Fees Rise 13 Percent A Year Amid Fears Pet Owners Are Ripped Off 

Britain’s £2 billion veterinary industry is being examined by the competition watchdog amid concerns that pet owners are not getting value for money and that the cost of care has skyrocketed faster than inflation.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is launching a review of the sector, looking at consumer experiences and vet business practices for household pets in the United Kingdom.

It’s worried that pet owners are not given easy access to information about pricing and treatment choices when deciding which vet to use and which services to buy.

The regulator added that figures indicate that vet costs have also surged at a more rapid rate than wider inflation.

With numerous independent vet practices being snapped up by larger chains in recent years, it’s worried that pet owners may not be aware their vet is part of a group which owns others in their area, and possibly of services being sold to them, such as diagnostic tests or treatments at a specialist animal hospital.

According to the CMA, this could impact pet owners’ choices and reduce the incentives for local vet practices to compete.

Sarah Cardell, chief executive of the CMA, said that caring for an ill pet can create real financial pressure, particularly alongside other cost of living concerns.

She said that it was really important that people get clear information and pricing to help them make the right choices.

She added that there’s been a lot of consolidation in the vet industry in recent years, so now is the right time to take a look at how the market is working.

The CMA said the number of independent vet practices had fallen sharply in recent years, with those accounting for 89 per cent of the UK veterinary industry in 2013, but only around 45 per cent by 2021.

It’s calling for pet owners and vet practitioners, including surgeons, nurses, practice managers and vet businesses, to give their views via the CMA’s website, at gov.uk/vets-market-review.

Ms Cardell said that when a pet is unwell they often need urgent treatment, which means that pet owners may not shop around for the best deal like they do with other services. This means they may not have the relevant information to make informed decisions at what can be a distressing time.

She added that they want to hear from pet owners and people who work in the sector about their experiences.

The thing is, these businesses have been at it for years, and insurance hasn’t helped either because insurance companies have gotten greedy.

The smell of money is irresistible, and anyone for believes they’re working in the interest of the animals is sadly mistaken. Unfortunately, the vets who run these practices charge obscene amounts of money.

Inflation increases and everyone gets on the bandwagon up and down the country. Evidently, animals don’t matter, as it appears human beings don’t matter either. If you can’t afford it, then starve, if you’re ill, then don’t worry about it, just die. It’s a dog-eat-dog world (pardon the pun) and everyone is out for themselves. As long as I’m okay Jack, who cares!

In effect, it’s just blackmail and they have us over a barrel, and greed preys on everyone, and then we have no choice but to pay these exorbitant prices, and it’s not short of a cartel, and big companies and Government are controlling you, right in front of your eyes – at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

I suppose some people will say that if you can’t afford an animal, then don’t get one. As they say, if you can’t have a child, don’t have one – hell, let’s get rid of the whole human population while we’re at it!

A Car Involved In A Crash Was Fined £60 For Parking On Double Yellow Lines

Traffic wardens really did reach a new low as they slapped a £60 parking penalty on a car which had been involved in a collision.

The car, seen with its windscreen smashed, was given a fine because it was stopped on double yellow lines in Manchester city centre on Tuesday.

A yellow fixed penalty notice (FPN) can be spotted tucked behind a windscreen wiper, while a warden seems to be arguing with a woman nearby.

Only a few feet away from them stands a policeman who attempts to slow traffic.

The incident stands out in a crowded list of strange happenings involving double yellow lines over the summer.

In June, a car was lifted by a tow truck before yellow lines appeared to be painted underneath in Norwood, south London, with the angry motorist saying he was then fined for parking illegally.

Bus driver James Dee, 43, says he drove to work as usual, parking his red Vauxhall Zafira before starting his shift at a nearby bus depot. He insists that there were no lines or restrictions on the road when he parked. But when he returned to his vehicle that evening on Beadman Street, he was baffled to find it facing the opposite direction with double yellow lines under his back wheel and a parking ticket attached to it.

CCTV published in a newspaper outlet last night seems to demonstrate how the incident unfolded.

