The Vast Majority Of COVID Omicron Cases At NY College Were Fully Vaccinated

According to campus officials, Cornell University is seeing an uptick in coronavirus cases and has detected the highly infectious Omicron variant on campus, particularly in completely vaccinated people.

Its online dashboard shows that between December 7 and 13, the Ivy League school in Ithica, New York, reported 883 students testing positive for COVID 19.

Joel M Malina, the school’s vice president for university relations, said in a statement provided to McClatchy News that almost every case of the Omicron variant to date has been found in completely vaccinated students, a portion of whom had also received a booster shot.

University President Martha E Pollack said in a letter to the campus community that on December 13, Cornell’s COVID 19 testing lab discovered proof of the highly infectious Omicron variant in a substantial number of Monday’s positive student samples.

Martha E Pollack assured that out of the students infected with COVID 19, the school hasn’t seen severe infection as of December 14.

According to its virus data tracker that’s recorded 26,008 students and 13,331 faculty and staff members who are completely vaccinated, the on-campus population of Cornell are 97 per cent fully vaccinated.

Martha E Pollack noted that the evidence of Omicron, first recognised by South African researchers on November 24 was preliminary.

Martha E Pollack said PCR testing has identified its hallmark, the so-called S gene dropout in a substantial number of virus samples, and that while they must await confirmatory sequencing information to be certain that the source is Omicron, they’re proceeding as if it is.

She added that the detection of Omicron had prompted the university to enact an Alert Level Red to limit further spread ahead of the end of the fall semester.

According to Pollack, this means that the school’s final exams are now online as of December 14, the ceremony for December graduates on the 18 is cancelled and all undergraduate events are cancelled.

Malina said that the presence of the initial Omicron variant overlaps with an unusually elevated degree of transmission among vaccinated students after Thanksgiving travel and at the end of the semester.

Cornell’s president admitted that some might wonder why the school was imposing such serious steps and said it was clearly excessively dispiriting to do so in the letter, and she said that they do have a part to play in easing the spread of the disease in the wider community.

The Omicron variant seemingly circulates quickly, but some doctors have indicated that it’s a mild strain, which might bring herd immunity the natural way, but that said, until this is confirmed to be the case, people still need to take precautions, particularly those that are unvaccinated.

The anti-vax brigade has done real good and the propaganda is so good that they’ve managed to get people to have selective amnesia, since now flocks of people are now questioning the validity of the vaccine because it’s not prevented people from getting sick, nor has it stopped people passing the disease on.

However, it might just be like the flu jab where you have to have a flu jab every year to prevent people from getting the flu, and of course, you can still catch the flu even after having the jab, but not as severe, so it stands to reason that even if you’ve had the COVID jab that you will still catch it, but just not as severely.

But forcing everyone to be vaccinated does end up turning into a dictatorship.

Beverly Johnson, Chris Noth’s Ex-Girlfriend, Has Accused Him Of Beating Her

A resurfaced newspaper article has revealed that Chris Noth’s supermodel ex-girlfriend Beverly Johnson has accused him of hitting her, making death threats against her, and threatening to disfigure her in 1995 court documents.

The article, which was originally published in The National Enquirer, was posted on the Instagram account Diet Prada after the Sex and the City star, now 67, was accused of rape and sexual assault by two women in a bombshell report in The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the article, Beverly Johnson, now 69, alleged that Chris Noth, whom she dated between 1990 and 1995, hit her during their relationship, and that he also made death threats against her while phoning her up to 25 times a day, threatened to disfigure her, and even promised to kill her dog.

The publication reported at the time that Beverly Johnson told a friend that she’d never been so scared in her life and that she couldn’t believe that someone who’d once been so tender and sweet could turn into this raging wild guy.

Beverly Johnson also reportedly tried to get a restraining order against Chris Noth, who was starring in the role of Detective Mike Logan on the popular crime show Law & Order at the time and vehemently repudiated the accusations made against him by the model.

No criminal charges were ever filed against Chris Noth, who has vehemently denied the new accusations that he raped two women in 2004 and 2015, respectively. The Sex and the City star did however admit to having consensual encounters with both women in a statement given to THR.

