Last night, Michael Gove took the lead in criticising a housing association that banned Ian Austin, a former Labour MP, the chairman for making an offensive social media remark about Hamas terrorists.

The Midland Heart housing association, located in Birmingham, said that Lord Austin had been banned due to a comment he posted on X labelling Hamas as “Islamist murderers and rapists.”

The peer has since removed the post, expressed regret, and made it clear that it was a reference to the activities of the terrorist organisation Hamas in Gaza.

However, Midland Heart officials have announced that they will reconvene in two weeks to talk about Lord Austin’s dismissal from the board.

Levelling Up Secretary Mr Gove said he would be demanding an ‘urgent meeting’ and an explanation over the decision, adding that Lord Austin was a ‘champion for affordable housing’ who had ‘spent his career fighting racism’.

In his post, Lord Austin said, ‘Everyone, better safe than sorry: before you go to bed, nip down and check you haven’t inadvertently got a death cult of Islamist murderers and rapists running their operations downstairs. It’s easily done.’

He wrote this after the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees claimed it had been unaware that an operations centre used by Hamas terrorists was built directly under its office in war-torn Gaza.

Nerve Agents, Tea Poisoning And Plane Crashes

Alexei Navalny, the leader of the Russian opposition, was discovered dead on Friday; it is believed that he fell ill after taking a stroll around the harsh Arctic prison camp where he had been detained since December.

The specifics of what transpired are still unknown; Russian officials claim they are still investigating the cause of Navalny’s death, while his sympathisers claim they have not received formal confirmation of his passing.

However, supporters—including wife Yulia Navalnaya—were quick to point the finger at Russian President Vladimir Putin, claiming he was behind Navalny’s 2020 fatal nerve agent poisoning.

Putin’s opponents have frequently been the target of assassination attempts throughout his almost 25 years in office. Russian officials have been accused by those close to the victims and the few survivors, although the Kremlin has always denied any participation.

A number of dubious incidents, including tea tainted with polonium, mysterious plane accidents, and sharp drops from windows, have befallen Putin’s opponents over the years.

After returning after recording an investigative piece on corruption in Siberia, Navalny became unwell in August 2020 while travelling from Tomsk to Moscow. He had posted a number of videos on his well-liked YouTube channel recently endorsing the pro-democracy protests taking place in Belarus, an ally.

The plane’s video captured Navalny’s abrupt and severe deterioration, with him sobbing in agony. After the aircraft was forced to land in Omsk, Navalny was taken to a hospital and placed in a coma. He was evacuated to Berlin two days later, where he miraculously recovered.

At first, it was believed he had been poisoned by the Russian state adding toxins to his tea, and his team said he had only stopped in an airport café for a drink in the morning. Later, CNN reported a Russian agent sent to tail Navalny had planted Novichok in his underwear.

From 1971 to 1993, a governmental research laboratory in the Soviet Union produced Novichok chemical agents, which were allegedly the most lethal substances ever created. Charlie Rowley and Dawn Sturgess, two British nationals, were also subjected to them in Salisbury in 2018.

The agent was designed to be undetectable by NATO equipment, potentially causing seizures, loss of consciousness, wheezing, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, high followed by low blood pressure and profuse sweating.

Although Russia denied poisoning Navalny, authorities and a governmental agency in charge of removing Soviet-era technology would later face sanctions from the US, the EU, and the UK.

Why does Russia allow this murderous thug to rule them? He’s one deranged man, and he should be stopped before he kills everyone.

‘Threatening’ Police With Meat Cleaver In Paris, Sudanese Man Is Tasered And Killed

A guy who was reportedly menacing French police in Paris with a meat cleaver was shot and killed by them after they first shocked him with a Taser stun gun.

At a tram stop in the capital on Saturday, the man—who has not been named—was reportedly seen waving the weapon and holding a notepad with writing in Arabic.

The man refused to give up the cleaver and approached the police when they got on the scene at approximately three in the morning, according to the prosecution.

According to first reports, four police officers fired their pistols a total of about 20 times, they said, adding that none of the police on the scene were injured.

Prosecutors stated that two investigations had been started into the man’s actions and the police response. The suspect was born in Sudan in 1984 and has no prior criminal history.

When police got on the scene, the suspect had the weapon and was dressed in an Arab-style robe.

The prosecutors allege that he walked over to the officers and refused to put down the cleaver.