Mr Dee said that he couldn’t believe it. Not only did the council move his car to paint the lines, but they then had the cheek to slap on a parking ticket, which he’s now having to appeal. He said that he’s absolutely fuming and that he’s not paying a penny.

He said that where he left his car there were no lines whatsoever, but that when he came back in the evening at about 8.30 pm, his car was facing the opposite way to how he’d parked it. There were double yellow lines underneath his back wheel and a ticket on his window.

Meanwhile, in July, Edinburgh residents were left confused after tiny double yellow lines, measuring just 30cm long were painted on their residential road when a council installed a new cycle path.

There must be criteria for employment of a traffic warden, probably one bereft of compassion, bereft of common sense and bereft of a brain.

On the upside. Imagine how crime would decline if parking wardens took over from the police. They would be everywhere, hanging around shops to catch thieves, outside tube stations to catch mobile phone snatchers, outside homes to catch burglars and near walls and fences to catch graffiti idiots. But how many of those would be innocent bystanders as well?

Traffic wardens clearly don’t have a brain cell between them because a traffic warden on duty in a popular coastal town slapped a parking ticket on an ambulance attending an emergency. The warden was dubbed a ‘plonker’ while other residents called the act ‘disgusting and ‘an absolute outrage’.

Imagine the stress of having an accident in your car and then having to appeal a ticket. This creates undue stress and makes an already bad situation even worse.

Give a moron a uniform and you still have a moron but in uniform. Let’s face it, traffic wardens are not employed for their intellectual prowess.

However, the fact that the police officer said nothing to stop the traffic warden speaks volumes.

A Nuclear War Is ‘Inevitable’ Following The Ukrainian Invasion, Warns Russian General

A Russian general who wrote the nation’s ‘war bible’ has warned that nuclear war is the inevitable conclusion of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The chilling forecast came from retired Major General Alexander Vladimirov, who authored Russia’s three-volume book called the ‘General Theory of War’.

The veteran commander warned in an interview with journalist Vladislav Shurygin that for the transition to the use of weapons of mass destruction, only one thing was needed, a political decision by the Supreme Commander in Chief Vladimir Putin.

He said that the goals of Russia and the goals of the West were their survival and historical eternity and that this meant that in the name of this, all means of armed struggle available to them would be used, including such a tool as their nuclear weapons.

He warned that he was sure that nuclear weapons would be used in this war, inevitably, and from this neither they nor the enemy would have anywhere to go.

He said the sooner their politicians and leadership realise this, the sooner they start to train troops and the population for this, the more chances they will have for survival, which means victory.

In Vladimirov’s 2013 book, the retired Major General argues that there’s been a transition from the traditional theory of war, where there was a distinction between peace and war, to a permanent state of war which is characterised by constant fear and insecurity.

During his interview, Vladimirov, 78, said training of troops was vital so they have the ability to wage war under the conditions of the use of weapons of mass destruction.

He said that his book has key lessons for Russians.

He said that if you want peace, fight until you win. If you want a long and strong peace, bury the hatchet on the territory of the enemy along with him. He added that they need to be prepared. Prepare the Army, the State, the Economy and the population of the country.

He spoke as Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu declared Russia was imposing a tremendous toll on Ukraine in the war, despite Western support for Kyiv.

He said that from the start of the so-called counteroffensive, the enemy’s losses exceeded 66,000 men and 7,600 ammunition units, and that during the last month, Russia downed 159 (Ukrainian) HIMARS missiles, 13 cruise missiles and over 1,000 drones.

It doesn’t seem as though Russia will ever be a civilised nation, but it seems as if they’re forewarning the US what will happen if they keep interfering in a war that shouldn’t have transpired in the first place.

We should be extremely cautious because if this isn’t a threat and they’re stating an undeniable truth that if NATO continues to escalate things in a war that doesn’t concern them, the unavoidable consequence will be a full nuclear exchange in which everyone dies – this isn’t very difficult to comprehend.