Beverly Johnson’s allegations were brought back to light just hours after THR published an article in which two women, using the aliases Zoe, now 40, and Lily, now 31, claimed that Chris Noth had raped and sexually assaulted them in 2004 and 2015, respectively.

The article mentions several insiders who alleged that Chris Noth displayed a mean streak during his relationship with Beverly Johnson, with one source telling the publication that Christopher was jealous of Beverly if she talked to another guy.

He would fly into rages and accuse her of flirting, and ultimately, the verbal attacks turned into physical abuse.

The same source pointed to one alleged happening in 1991 when they claim Chris Noth hit Beverly Johnson in the face with his fist over and over after they returned from a party in New York.

It’s genuinely curious how none of this came out when Sex and The City were on originally and Chris Noth had a regular slot on the show. I guess it could have been because his victims were scared of him, or perhaps it was all conceived to make some money out of him.

There appears to be this new trend now to ruin every man’s life, but then famous powerful people have, up until recently, been untouchable, and social media makes it easier to put it out there. So, now Mr Big isn’t so big anymore more.S

But it’s not just women that get sexually assaulted, it’s men as well.

This crime was not reported straight away, but it was reported to the media, but that’s the trend now sadly. Everything on social media first, because media will hang anyone without question, and why does there not seem to be a single normal person in Hollywood? Because the industry is founded on shallow values, narcissism, looks and spectator popularity.

In 2005, Donald Trump Was Recorded Having Extremely Lewd Comments About Women

According to a video acquired by a newspaper outlet, Donald Trump gloated in offensive terms about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women during a 2005 conversation caught on a hot microphone, saying that when you’re a star, they let you do it.

The video captures Donald Trump talking with Billy Bush, then of “Access Hollywood” on a bus with the show’s name written across the side. They were arriving on the set of “Days of Our Lives” to tape a piece about Donald Trump’s cameo on the soap opera.

Following strong criticism by Republican leaders, Donald Trump gave a brief video statement saying that he said it, it was wrong, and he apologised. But he also called the disclosure a distraction from the problems we’re encountering today.

He said that his stupid words were much different than the words and actions of Bill Clinton, whom he accused of abusing women, and Hillary Clinton, whom he accused of having bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims.

Donald Trump said that he wasn’t a perfect person, nor did he pretend to be someone that he’s not, and that he’d said and done things that he regrets, and that anyone who knows him knows that these words don’t reflect who he actually is.

Sadly, the video was played numerous times so that Donald Trump could be seen in a bad light, even after he became President of the United States, implying that it happened while he was the President.

The tape includes audio of Bush and Donald Trump talking outside the bus, as well as audio and video once they emerged from it to start shooting the segment.

In that audio, Donald Trump discusses a failed endeavour to seduce a woman, whose full name isn’t given in the video.

Donald Trump was heard saying that he moved on her and failed and he admitted it, but it was unclear when the events he was describing took place. The tape was recorded several months after he married his third wife, Melania.

“Whoa,” another agent said.

“I did try and f— her. She was married,” Trump says.

Donald Trump continued that he moved on her very heavily and that in fact, he took her out furniture shopping because she wanted to get some furniture, and he said that he would show her where they had some nice furniture.

He said that he moved on her like a bitch, but that he couldn’t get there, and she was married, and then all of a sudden he sees her, and she’s now got the big phoney tits and everything, and that she’d totally changed her look.

At that point in the audio, Donald Trump and Bush seem to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who’s waiting to escort them into the soap opera set.

“Your girl’s hot as s—, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

Then he says that he’s got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case he starts kissing her, and that he’s automatically drawn to attractive women, and that he just starts kissing them, and that it’s just like a magnet. Just kiss and he doesn’t even wait.

A spokeswoman for NBC Universal, which produces and distributes “Access Hollywood” refused to comment.

Donald Trump said that this was just locker room banter. A private conversation that took place many years ago, and that Bill Clinton has said far worse to him on the golf course, and Donald said that he apologised if anyone was offended.

