This weekend, hundreds more migrants who had entered the English Channel illegally in tiny boats were brought ashore.
According to official Home Office numbers, 492 asylum seekers arrived in Britain yesterday. This comes despite warnings that people traffickers will continue to take advantage of the calm summer seas to send more people our way.
A week after 703 persons crossed the Channel to the UK last Sunday—a record number for the new Labour government—today’s total may turn out to be much higher.
They brought the total number of immigrants to Britain to 5,492 since Sir Keir Starmer assumed office as prime minister following the July 4 general election, bringing the total this year to 19,066.
Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s intentions to airlift migrants into Rwanda have been abandoned by the incoming Labour government.
Moreover, last weekend saw the deaths of two persons making the dangerous trek.
Downing Street last week indicated the Prime Minister was ‘expecting’ more boat crossings this summer – assisted by the warmest weather of the year so far.
It was also claimed that UK-bound migrants suffered suspected ‘punishment shootings’ in France in the latest evidence of horrific violence among organised crime traffickers.
The Mail can reveal that following the incident on Sunday, the two youngsters received treatment for injuries to their legs and were then allowed to resume their journey from France to Britain.
The two Sudanese lads, one of them was only sixteen, were attacked in Calais on Sunday by a group of Afghans, according to a French investigative source.
Following hospital treatment for injuries to their knees and thighs, they declined to cooperate with law enforcement and continued their effort to cross the English Channel.
Both the injured Sudanese teenagers were caught up in the increasingly vicious gang wars involving ruthless traffickers who provide £1,000-a-head trips to Britain by small boat.
The 16-year-old had a gunshot wound to the knee, making him the most badly injured.
After suffering injuries to his right thigh, the second victim, who was eighteen, was discovered hiding three miles from the port of Calais.
Stopping small boat arrivals was a key issue in Britain’s general election campaign, with Sir Keir vowing to ‘smash the gangs’ responsible for the crossings.
When asked last Monday whether Labour was failing to stop the boats as effectively as the previous Tory administration, Sir Keir’s spokesman said: ‘I wouldn’t agree with that.
This is theft of taxpayers’ funds. One small boatload and that’s thousands of pensioners’ heating allowance a year. The allowance should have stayed and migrants should be in tents pending removal.
Hopefully, this will all stop soon, but not before seniors are forced to make painful decisions since their government is no longer providing their heating allowance.
This country is broken, but our government are happy to welcome the Mpox, lock us down, make us put masks on and then inject us with unproven vaccines – welcome to 1984! And Labour are happy to look the other way, deliberately.
This is Labour’s land of the free, where everyone is welcome at the taxpayer’s expense. We need to stand up against this and be counted!
There are many people out there that think it, but are too afraid to say it out loud and in public. Our government are to blame for it.
The French are more than happy that migrants are landing on our shores because they certainly don’t want them on theirs, and the UK is finished I’m afraid because we are being overrun by thousands of migrants who are preying upon the natives.