Russia’s nuclear power should have been taken away from them a long time ago because they’ve demonstrated that they’re a threat to the modern world. They’re a superpower that could nuke the world and destroy us all. Vladimir Putin is in a win-win position. He can dangle this nuclear threat over our heads and if he believes he’s failed what he came to do, he will nuke us all anyhow.

It only takes a few devices to annihilate most of human life, and there will be no victors, only losers. Depending on the intensity of the exchange, they could destroy a planet – game over!

As Eminem Orders Vivek Ramaswamy To Quit Using Lose Yourself On The Campaign Trail, A Newspaper Outlet Looks At Pop Stars Who Famously Said No

A catchy song with meaningful lyrics might strike some presidential candidates as the perfect song to drive their campaigns, feel-good anthems and underdog tales. But as much as a candidate may believe a piece of music aligns with their politics or persona, musicians frequently respond with outrage.

Stern letters are sent by lawyers demanding that the cord is abruptly yanked from the speakers, and when it’s not a public scolding soon ensues.

In the latest bust-up, Eminem lashed out at Republican Vivek Ramaswamy’s use of his hit song Lose Yourself.

Here the newspaper outlet looks back at all the showdowns between popstars and politicians, from Dr. Dre and Marjorie Taylor Green to Adele and Donald Trump.

The real Slim Shady told 2024 Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy to stand down and quit rapping to his tunes on the campaign trail.

According to a newspaper outlet, Eminem reached out to the music licence BMI and asked that the Ramaswamy campaign’s licence to use his music be withdrawn.

Ramaswarmy had performed Eminem’s Lose Yourself 11 days before the letter was sent, at the Iowa State Fair, entertaining an early morning crowd assembled to hear him speak alongside Iowa’s Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds.

In a letter dated August 23, a BMI representative got in contact with Vivek’s campaign lawyer about the publisher’s music licence for political entities agreement.

It said the label had received communications from Marshall B. Mathers III, aka Eminem, objecting to the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign’s use of Eminem’s musical compositions (the ‘Eminem Works’).

The correspondence goes on to say that the letter serves as notice that the Eminem Works are excluded from the agreement effective immediately.

It said that BMI would consider any performance of the Eminem Works by the Vivek 2024 campaign from that date forward to be a material breach of the agreement for which BMI reserves all rights and remedies with respect thereto.

Ramaswamy had performed libertarian-themed raps under the stage name ‘Da Vek’ during his undergraduate years at Harvard University and has been a longtime fan of Eminem.

Ramaswamy said that he didn’t grow up in the circumstances that Eminem did. Ramaswarmy’s Indian immigrant parents were an engineer and a physician, but he continued that the idea of being an underdog, people having low expectations of you, that part spoke to him.

It didn’t prevent Eminem from allowing sleepy Joe Biden to use his music when running for president. Perhaps he liked Biden more than Ramaswamy.

It’s not like Ramaswamy’s selling the song. However, he does need permission to use it. And let’s face it, he’s using the music to achieve notoriety for his campaign, and Eminem has every right to say no!

Mind you, Eminem’s sell-by date is well and truly over. Perhaps he should be thankful that anyone wants to play his music. It was awesome back in the day, but now other legends have taken over. But Eminem has rights. He’s not attempting to silence anyone. He’s just asking for it not to be used and for Ramaswamy not to use his music to promote himself.

It’s sort of amusing that the world’s greatest musicians have to keep telling Republicans to stop using their music, and it seems that they can’t find any popular musicians who agree with their politics. Perhaps it’s time they rethought their politics.

Mind you, do excessively rich musicians know what’s actually good for the common people?

It’s Going To Be A Hot One!

Families are soaking up the heatwave at UK beaches on the last day before children return to schools as temperatures are set to hit 29C today.

After a rather dismal summer, the start of autumn is bringing brighter days, with mercury forecast to hit highs of 32C by the middle of the week.

Images show Britons enjoying the sun at popular seaside locations, lakes and parks around the country on Monday.

The Met Office says a jet stream, which has been bringing mostly unsettled spells of weather to the United Kingdom, is continuing to move north, allowing higher pressure to build widely across the UK.

