Israel Asks Matt Hancock To Let Brain-Damaged Girl, Two, Be Treated In Their Hospitals

Israel has appealed to Matt Hancock to allow two-year-old suffering from irreversible brain damage to be treated in Tel Aviv.

The plea comes after UK doctors got permission to turn off life support treatment against the wishes of the girl’s ultra-Orthodox Jewish parents.

Alta Fixsler was born in the United Kingdom and sustained brain damage during birth, and she’s been hooked up to a ventilator at the Royal Children’s Hospital ever since, with her doctors saying that she can’t breathe, eat or drink without sophisticated medical treatment.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, which has responsibility for her care, asked a High Court judge to determine whether it was in Alta Fixsler’s best interests to remove life-sustaining treatment and put her on a palliative care regime.

Lawyers representing the trust told the court that there was no chance of her ever getting better.

Her parents say their faith means they can’t agree to measures that would lead to her death and want to take her to a hospital in Israel, where they’re citizens.

Last month, a High Court judge ordered that it was in Alta Fixsler’s best interests for the treatment that’s currently supporting her precious life now to be removed.

However, Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein has now appealed to the British government through his counterpart, Matt Hancock, to reverse the judgment after being notified of Alta Fixsler’s parents’ plea that she be treated in Israel.

The hospital has petitioned the Supreme Court for permission to disconnect Alta Fixsler from the device to which she’s connected, which will result in her death.

According to a legal opinion attached to the request on behalf of the family members, and according to Israeli law, which is acceptable in their opinion. In cases where the parents oppose the suspension of medical treatment that could lead to the child’s death and that life expectancy surpasses six months, medical treatment must not stop.

Alta’s parents are Orthodox Jews and Israeli citizens, living their lives according to Hebrew law, and they’re interested in transferring Alta to one of the two hospitals in Israel that have expressed a willingness to treat her.

The High Court’s current situation is that a transfer to a hospital in Israel should be denied because Alta’s suffering shouldn’t be prolonged.

Alta’s parents will find out by tomorrow if they’re entitled to appeal the High Court’s judgment, and if Israel believes that they can do better, there’s no harm in letting them try, as long as they don’t give the parents false hope.

Parent’s wishes should always overrule decisions made in the UK courts, but that doesn’t happen because it’s deemed a burden to the UK taxpayer and that there’s no cruelty involved, which in this case, there may well be, but generally, it’s nearly always about money and how much it’s going to cost the taxpayer, and there’s usually no compassion, which makes us all cold-hearted reptiles.

Woman, 37, Killed Her Friend

A Wisconsin woman has been charged with killing her friend by poisoning her with eyedrops then trying to make the death look like a suicide.

Jessy Kurczewski, 37, was indicted for killing her friend, who hasn’t been identified, after embezzling almost $300,000 from her in 2018.

According to charging documents filed on Monday, Jessy Kurczewski called the police last year after pretending to have discovered the victim dead at home.

She’d put painkillers on the woman’s chest and told police that she was suicidal, but when the police carried out a post-mortem, they discovered that the victim had a lethal dose of tetrahydrozoline in her system, which is the main ingredient in eye drops.

Jessy Kurczewski attempted to persuade them that the victim deliberately poisoned herself by drinking the solution, but she later confessed that she’d brought her friend six bottles of the eyedrops Visine, but said she didn’t believe it would kill her because the friend had already been drinking the liquids.

The police then looked at her bank records and found she’d acquired $290,000. That included about $130,204 that was believed to have been transferred fraudulently by check from the victim to Jessy Kurczewski, according to the complaint.

She’s now been charged with homicide and two counts of felony theft. It’s unclear how she intends to plead.

Perhaps it’s time to make this a prescription medication only. However, there are already lots of over the counter medications out there that’ll kill you if used incorrectly, and they can’t be banning all of them.

And eye drops can kill, who the hell would have known that? Perhaps they would have made a person really ill, and anyone with a brain would have known that, but to have known they would kill someone, well now that’s malice aforethought because she would have had to do some research beforehand, and they put this in the media to give other unhinged people ideas!

And I’m sure to this woman it seemed like a great idea at the time, and she thought there was no way that she would get caught, especially since she deposited the stolen money in her own bank account – what brain cell did she use for that?

This is just a worthless human lust for money, which is the source of all evil, and it should never surprise us that the elevator of human hate has no bottom floor.