According to the prosecution, the four police officers who opened fire were sent to the hospital in a “shocked” state.

Journalist Laurent Obertone reported this morning on X that the incidents happened at the Butte Duhat Rouge station on Saturday at approximately three in the morning.

After being told to halt, the man reportedly ‘brandished a Koranic book’ and threatened the authorities.

CCTV showed a small number of people standing at the station this morning, and a later shot appeared to show investigators marking off the crime scene.

Nowhere is safe from these supposed peace-loving, religious people, but well done to the French police. The British police should be following them in dispatching these nuts, but if the British police did that, there would be protest marches, claims of police brutality, and calls for officers to be sacked, charged, and imprisoned.

It’s simple, the French police don’t muck about; they get the job done. In Great Britain, there would have been utter carnage before the police politely asked them to come with them for counselling and then tuck them up in a comfy hotel.

Why do they all travel to our nation when they detest us so much? Isn’t it time our inept politicians took charge of this situation and removed them all?

We’re lucky they don’t arrive all at once; otherwise, we’d be in danger, but eventually that will happen. You wouldn’t believe how much the NHS spends on interpreters if you went into any maternity ward, given their birth rate.

‘Don’t Get Into Trouble; It Will Bring You A Life Of Misery’

Gangster Ronnie Kray says he regrets his life of crime in never-before-heard audio recorded while the ‘reformed’ hardman was locked up in HMP Broadmoor.

The East End crime boss warns children not to follow in his and his brother Reggie’s footsteps because it will only bring them a ‘life of misery’ in audio recorded in the 1980s.

The interview with Ronnie was recorded by seasoned broadcaster Fred Dinenage for his official Kray Twins book, Our Story.

The recordings were unearthed in the TV journalist’s attic, where they had been since Fred’s visit to Broadmoor four decades ago.

His tapes were almost lost forever as Dinenage’s two daughters, one of whom is MP Caroline Dinenage, nearly taped over them.

Fearsome Ronnie and Reggie ran organised crime in London’s East End during the 1950s and 1960s before they were jailed separately in 1969 and then both moved to Parkhurst maximum security prison in the early 1970s.

Ronnie’s deteriorating mental health meant he was later transferred to Broadmoor Prison, where Dinenage frequently met him throughout the 1980s as the notorious pair’s official biographer.

Ronnie’s instantly recognisable voice can be heard telling youngsters not to turn to a life of crime, pointing at how it turned out for him and his brother.

In it, Ronnie said, ‘Many people who have read our books may think we’ve had a glamorous life, but I advise any young people today not to get into any trouble because it will only bring them a life of misery.

‘I hope people will look again at Broadmoor and the people who are here.

‘I have also made the governor look again at my brother Reg, who has been like this for more than 25 years; it’s time he had justice.

‘Good luck to you, and thank you for your support. I wish I could be with you.

‘One day, with any luck I will be, all the best, Ron Kray.’

Dinenage, an ITV presenter who retired after 60 years in the business, claims to be the only person the twins trusted to recount their story since he was their official biographer.

He released Our Story in 1988 after gaining unparalleled access to the twins, and five years later, he wrote My Story, which is about Ronnie.

Dinenage is now going on tour at theatres in the UK with his show ‘Ronnie, Reggie, and Me with Fred Dinenage’, talking about his time with the nefarious duo.

Fury as Sadiq Khan splurges £6million of taxpayers’ money, changing Overground to ‘virtue signalling’ names like ‘Suffragette’ and ‘Lioness’

During the unveiling of the £6.3 million project to rename and colour all six London Overground train lines, Sadiq Khan was criticised today for his ‘virtue signalling rubbish’.

The Lioness, Mildmay, Windrush, Weaver, Suffragette, and Liberty lines were revealed by the Mayor, with his Conservative mayoral rival Susan Hall saying, ‘The only surprise from today’s announcement is that he hasn’t named one of them the Sadiq line’.

Other Conservatives denounced Mr Khan as a “new lick of paint over a creaking transport system,” saying that naming rights would have brought TfL millions that might have been used to repair the troubled Central Line.

Critics also called attention to the enormous expense of the branding, given that TfL was close to bankruptcy before obtaining impromptu government assistance and the fact that Tube crime had increased by over 50 per cent due to an increase in thefts and robberies.