It also explains a second explanation for the heatwave. The former tropical cyclone Franklin continuing to move into the North Atlantic, amplifying the build-up of high pressure.

Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Chris Butler, said that fine and settled conditions would develop and that along with this we would see a rise in temperature across most parts of the United Kingdom next week.

He added that many places could expect to see maximum temperatures rise to 25C or above for several days, which would bring some locations into the realm of heatwave conditions. Although the highest temperatures were likely to be in the south and east of England. These areas also have higher temperature thresholds for heatwave conditions to be declared.

He said, so, while some areas may just miss out on the actual definition, regardless of thresholds, many areas would enjoy a fine period of weather with plenty of sunshine and temperatures were likely to be the highest for many since June or early July.

Met Office senior operational meteorologist Amy Bokota added that most places were going to see wall-to-wall sunshine by the middle of the week, which is something we hadn’t seen for much of the summer.

She said that it’s going to feel warmer than we would expect for the start of autumn, particularly in London and the South East, where the heatwave threshold could be met, but that it would also feel humid and muggy in some areas, with temperatures in parts of the country staying above 20C (68F) overnight, making for uncomfortable sleeping conditions.

Warm and sunny weather spread across the country over the weekend with beachgoers herding to beach spots from Bournemouth in the south of England to resorts in the north.

But really, we need weeks of this good weather to make up for the tragic summer we’ve had, and who would really want to go to the beach when our Government has allowed companies to dump all their waste into our waters?

Oh my God, the sun is out, let’s all panic, and don’t forget to put sun tan lotion on. It’s sunshine and believe me it won’t last that long, but it’s lovely while it’s here, and of course, it’s the hottest on record. They have to say that because they have to keep up with the climate narrative, don’t they? And just think that in three months’ time, it will be December. Although it would be lovely if we had a nice warm Christmas, now that would be something to talk about where climate change is concerned.

Next, they’ll be telling us it’s all to do with climate change and that we’re doomed, what utter rubbish. The ecosystem is supposed to change like it’s done for thousands of years, and it seems that any weather is proof to the climate nuts.

A coalition of more than 1,600 scientists critical of their peers’ hyperbolic assertions about climate change drew a prominent recruit to sign their 2019 declaration that the climate emergency was a myth.

John Clauser, who won the Nobel Prize in physics, became the second Nobel laureate to sign the document with 1,607 other scientists condemning the idea of a climate crisis.

But I’m guessing that the main agenda for this week will be global warming.

The Gap In Pay For Female Spies

A newspaper outlet revealed that female spies are being paid much less to do the same frontline roles as male agents.

Figures from MI5, where 47 per cent of staff are women, reveal a 16 per cent gender pay gap.

A third of spies at MI6, the Secret Intelligence Service, are women but they’re paid 7.3 per cent less, and the pay gap is 11 per cent at listening centre GCHQ, where a third of staff are women.

Women are employed as agent handlers, intelligence officers and surveillance operatives, some of the most important roles in intelligence work.

Their work includes dealing with possible sources who are prepared to speak only to women.

Earlier this year Anne Keast-Butler became GCHQ’s first director.

MI5 has also had two female chiefs, but a woman has yet to be appointed as ‘C’, the codename for the head of MI6.

While the chiefs make salaries of up to £170,000, many of the junior staff earn about £30,000 a year.

MI5 boss Ken McCallum, GCHQ’s director general for strategy Katherine Hammond, and Sir Richard Moore, the head of MI6, said there was still work to be done on both equal gender representation and the pay gap.

If women stopped working tomorrow there would be a blip, if men stopped working we would be living in caves and the deceased would be in a cliff of carcasses.

I read somewhere, which I found particularly funny that ‘women don’t exist no more’. Evidently, neither does the English language or good grammar.

Of course, not everyone works for MI6 and is a spy, and I’m guessing that a female working environment is relatively new and that it was originally a male-dominated institution. However, I can’t imagine that the pay gap for women is lower just because they’re women, can you? But then it’s always been more James Bond, than Jane Bond.