Of course, lots of people have branded him a vulgar man, and the media went after him but then Bill Clinton did the same and worse, but then I suppose Bill Clinton’s comments were kind of irrelevant because he wasn’t running for President, but then when running for President, everyone will want to dish up dirt on you.

America has seldom produced a great President and no wonder because now the job itself is nothing more than a figurehead position.

Presidents are severely limited in their powers by Congress and are even reigned in by their own teams of advisors and experts, to say nothing of all the behind the scene deals that dampen down a lot of policy and also being beholden to lobbyists and by the President’s own large financial contributors.

But woe betide any of us whose private conversations or repartee with friends are circulated for public scrutiny, I know that many of them would get the sack if it was reported.

Donald Trump made these comments a long time ago. Does that all mean that we should be judged for something we did eleven years ago, and remember Americans did vote for him.

Newsflash most men talk to other guys about what they’ve done or even not done, but at some point, most men will check out a woman’s bottom or cleavage and comment on it. That’s called, just being a human being!

And a man who talks vulgar is far better than the act itself and then tries to cover it up, and when it comes down to it, there are numerous people out there that are guilty of some level of misogyny.

I’d like to hear all the vulgar language that people have ever shared with their friends. No one should ever be judged by their private conversations. We’d all have to be angels to qualify for that.

The only real thing that we can say about Donald Trump is that he doesn’t pay his taxes, and you’ve got to admit, this man does have some chutzpah, and he looks like an orange orangutan – does he not realise that he looks totally ridiculous with his phoney tan?

This is just one male, boosting his masculinity and virility to another male. If he were an ape he’d be beating his chest. Perhaps we could get a clip of Bush urinating on an aeroplane in order to mark his territory.

It’s No Wonder It’s Still On The Market!

Spare a thought for the homebuyers searching for their ideal property only to stumble upon these hell houses.

The houses from around the world, all listed to buy online, have been collated by US Instagram account Bad Real Estate Pics, and subsequently shared on a Bored Panda gallery.

One picture shows a deluge of ice in a kitchen that had been photoed after a pipe burst in the ceiling.

Possible buyers also revealed they spotted a weird closet with numbers scored on the inside of the door as if someone had been trapped in there for days, and another called an apartment complex with indoor balconies the most insane of all time.

The picture of the interior of the apartment complex looks like the inside of a prison and it looks horrible and extremely weird, but this architect was presumably ahead of time – social distancing with your neighbours!

The tiled well is actually an optical illusion which I’m sure many people have seen before, although some people might like that sort of thing, it’s a tad too psychedelic for my taste. Oh, and the joys of photoshop!

They say that people in apartments don’t see much of each other, so perhaps the back to front balconies are a good idea for socialising with your neighbours, that’s if they’re not full of junk or washing.

I don’t know why but I really like the inside balcony thing, but you’d have to get on with your neighbours and you could all sit out there and relax in the evenings even in the winter months.

A Fussy Child Does Not Exist

Gino D’Acampo has slammed moron parents for letting their children become picky eaters and said that there’s no such thing as a fussy child.

The celebrity chef, 45, who shares three children with his wife Jessica, told Annie O’Leary and Wendy Golledge in a podcast, that he’s an incredibly strict parent who will send his children to bed without dinner if they refuse to eat.

And he added that he’s not averse to serving his children the previous night’s dinner for breakfast the following day so they learn the lesson.

He said that a child doesn’t grow up fussy. It’s not possible and that it’s the parents that can’t be bothered to fight. They can’t be bothered to have the argument at the table.

He said that when people talk to him about fussy children with their food, there’s no such thing as a fussy child, but that there is a thing as moron parenting. He said that he means idiots.

He said that they can’t be bothered to see their children go to bed without having any food and that he can, and he said that he’s a very strict dad and that he’s always up for a fight, and that he doesn’t care with whom, if it’s his wife, if it’s his children, if it’s his daughter because he believes that the extra fight he’s having today, will pay off tomorrow.