The news is also made in light of the existing Underground turmoil on the Central Line, which is caused by more trains than normal needing maintenance at the same time, and four days before a significant Overground strike that will disrupt services starting on Monday.

Sadiq Khan is going to spend £6 million in taxpayers’ money, which ultimately could pay for 169 nurses and could treat poorly patients on the NHS. What a waste of money on some vanity project.

All that cash for some progressive project—however, the expense won’t concern this fool, who will only exploit it to get more tax money from London-based people.

Another blow to the British high street, The Body Shop has started the process of filing for administration, putting employment in danger throughout the 200+ UK locations of the business.

The well-known brand presently employs 10,000 workers in its 3,000 locations across more than 70 countries, with an additional 12,000 employees working through franchisees.

The late Dame Anita Roddick founded the business in 1976, and it quickly gained notoriety for its no-nonsense approach to ethical trade and stance against animal testing.

Popular items, including bath bombs, White Musk perfume, and hemp hand cream, contributed to the brand’s success.

However, as competitors Lush and Holland and Barret have grown in prominence, it has lost some of its appeal to UK consumers in recent years.

The business was acquired by private equity firm Aurelius for £207 million a few weeks ago, having previously gone through several owners since being sold to L’Oreal for £675 million by Dame Anita in 2006.

“Despite the challenging retail market, there is an opportunity to re-energise the business to enable it to take advantage of positive trends in the high-growth beauty market,” said Aurelius after acquiring the brand.

According to reports, the brand will undergo a major reorganisation with the appointment of restructuring specialist FRP Advisory in the near future.

The Body Shop stated in January that continental Europe and Asia accounted for the majority of their sales.

It told Retail Week: ‘This further prioritises the Body Shop’s strategically important markets and global head franchise partner relationships, which it will look for opportunities to build.

‘The Body Shop will also focus on more effectively reaching customers by strengthening digital platforms, developing new sales channels, and via differentiated retail experiences.’

A 33-Year-Old Thug Harassed His Ex-Girlfriend While Drunk On ‘Prison Hooch’

After being arrested for threatening to hurl acid in his former girlfriend’s face, a thug got wasted on prison brew and harassed her from behind bars.

Ross Pippin, 33, had also threatened to stab the father of her children after he began abusing her a week into their relationship.

However, the criminal—who has a history of domestic offences—kept harassing his victim by leaving menacing calls and voicemails even after he was locked up.

Newcastle Crown Court heard Pippin and his former partner met in early 2022, but the relationship soured within as he turned jealous and controlling.

In April 2022, he was jailed for 16 months for assaulting his stepfather. While in prison, he continued to contact her.

He was released at the end of May that year and continued attempting to control and threaten the woman, calling her up to 200 times a day and leaving hundreds of voicemails. By August, she’d had enough and had told him the relationship was over.

But one night, while she and her children were in bed, Pippin attended, put something through her letterbox, and ran off. Before calling her to scream down the phone, he would slit her throat.

She hid her children in a neighbour’s garden and called the police. Pippin called back the next day, begging her to drop the charges and offering to leave her alone.

Finally, it was decided that he posed too great a risk to be left in the community, and he was returned to custody.

From behind bars, he made increasingly violent threats, telling her he would ‘smash her face in’ and ‘rip her head off’, before threatening to stab someone in front of her children. He also said he would dance on her grave.

The lady stated in a victim impact statement that Pippin’s actions had “destroyed her,” leaving her with anxiety and PTSD as a result of her concerns for her children’s safety.

She told the court she was having to move house and didn’t think she would be able to get over Pippin’s abuse. She stated her belief that if she hadn’t pressed charges, she would be dead.

Pippin, 33, of no fixed address, entered a guilty plea to two charges of transmitting harmful messages and harassing someone with the intent to cause fear of violence.

The criminal, who has served three years and four months in prison, has fifty prior convictions, including ones for assault and domestic abuse. Additionally, he was granted an indefinite restraining order.

It’s time more prison guards were employed and more stringent measures were put in place.

Making menacing phone calls and producing booze from behind bars—why are all these jail guards standing by and doing nothing?

How pitiful this jail was, and that it was all happening inside their premises. Maybe it’s time to fire the jail governor and install a new leader who can handle things better.

This man should have spent far longer in prison because public safety is far more vital than his freedom. He has over fifty convictions, and it is obvious that he poses a risk to the public, particularly women.