Typically, all government positions were put on a pay band, so I’m not sure how this gender gap came about. But then this is media reporting and like all media reporting only about 78 per cent of their stories are true. It either didn’t happen, or it didn’t happen anything vaguely like it was reported.

Equal pay means that men and women performing equal work, or work of equal value, must receive equal pay, and equal pay has been a legal requirement for decades and is presently covered by the Equality Act 2010. However, even though it’s an Act of parliament, it doesn’t always get adhered to.

The media continue to amaze me, coming up with subjects that make these disclosures. What happened to general news or information of significant importance to the people?

It only takes one man to say that men are more intelligent than women, and then you have all the male sheep following.

Perhaps we should all go back to good old traditional family values, where men worked and supported the family and women looked after the children and the home. That children should be seen and not heard, and men could beat their wives and children into oblivion without any repercussions. What do you think? It isn’t so nice when you say it out loud, is it?

I guess, this would be great for dinosaurs, but we know what happened to them!

Since the beginning of time, women have been brainwashed that taking care of their children, husband and household is what they were supposed to do, what they were born to do. Of course, men are needed, not just for procreation or recreation, but because it gives us women something to do!

A Permanent Memorial Will Be Dedicated To The Queen

The Cabinet Office has announced plans to create a suitable tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of the monarch’s reign ahead of the first anniversary of her death this Friday.

The plans for a permanent memorial to the late Queen and a national legacy programme in her honour will be unveiled in 2026 to honour what would have been Elizabeth II’s hundredth birthday.

The Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee will consider and suggest recommendations for a fitting tribute to the nation’s longest-reigning monarch following her death on September 8, 2022.

The Cabinet Office said that the initiative will be jointly supported by the UK Government and the Royal Household, with Lord Robin Janvrin, the late Queen’s former private secretary, appointed as chairman.

The independent body set up to create the honour will consider Elizabeth II’s life of public service and the causes she supported and will seek guidance from the public.

The Government said it will support the proposals and evaluate funding options, with any plans to be unveiled to coincide with what would have been the Queen’s hundredth birthday in 2026.

Senior figures and experts are set to be assigned to the committee to develop ideas and bring their suggestions to the King and Prime Minister.

Lord Janvrin said that it was an honour to be asked to chair the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee.

He said that it would be a unique challenge to try to capture for future generations Her Late Majesty’s extraordinary contribution to our national life throughout her very long reign.

Lord Janvrin is a trusted figure who worked at Buckingham Palace in various positions from 1987 to 2007. He was honoured in 2007 and sits as a crossbench peer in the House of Lords.

Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden said that Queen Elizabeth II was our longest-reigning monarch and greatest public servant.

He said that Lord Janvrin will now begin the important work of designing a fitting tribute to her legacy of service to our nation and the Commonwealth.

The late Queen unveiled a statue of her father George VI on The Mall in 1955, while a statue of The Queen Mother was pitched nearby in 2009.

After the death of George VI in 1952, funding was raised for grants to community organisations working to improve the well-being of young and elderly people, including the creation of day centres and clubs.

Let’s hope this statue is a fitting one, unlike the catastrophe that was Princess Diana’s, and why does everything in this country take so long? Just unveil the plans and get on with it – it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to draw up the plans for a statue, and at least that way our Queen will never be forgotten.

Queen Victoria had many lovely statues all over the country and so should Queen Elizabeth II. I’d like to remember her as she was before she died, with her walking stick and cardigan on, and then perhaps some younger ones of her around the country.

Nobody is around forever and a statue is a lasting memorial that reminds future generations of who this woman was. Her statue should either be in Westminster or The Mall looking towards Buckingham Palace, and some of her beloved Corgis would be amazing, just to display the real person that was our Queen.

Here’s another good idea – the Queen Elizabeth Medal, the QEM, for public service (charity work et cetera), which would rank above an OBE.

New Information About The Princess Diana Tapes Has Been Revealed

Unheard tapes of Princess Diana claiming getting married to King Charles was ridiculous. That he wanted a girl instead of Prince Harry and how she hated her stepmother have been revealed in bombshell recordings.