D’Acampo also said he will serve up last night’s ravioli for breakfast instead of cornflakes until his children eventually eat it.

He said that he only has to do it once because of course, they will eat it because they don’t want to have the same ravioli at dinner time when they come home.

He said not that he wasn’t comparing a dog with a child, but you know it’s the same thing as when you have a little puppy.

He said you only have to tell the puppy off and pretend to slap him a couple of times not to do the wee on the floor and then eventually he’s not going to do a wee on the floor, he’s going to call you to go outside. It’s the same thing.

He said that you know when people say that you’ve got to pick your fights, no, you take every fight one by one. Take all of them, and he said it works for him really beautifully, and that you need to have at least one parents who are in for every fight.

D’Acampo might seem extremely strict to some people out there, but he’s just being real. These children won’t die of hunger, and they’ll learn to eat what they’re given because we have become such an entitled culture and we seem to bring children up to believe they deserve anything they want.

Another way to get your children to eat their food is by getting them involved with preparing and watching how the food is made. Make it exciting for them. Even something as simple and easy as beans on toast gives them that satisfaction they crave.

It’s understandable that not everyone likes everything, but then there are some people who are quite adventurous in their eating habits, in that they’ll try anything at least once, but there are a lot of children out there that will say they don’t like something without trying it.

Of course, there are exceptions, when children have allergies to different foods, that’s a medical thing and not a child just being fussy!

For Me, It Looks Like A Christmas In Isolation

Britons across the country demonstrated their dismay at having to spend Christmas Day in isolation this year after testing positive for COVID 19, meaning they must remain home for the next ten days.

People tweeted pictures of positive lateral flow tests and said they were feeling sorry for themselves and Merry Christmas to them, amid claims more than 1 million people are likely to be isolated with COVID on their own on December 25.

According to official calculations, the pace at which the Omicron variant is circulating means that four times more people are likely to be isolated with COVID this Christmas than last December 25, when household mixing was prohibited across much of the country and a third national shutdown was looming.

Anyone becoming sick from today onwards will still be in the required ten-day isolation period on Christmas Day.

Yesterday there were more than 4,700 confirmed Omicron cases, and Ministers claim the number is doubling every two days, and that at this pace, almost 100,000 people will be confirmed with Omicron on Christmas Eve, and around 1 million will be isolated the next day.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid told MPs that even if Omicron turned out to be less severe than the Delta variant, the fact it spreads so easily meant it still has the potential to devastate the NHS, and he told Ministers that modellers believe Omicron cases may already be running at 200,000 a day and doubling every two to three days.

However, some experts have cast doubt on the figure, which is far higher than the official COVID total and which is based on disputed mathematical modelling. Downing Street insisted the projection was valid.

England’s chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty warned the Cabinet during an update yesterday that the new Omicron variant was spreading unbelievably fast.

Professor Chris Whitty also warned Ministers that astronomical infection rates would spark staff shortages in pubs, restaurants and shops, sparking concerns of a repeat of the so-called pingdemic that led to the shutdown of whole swathes of the economy over the summer.

He also said the wave could trigger a substantial increase in hospitalisations. Scary Government modelling predicted that hospital admissions could surpass levels seen during the January lockdown when 4,000 infected patients were needing medical care every day. In response, NHS bosses yesterday ordered hospitals to discharge as many patients as possible off wards and into care homes.

Of course, the emotive here is just kill granny. Or maybe granny might want to take personal responsibility for her own life? This is all hogwash and it stands to reason that if someone felt ill they would stay away from people, we don’t need the Government to tell us what to do.

You simply can’t hide away from a virus that not going to go away for an extremely long time. It’s going to linger about for at least the next five years, if not longer.

People who have been to have their vaccinations are still being told that they’re at risk, so what was the point of having two jabs and a booster if it doesn’t work?

The problem is we live in a world that the masses are delusional. First, it was one mask, then two jabs. Now it’s two masks and seven jabs, and you have to surrender your children. Soon it will be three masks, 12 jabs, three children and a partridge in a pear tree.