Drugs, mobiles, and alcohol seem to get into prisons, and just out of interest, what part of this is punishment?

As HMS Prince Of Wales Departs For NATO’s Largest Maritime Exercise In 40 Years, Crowds Cheer

Crowds were cheering off the HMS Prince of Wales as it finally departed for the largest NATO maritime exercise in 40 years after delays.

Just before it was scheduled to depart on Sunday to replace her sister ship, which was forced to cancel its own deployment a week earlier, the Royal Navy aircraft carrier had to postpone its departure at the last minute.

The fleet flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth was scheduled to lead the biggest NATO exercise involving more than 40 warships since the Cold War, leaving Portsmouth Naval Base on January 4.

However, a ‘problem’ with the starboard propeller connection was discovered during final tests, forcing the cancellation of the £3 billion warship’s sailing.

Since the cancellation was announced, the crew and base workers have been preparing HMS Prince of Wales to take over HMS Queen Elizabeth’s role in Exercise Steadfast Defender off Norway.

Parents Julie and Mark Benton were waving off their son Ethan on his first deployment as they saw the HMS Prince of Wales depart Portsmouth.

Mr Benton said: ‘That’s a really proud moment for us. This is his first deployment, he joined when he was 17, and this is what he wanted to do from school. And here he is 19 years old and he’s living his dream, and couldn’t be better.

‘It’s a really big deal for him. A big deal for us as a family, and he’s following in his grandfather’s footsteps as well. We’re really, really proud of him.’

The family had travelled from Wrexham, north Wales, to see off their son,S who was ‘disappointed’ when the departure was delayed from Sunday.

But Mr Benton added: ‘All the crew have worked ever so hard to get the ship ready in such a short space of time; that’s fantastic.’

Also in Portsmouth on Monday was mum-of-two Monika Holton, who, with her eight-week-old baby and toddler, was waving off her husband, who is the second navigator of the warship.

The 31-year-old said: ‘I’m pretty excited, pretty anxious. Life is a little bit stressed and hectic, he’s my lifeline, and he’s going away for some time.

‘I’m also very excited. It’s a big exercise for the ship, for the crew. I’m just excited for him.’

She said the one week’s notice before his deployment was ‘quite a shock to the system’ but added that the delay to the ship’s departure meant the couple could enjoy an early Valentine’s Day dinner.

The sailing has been postponed, a Ministry of Defence spokeswoman announced on Sunday. The spokesperson did not provide an explanation for the last-minute cancellation.

In a genuine battle, this ship would be a sitting duck. Engineering at its finest, with a bit of luck, it might reach Dover to pick up a few thousand illegals, but then they might feel safer in their dingy.

But hey, it’s only an exercise, so perhaps it won’t fall apart midway.

Hospital Blunder Leaves Son With Just Minutes To Say Goodbye To His Father

A grieving son was given just an hour to say goodbye to his father because the medics had already called the undertaker after he died during an operation at a private hospital.

Phil, the father of Orson Morris, passed away in December 2021 as a result of errors made at St Anthony’s Hospital in Sutton following a £12,000 gastric sleeve procedure.

Phil’s wife, Dana, was called by staff members at 2 am to be given the news and told she had one hour to see the 48-year-old before his body was taken away.

Dana woke Orson, then 12 years old, before they rushed to the hospital owned by private health provider Spire.

Orson, now 14, told the Mirror he will ‘never forgive’ the hospital for the way they treated his father and ‘ruined his final goodbye with him’.

The youngster claims to have only had five minutes alone with his dad, as ‘heartless’ staff kept walking in while he attempted to sing a song he ‘knew his dad would have loved’.

He said, ‘I’ll never get that back, and that hurts so much. Not only did we only get minutes with him instead of hours, but they demanded we go at 2 am and see the body or we’d be too late.

‘When we got there, staff kept coming in saying, ‘They’re coming’, referring to the funeral directors they had called without consulting us.’

The family was in further distress when they saw a stretcher next to the door with staff from the funeral director while they were ushered out of the room.

Last week, a coroner at the inquest into actor and lecturer Phil’s death found he would have survived had vital steps been taken by hospital staff.

The inquest heard Phil was not properly monitored after the surgery, as staff failed to take blood tests as requested by his surgeon.

He was then allowed to leave intensive care without the oxygen he needed and died on December 10 from hypoxia—a lack of oxygen.