The audio was recorded by Diana in the 1990s for her biographer Andrew Morton, who went on to publish the bestselling book Diana: Her True Story.

Snippets of the clips, which are set to air in an upcoming documentary and have been released just a day after the 26th anniversary of Diana’s death in a car crash, have been released in the US.

Diana claims in the recording that Charles told her mother Frances Shand Kydd at Prince Harry’s christening in 1984: ‘We’re so disappointed, we thought it would be a girl’.

Frances then ‘snapped his head off’ and told him he should ‘realise you are lucky to have a child’. Diana added.

The release of the clips could be especially damaging for King Charles because they came just a week before the first anniversary of the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Another clip reveals Diana’s disdain for her stepmother Raine Spencer, who her father John had married in 1976 after her mother Frances had left.

After John’s death in 1992, Raine left the family seat of Althorp due to the strained relationship she had with Charles and Diana. Diana is heard saying that she was so angry and that she told her that she hated her so much and that if only she knew how much they all hated her for what she had done.

Diana was heard saying that Raine had ruined the house and had spent all of her father’s money and that she had no idea how much pain mother put her father through.

Diana and her siblings are said to have referred to their stepmother as ‘Acid Raine’ and frequently sang ‘Raine, Raine, go away!’.

The upcoming documentary, which was announced on Good Morning America, US network ABC’s headline show, was a follow-up to the 2017 production Diana: In Her Own Words.

It’s expected to air on Disney + early next year. Both Harry and Meghan have previously been interviewed on ABC’s GMA.

Harry promoted his memoir Spare on the network in January, whilst the Duchess of Sussex popped up on GMA to talk up the Disney documentary Elephant, which she narrated.

The King saying that he wanted a girl doesn’t mean that he didn’t love his son. However, sometimes when the child isn’t the sex that the parent wanted, they never bond with them, and an unwanted child will never feel wanted because the parent will most probably pick favourites.

I’m sure that this would be extremely upsetting for Harry to hear and the King should have been extremely happy with what he was blessed with, two sons. Okay, so people think that Harry is a bit of a letdown, but nevertheless, Harry is still his son, and blood is thicker than water.

Just because the King wanted a girl, but got another son doesn’t mean he loves him any less. Wanting one of each is hardly a crime.

Some would say that it was time to leave this poor woman alone and her family in peace, but on the other hand, perhaps she would have wanted the public to know the truth, otherwise, why would she have recorded these things – for the public to know what really went on in the Royal Family!

Of course, things go on in every family, and there are loads of skeletons in one’s closet and people are noisy by nature. They say they don’t really want to know, but actually, they do because they’re curious and they want to know all about the Royal Family who are at the forefront of this country – let’s see how many skeletons there really are!

Pregnant Ta’Kiya Young, 21, Was Shot Dead By An Ohio Cop After She Drove Into An Officer

Startling bodycam footage shows the moment a pregnant black woman was shot dead by police after she drove into an officer in a Kroger parking lot.

Ta’Kiya Young, 21, was a mother to two young children and was pregnant with a third when she was shot dead inside her car in Blendon Township, Ohio last Thursday after rolling her car into a police officer. The unborn child was also killed.

Local police officers approached Ta’Kiya Young in her automobile after a Kroger store worker accused her of shoplifting. The family’s lawyer denies she was involved in the theft.

Sean Walton, an attorney representing Young’s family, said the video clearly shows that the shooting was unjustified and has called for the officer to be fired and charged immediately.

He said the video did nothing but confirm the family’s fears that Ta’Kiya was murdered groundlessly, and it was just heartbreaking for them to see Ta’Kiya having her life taken away under such ridiculous circumstances. and that her family are heartbroken.

Police on Friday released the bodycam footage, and an investigation conducted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation remains ongoing.

The video shows one officer talking to Young at her window, while another stands at the front of the bonnet of her automobile.

Young is seen rolling down her car window and asking police why she’s being stopped before turning the steering wheel and rolling her car forward into the second officer.

Shortly before the shot was fired, Young could be heard asking if they were going to shoot her.