Navigating all this is challenging, but we should never have to conform to a delusional society, and if you’re truly sane, you will always be deemed a pariah by a society that has gone utterly insane.

At any other time, people would have just gotten on with their lives. Now the Government gives you a piece of plastic to test with and put down your throat and up your nose and you’ve got your five minutes of fame – Stockholm Syndrome.

Speaking To The Nation, Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson addressed the country, telling us all that the COVID Alert Level had been raised.

The Prime Minister gave his COVID update at 8 pm from Downing Street, which focused on ramping up the booster rollout to fight the new Omicron variant.

The UK COVID Alert Level has been raised from Level 3 to Level 4 in light of the rapid increase in Omicron cases, and it’s been said that the transmission of COVID 19 is already high in the community, mainly still driven by Delta, but the emergence of Omicron adds further and rapidly growing danger to the public and healthcare services, and that early evidence indicates that Omicron is circulating much quicker than Delta and that vaccine protection against symptomatic disease from Omicron is reduced.

It was said that information on severity would become more apparent over the coming weeks but hospitalisations from Omicron were already happening and those were likely to grow rapidly.

Boris Johnson discussed the significant expansion of the booster programme as fears mount over the spread of Omicron, and he informed everyone about the changes to COVID restrictions but didn’t say that Christmas had to be cancelled, at this point.

The UK’s top medics decided to ramp up the COVID alert level as a further 1,239 confirmed Omicron cases were recorded in the United Kingdom as of today.

Total cases of the new strain have rocketed by 65 per cent since Saturday, rising from 1,893 to 3,137.

Earlier, Dr Susan Hopkins, the chief medical adviser for the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), cautioned that a large third wave of infections was unavoidable and further restrictions may be required.

She said people will have to reduce social contacts, and encouraged everyone to take lateral flow tests before going out to meet anyone.

Dr Susan Hopkins told the BBC that it was inevitable that we were going to see a large surge of infections, and that what they were not clear on, and which was essentially making sure people go out and get their vaccination for, is how much that will impact hospitals.

Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi told the UK was now locked in a race between the jabs programme and the spreading new variant, and that new modelling indicates that, under one scenario, almost twice the number of COVID patients could be admitted to the hospital compared with last year due to the impact of Omicron.

It’s also been said by a number of citizens that people need to learn and stop being sheep to our Government, and that the vaccines haven’t worked and nor will the boosters and that it’s a sack of nonsense, and that the only thing the vaccines will do is damage our immune systems, and that people are listening to someone who can’t even string a sentence together.

It’s also been said that Boris Johnson couldn’t even organise a p*ss up in a brewery, oh wait, he’s already done that at No 10, and I’m sure that when he did his address, people were hoping that it would be his resignation speech – now that would be an early Christmas present!

Ambulance Service Apologises To Family Of Great Grandfather

West Midlands Ambulance Service has apologised to the family of a 91-year-old great grandfather who died after waiting 10 hours for paramedics to arrive when he broke his hip following a fall.

Don Mansell, from Shrewsbury, lost his balance and fell onto the concrete floor in the kitchen of his home on November 28.

A newspaper outlet reported that his daughter Sue Beesty, who’d been visiting her father at the time, called an ambulance just after 2.30 pm, but it wasn’t until the early hours of the morning the next day that paramedics arrived.

Sue Beesty said that during the 10-hour wait, her father was in so much agony and he kept saying it must be my turn for the ambulance.

Once paramedics arrived, Mr Mansell, a great grandfather of five and an ex carpenter, was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where his condition worsened and he passed away days later on December 3.

Mrs Beesty is now calling for the Government to stop ambulance delays in the country and blames a lack of funding for the emergency services for the wait.

She told the newspaper that her husband and herself had just arrived to see him on Sunday afternoon and that he was standing facing the countertop and he turned 90 degrees and lost his balance, landing on the concrete floor.

She said that she rang for an ambulance just after 2.30 pm but it was the early hours of the morning the next day before the ambulance arrived, but all that time that he was lying there in agonising pain and he was in so much pain, he kept saying about the ambulance and that it must be his turn.

