become, eventually. My desk is the most chaotic mess, though surprisingly I know where everything is, and I think that I would be quite unsuited for a desk job. My views on matters vary and I am extremely open-minded to the stuff that I write about, but what I write about is the truth and getting it out there, because the people must be acquainted. Though I am quite entertained by what goes on in the world. My spotlight is mostly to do with politics, though I do write other material as well, but it's essentially politics that I am involved in, and I tend to concentrate my attention on that, however, information is essential. If you have information the possibilities are endless because you are only limited by your own imagination...