The second officer then fires a single shot through the windscreen, ultimately resulting in her death.

Young’s car continues to glide forward until it hits the brick wall of the grocery store to the right.

The officers follow the moving car and smash the driver’s side window.

Blendon Township Chief John Belford said in a statement on Friday that within 10 seconds of getting Young out of her vehicle, officers called for paramedics and within 90 seconds, an emergency room doctor, who was in the parking lot at the time, began helping police to treat her.

A statement released on behalf of Young’s family after viewing the footage called Young’s death ‘avoidable’ and a ‘hateful act’.

The statement read that Ta’Kiya was a beacon of love, strength and energy to all who knew her.

What I find weird is that the cop decided to go and stand directly in front of the automobile, given that the victim was behind the wheel and the car engine was on. What brain cell was that cop using that day?

Undoubtedly, the young woman was attempting to get away from the police. She asked if they were going to shoot her and she was terrified that he would shoot her anyway, which of course, he did. It’s not like she was waving a weapon about. She was of no threat to them at all! And she was shot in cold blood.

Firstly, the officers should have told her to turn off her engine and step out of the vehicle. Clearly, they could see that she was pregnant of no threat to them, and not only did they kill her at short range, but they also killed her unborn child.

Let’s face it. Do people really think that this outcome was necessary and would this have happened if she had been a white 21-year-old woman? I seriously doubt it.

All they really needed to do was take her registration number and put out a warrant for her arrest. It’s not like she was running anywhere anytime soon being pregnant.

Black Lives Matter – I seriously doubt it. Racism against the law – I seriously doubt it. Equality for all – Do me a favour! 

At His Family Mausoleum, Mohamed Al Fayed Is Buried With His Son 

Mohamed Al Fayed has died aged 94, almost 26 years to the day of the crash that killed his son and Princess Diana.

Mohamed Al Fayed went to his grave holding on to his obsession that his son and Princess Diana were murdered in a Paris road tunnel on August 31, 1997.

At Diana’s inquest in London, the bitter billionaire explosively accused Prince, now King, Charles of being ‘happy’ now that the Royal Family had ‘cleared the decks, they finished her, they murdered her’.

He spent more than a decade saying that the Royal Family had alleged involvement in the car crash.

Mr Al Fayed was the world’s 1,493rd richest person, according to Forbes, worth an estimated $2 billion (£1.59 billion). He installed the Egyptian Room in his Knightsbridge store, which boasted several busts of himself, and he also created a memorial to Dodi and Diana, who were dating at the time of their deaths.

He’s supposed to have thought the couple were hours away from announcing their engagement.

Twenty years on from their deaths, friends said he continued to claim that his son Dodi and Diana were killed by security services.

His assertions led to the Harrods store being stripped of its four royal warrants, the right to say that the company supplied goods by appointment to the Royal Family, and in later years, his ramblings about the princess’s demise were overpowered by accusations against the tycoon himself.

A string of women came forward in 2017 to accuse him of sexual assault. One alleged girl said she was a 15-year-old schoolgirl when he grabbed her and ‘started rubbing himself on her chest’. Another was 17 when she said he coaxed her into a swimsuit and tried to kiss her.

Mr Al Fayed was questioned by the Metropolitan Police and afterwards was not seen in public. He had homes in Surrey and his native Egypt but became a complete recluse.

Mohamed Al Fayed was born in 1929 and was the son of an Egyptian school inspector. He was raised in Alexandria and in his early years, he established a shipping company before moving to the United Kingdom, working his way into high society, despite being refused British Citizenship twice.

He owned Harrods from 1985 to 2010 and still owned the Paris Ritz which he purchased in 1979.

It’s extremely sad that Mohamed Al Fayed has passed away, but happy that he and his son have been finally reunited. He appeared to be a lovely gentleman but he bore too much pain. Nobody’s child should be taken before their parent.

I liked him, but sadly he never had any peace when Dodi and Diana were killed, and respect should go to this man for his success because it wasn’t handed to him on a plate. He became successful through hard work and lived life to the full.