She said that it was awful because she couldn’t do anything, but they were advised not to move him or to allow him to drink because he might have to have an operation.

She said that when he got to the hospital he was listed for an operation but then they said his heart was too weak.

Mr Mansell later died on December 3 after his health declined in hospital.

More than 10,000 people waited 12 plus hours to be seen in A&E last month, damning official figures revealed last week as the health services buckled under the pressure of pandemic backlogs.

Health bosses claim that the NHS is fighting multiple problems at once, with staff deficiencies, winter pressures, pandemic backlogs and COVID all adding to the pressure on the health system.

This poor man was left without anything to drink because his daughter was told not to give him any fluid. This was a 91-year-old man and by the time he got to the hospital, he was probably dehydrated and because she was instructed not to give him any liquids, after 10 hours his kidneys wouldn’t have been able to function properly, especially at his age.

Even after 8 hours with no fluids, you would become dehydrated, and not only that because he couldn’t get up to go to the toilet, well you can imagine what must have happened – that’s if he could even go to the toilet because he would have been so dehydrated, and there’s only one word for this – disgraceful.

We all pay into a system for this kind of thing. I understand that there’s a crisis, but our Government should have been prepared for this. That’s why it’s called a contingency plan for when something goes wrong, and if there was no contingency plan, then where the hell is our money going to and on what because it’s definitely not the NHS service, that’s for sure!

A Police Investigation Has Been Launched Into The Death Of A Nine-Month-Old Boy

A police investigation is underway after a nine-month-old boy choked to death on food at a day nursery in September.

Oliver Steeper was being cared for at Jelly Beans Day Nursery in Ashford, Kent when he became unable to breathe while eating.

The toddler was taken to hospital, where he passed away six days later. The nursery was closed down weeks after the incident.

A funeral for the young boy was held at Charing Crematorium.

Now Kent Police have confirmed officers are investigating the events that led to the child’s demise.

A representative said that Kent Police are investigating the circumstances following a death at a childcare facility in Ashford.

As well as the police inquiry, the Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-agency Partnership (KSCMP) is also carrying out a review of the case to see if improvements to care for children can be made.

Oliver’s father, Lewis Steeper, said that the funeral was simply beautiful and was the perfect tribute to Oliver’s life and that they have great memories, photos and videos they will cherish forever, and that Oliver’s presence remained strong in their house, with some lovely photos now up on the wall.

He said they will never stop loving him and that they’re thinking about him and that they have a huge hole in their hearts that will never be filled with the joy their son brought to their small family.

Well-wishers have donated more than £12,000 in the memory of the young toddler.

The daycare centre was initially closed down temporarily after education and childcare watchdog Ofsted suspended its roster over serious safeguarding concerns relating to the fatal incident.

Matt Dunkley, chairman of the KSCMP, said that the loss of a child is a terrible tragedy and that their thoughts were with Oliver’s family, friends and all those who knew him, but that the KSCMP was committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people and that they would be undertaking a Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review in regard to the case.

He said the purpose of the review was to identify improvements that could be made to practice and disseminate the learning so that they can achieve better outcomes for Kent’s children and young people, and that the element of the case relates to safe eating in a non-familial setting.

He said that the KSCMP is therefore designing a comprehensive Safer Eating campaign to assist professionals in a mixture of settings to ensure they’re working to best practice standards when feeding babies and young children.

This is a horrible tragedy, but then the Government have made it extremely hard for mothers to remain at home with their children, which means they have to go out to work, and then tragedies like this happen.

It might be said that mums that remain at home are knee-deep in nappies and temper tantrums, but being at home with your child during the early stages is much better for your children than them being in child care full time.

And being at home allows you to plan and organise activities and prepare a daily routine for both the child and yourself. You can give them their food on time and take care of their basic needs, instead of child care doing it for you.

Children flourish when they have a safe and positive relationship with people, particularly their parents, and a mother plays numerous roles in a child’s growth and she is the teacher in every aspect of the child’s developmental growth, social-emotional, physical, cognitive and independence.