Queen Has Offered Olive Branch To Prince Harry

She’s been accused of handing down genetic pain and suffering and her family disgraced by racism allegations, but the Queen clearly doesn’t hold a grudge against Prince Harry, and now apparently the monarch has invited her grandson to join her for lunch at Windsor Castle when he travels over from California for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue next month.

It’s a typically kind display by Her Majesty, and the lunch will be a chance for them to talk things through, but the invitation is said to have been made before the birth of the Duke and Duchess’s daughter last Friday, and Harry and Meghan announced that they had named their daughter Lilibet after the Queen’s family nickname.

Meghan is expected to stay behind at the couple’s £11 million mansion in Montecito, California, with baby Lilibet and their two-year-old son, Archie.

It would be the first time that Harry has had a tete a tete with his grandmother since he and Meghan announced that they were leaving Britain more than a year ago.

After the rancour of the Sandringham summit and tense Megxit negotiations, she hosted an informal Sunday lunch for Harry in March 2020, a month before he and Meghan formally stepped down as serving members of the Royal Family.

They dined in the Queen’s dining room in her Windsor Castle apartment, and when Harry attended the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, he talked to the Queen only outside with other members of the Royal Family.

They will certainly have much to talk about.

In his and Meghan’s now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, they made a series of distressing allegations about the Royal Family and accused an unnamed royal of racism.

In a series of public appearances since Harry blamed his family for his mental distress and said just the idea of travelling back to London was enough to fill him with terror.

The Queen, by contrast, has made clear that Harry and Meghan will be much-loved family members, but a Buckingham Palace spokesperson refused to comment.

But the Queen is 95 years old and I would guess she’s just had enough of all the tension and wants to fix things before she leaves this mortal sphere, although I’m sure he will be offered a portion of Humble Pie when he gets here.

But the Queen has been angering her UK subjects by not taking away their titles despite the preponderance of the United Kingdom wanting this, and Harry and Meghan might have been untruthful and cruel to her and the family but this lady has loved her grandson all his life, and that won’t change because blood is thicker than water.

And the Queen has become a lot softer in her old age, and don’t forget she forbade her sister Margaret from marrying who she wanted, not that she wanted to, but because she had no other option, and Charles wasn’t permitted to be with Camilla before Diana as she wasn’t pure, but times have changed somewhat, and she’s a grandmother and grandmothers will forgive quite a bit.

At the end of the day, family is family, whether you’re from royal stock or not, and I hope that they both have a grand time together and that Harry brings her loads of photographs of the great-grandchildren with him.

But as far as the public are concerned, they don’t believe that some DNA overrides her UK subjects wishes and that the Queen needs to hear them and act accordingly, but she really doesn’t, she’s the Queen, but first and foremost she’s a grandmother and great grandmother.

E-Scooters Are Legally Allowed On London’s Roads For The First Time

E scooters are legally allowed on London’s roads for the first time after the metropolis launched a rental trial, as one of the manufacturers insisted they were as safe as possible amid safety concerns.

A senior Met officer has called the gizmos absolute death traps and they’ve been linked to a string of accidents, including the death of YouTube star and TV presenter Emily Hartridge, but Alan Clarke, director of policy at manufacturer Lime, insisted the contraptions were extremely stable and had the best possible safety features, such as dual brakes and a reduced top speed of 12.5 mph.

The scheme was originally limited to a handful of areas including Ealing, Canary Wharf, Hammersmith and Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Richmond upon Thames.

The trial took a late blow when the City of London declared it was withdrawing at the last minute, although officials maintained it was for administrative reasons rather than over safety concerns, and comparable pilots have already taken place in more than forty towns and cities, including Birmingham and Manchester.

And while Transport for London (TfL) has hailed the move as a fundamental part of the city’s sustainable future and post-pandemic recovery, a Metropolitan Police officer thinks otherwise.

Simon Ovens labelled e scooters as absolute death traps, with officers having seized about 800 already this year.

Concerns of reckless manoeuvring of the scooters such as riding too fast, riding under the influence and disregarding red lights have been widespread since the announcement of the initiative.

In 2018, there were four recorded e scooter accidents in London, which climbed to 32 in 2019.

Accident numbers are believed to be underreported, as drivers using them in prohibited zones are unlikely to tell police about collisions.

However, Lime executive Alan Clarke insisted it will be really clear, just how different a rental e scooter is from a privately owned e scooter.

He said that the safety standards are high and that contrasts starkly with private e scooters, which don’t have to pass any standards at all to be put onto the street because by definition they’re already illegal.