After receiving a bill for Phil’s medical care only a few days after his passing, his family is now thinking of taking Spire to court.

A spokesman for Spire said: ‘We apologise for the distress and pain Mr Morris’ death has caused. Prior to the inquest, we carried out a thorough review of Mr Morris’ treatment and have taken action to address the learnings we identified.

‘We accept the coroner’s findings and will reflect on what further we can learn from this sad case.’

Just because one goes private, it turns out many private hospitals have no facilities for an emergency, and for a child, or anyone, only to get minutes to say goodbye to their parent is sad. There was such a lack of compassion shown by staff.

It seems like the hospital made a medical blunder, and they were trying to remove the evidence.

This man’s death was unexpected, and there would have needed an autopsy for the inquest, which is critical in cases like this. Spire never had the appropriate facilities or staff trained in after-death care.

Spire mucked up by not explaining their actions to the deceased man’s loved ones.

The man’s operation wasn’t an emergency; rather, it turned into one due to the staff’s disregard for the surgeon’s fundamental instructions, and they need to be held legally liable for that alone.

They say that going private is a better quality of care because it is private, but clearly, this isn’t the case.

Jews Condemn Keir Starmer’s Support For A Candidate Who Blamed Israel For Hamas Atrocities

Jewish organisations chastised Labour last night for supporting a candidate who asserted that Israel ‘deliberately facilitated’ the slaughter on October 7.

Secretly recorded, Azhar Ali stated that Israel essentially gave the go-ahead to invade Gaza by endorsing the crimes committed by Hamas against its own citizens.

After being questioned by The Mail on Sunday, Mr Ali apologised yesterday and acknowledged that his remarks were “inexcusable.”

However, according to Labour sources, he will continue to run for the party in the Rochdale by-election on February 29.

It is believed that Labour’s levelling-up spokesperson, Lisa Nandy, proceeded with a campaign event featuring Mr Ali in spite of the scandal, only a few hours after he was compelled to issue an apology. According to a Labour source, Ms Nandy participated in a “scheduled event.”

Last night, the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism called Labour’s position ‘obscene’ and claimed Sir Keir Starmer’s assertion that the party has addressed its nasty anti-Semitism problem was a farce given the refusal to remove Mr Ali.

‘This man does not belong in a major political party, let alone in Parliament, yet Labour is, incredibly, still backing his candidature after a quick apology,’ a spokesman said.

‘This is distressingly familiar to days that Keir Starmer promised were behind us. This is not tearing anti-Semitism out ‘by its roots’. Labour must urgently re-examine this obscene decision if its leader is to be regarded as a man of his word.’

Mr Ali’s remarks were deemed “disgraceful and unforgivable” by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, who also stated that “it is clear to us that he is not apologising out of a genuine sense of remorse.”

Karen Pollock, chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said his remarks were ‘outrageous, highly offensive, mad, and unacceptable’.

And Conservative chairman Richard Holden said: ‘Time after time, Sir Keir Starmer says that he’s changed Labour. Time after time, we’re seeing that simply isn’t true. While vile racist slurs are freely exchanged within Labour, it is unfit to hold public office. Sir Keir should immediately remove Mr Ali’s Labour membership and suspend Labour’s campaign.

‘If Labour won’t do that, the public will see that Labour is happy to run anti-Semitic candidates to attract racist votes and is therefore unfit to play a leading role in our nation’s affairs.’

In a leaked recording of a meeting of the Lancashire Labour Party shortly after the October 7 attacks, Mr Ali claimed Israel had ignored warnings from Egypt and the US of an imminent attack.

Sir Keir Starmer has no morals and would support anybody or anything to get him votes. He sways with the breeze, and he hasn’t got one single belief that’s his and that he will stand by.

He used to be indecisive, but now he’s not sure!

It’s because he’s always trying to have his cake and eat it. A man who believes in nothing but for power’s sake and just slithers and slimes, and no one in their right mind will vote Labour now.

My desire to vote for Labour in the upcoming election is quickly dissipating. Not that the Conservatives are any better, but then, for whom should we cast our votes?

If a Conservative MP had said something similar, I can imagine Sir Keir Starmer being all false anger over the dispatch box. It’s all gibberish, Conservatives and Labour together, and I can honestly declare that no one would be a suitable prime minister in the next election because none of them are in touch with reality.