However, there are a bunch of disadvantages of being a stay at home mum, and one of those is less money because most households these days need both parents to work because the Government make it extremely difficult for women to stay at home with their children.

The problem is those mother’s that do have to go out to work, spend less quality time with their children. They’re overloaded with work and have to multitask which bring negative feelings into the household. No proper disciplining of the children. There are often behavioural problems, relationship problems, which means we then have extremely clingy children.

A mother plays a vital role in the family, which is a powerful force for social cohesion and integration, and a child-mother relationship is essential for the healthy development of children, but sadly mother’s are not only caregivers now they’re breadwinners as well.

The other thing is quality childcare is not always affordable, so it can work out more costly to go to work than remaining at home with children, and if women do go out to work, they not only have to work, but they also have to do the chores and housework, that doesn’t evaporate for working women, it’s all still there when they get home.

Most working mum’s hate leaving their little ones in someone else’s care to go to work, some have even cried their eyes out for days because babies are vulnerable and can’t speak for themselves, and many mothers would rather give their children their undivided attention.

And staying at home means that you have your family, freedom and free time, which means you can take care of your family. After all, in your home, you’re the boss.

I’m not saying that mothers shouldn’t go to work, I’m just saying it’s a matter of preference, but for those mothers that do work, sometimes the pay is extremely poor. Someone you don’t know is looking after your children and you really have no idea if they’re going to come to any harm, which this little toddler did.

Hospitals in The United Kingdom Are Reporting Omicron Cases, According To Nadhim Zahawi

Nadhim Zahawi revealed there are now patients with Omicron being treated in UK hospitals, and he said the new coronavirus variant means a massive bump in the road for the nation’s recovery from the pandemic.

The Education Secretary painted a gloomy picture of the spread of the mutant strain as he said it now accounts for one-third of all cases in London.

He also confirmed that cases of the variant are doubling every two to three days with more than 1,600 formally confirmed so far.

However, Mr Zahawi warned that the true number of cases of Omicron will be up to ten times that as he said the vaccine booster programme is now in a race against time against the variant.

Dr Susan Hopkins, the chief medical adviser for the UK Health Security Agency, said that while there are now cases in UK hospitals there is yet to be a confirmed Omicron related death.

It came after it emerged that Michael Gove was leading the push for tougher Plan C COVID 19 restrictions, including pub passports after pandemic modelling revealed the Omicron variant could cause more hospitalisation than last winter.

However, Boris Johnson and Downing Street are said to be resisting Michael Gove’s calls for a new crackdown, as the Prime Minister faces a rebellion from his own Conservative party in a vote over the introduction of Plan B rules.

Senior Cabinet ministers are said to be preparing to revolt against the Plan B measures in a vote next week, and 65 Tory MPs have already demonstrated they will vote against.

A Commons vote is set to be held on Tuesday over the Plan B measures, which require face masks to be worn in non-hospitality venues and ask people to work from home where possible. NHS COVID passes will also be required in some venues, like nightclubs, from Wednesday.

Michael Gove, who has been one of the most consistently pro-restriction Cabinet ministers since the beginning of the pandemic, said the very challenging new information meant that action was clearly needed and that as new data came in they would consider what steps to take in the face of that data.

The minister’s call to potentially cancel Christmas for a second year running comes as scientists advising the Government have said tougher COVID restrictions may be required to stop Omicron causing anywhere between 25,000 to 75,000 deaths in England over the next five months.

If someone said it was raining outside, does that mean that we’re all going to look outside to check? So far that we know of, Omicron has killed no one, although there are people in hospital from it being treated for it, but so far no one has died from it, which means that you can’t trust the way that the data is being manipulated, as they do so often, and this just demonstrates that our Government have and will continue to do so.

It’s all to do with fearmongering and although Omicron is COVID it doesn’t appear to be as bad as the former variants, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t still be vigilant. Wear a mask if you want to, or don’t but logic dictates that we should still be cautious just in case, and the fact that Nadhim Zahawi is the Education Minister and not the Health Secretary, why should anyone believe what he says?

And what tests are they using outside of the hospitals to isolate and identify Omicron?