He said that he believed people were going to notice that and they certainly expect people to look at the scooters that they’re putting and see how much safer they are, and he added that there was a real interest from people to use this kind of zero-emission and convenient transportation.

However, there’s no safety clothing, training, or accountability, and electric scooter riders are becoming a menace and a danger on the roads, and they ride them on the paths too with no thought to the pedestrians.

They ride them on the paths, on the wrong side of the road and even through red traffic lights, and a lot of them aren’t even legally rented ones, and the police aren’t doing anything about it, and now there are more wheels on the pavements for everyone to avoid, and these scooters are being dumped everywhere.

The e scooter is quite safe, but it’s the riders who are dangerous when on them, but I guess you could say that about guns, that they’re pretty safe, and that it’s the shooters who are dangerous, and the first legal case of damages against a local authority allowing e scooters can’t be far off, it’s just a matter of time, and without training for riders, scooters are death traps, and people who use them should have to take a theory test on road safety and have instruction on how to drive them safely.

Piers Morgan Says It’s Ironic

Piers Morgan said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to use the Queen’s nickname for their new baby daughter was ironic, given the pair had spent weeks trashing the Royal Family and the monarchy.

The DailyMail.com editor-at-large was responding to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announcing the birth of Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, which seemed to have caught Buckingham Palace on the hop.

‘Lilibet’ was the name coined by the Queen when she was too young to pronounce Elizabeth.

The 7lbs 11oz baby, whose late granny Diana’s 60th birthday would have been next month, was born on Friday evening UK time.

Buckingham Palace refused to say when the Queen was notified of the safe arrival of her 11th great-grandchild, who’s eighth in line to the throne, or whether she was told of the tribute to her in Lili’s name. However, a news outlet reported that Harry had talked to his grandmother before the announcement was made.

The birth came after Harry and Meghan made a string of volatile claims about the Royal Family and accusations about royal life during bombshell interviews with Oprah Winfrey over the past few months.

Piers Morgan appeared on Australia’s Today programme on Channel 9 and was asked by host Karl Stefanovic what he thought of the name. He responded that he believed it was pretty ironic, and that you have this couple that has been trashing the Royal Family and the monarchy for the last few months and they’ve named the child after the Queen.

He also said he wondered if the decision to honour the Queen with their daughter’s name was Harry and Meghan’s way of attempting to rebuild bridges with the rest of the Royal Family.

Piers Morgan said that perhaps it was their way of reaching out, as the Americans say, to the royals and wanting some kind of end to this on running feud.

Piers Morgan, 56, then offered a few words of support to the couple, saying that he believed that when a new baby is born, and that he’s had four himself, it’s rude to put any negative slant. And that at such a moment, he wished them all the very best, and that there was four in the family now and he wished them every success and a long and happy life.

However, this is getting absurd with Piers Morgan and he should let it go, whether he likes Meghan Markle or not, it appears that the guy is obsessed with her, and he’s like a schoolboy that’s been dumped on his first date.

And all women should run from Piers Morgan because he uses his privilege to pursue Meghan Markle through the media, and I can’t believe that he gets paid for his opinions, and Piers Morgan should take a chill pill because Lilibet is a beautiful name and Harry obviously loves his grandmother.

It’s a new baby and it’s a great moment for the family, and whether they asked the Queen for approval, it doesn’t matter, it’s just a name and really folks, do we all ask for permission when naming our children, no we most certainly do not!

Chinese Military Scientist Registered A License For A COVID-19 Vaccine

A Chinese military scientist with links to the United States reportedly filed a patent for a COVID 19 vaccine well before the virus was declared a global pandemic.

According to a news outlet, Yusen Zhou, who worked for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), lodged the paperwork on behalf of the Chinese political party on February 24 2020.

The date was just five weeks after China first confirmed human transmission of the coronavirus.

Yusen Zhou is also said to have worked closely with scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), including Shi Zhengli, the deputy director of the laboratory who’s renowned for her research on coronavirus in bats.

Their involvement is expected to strengthen speculation that the virus leaked from the laboratory and that China was aware that it was spreading between humans long before they informed the international community.

Yusen Zhou mysteriously died less than three months after he filed the patent, and a news outlet declared that his death was only reported in one Chinese media report, despite the fact he was one of the country’s most notable scientists.

The newspaper reported that Yusen Zhou had previously worked on research linked to the US institutions, including the University of Minnesota and the New York Blood Centre, and in recent weeks, several of the world’s top scientists have pushed to determine whether the virus was leaked from the WIV.

The laboratory leak theory was originally rejected by many in the media and academic communities, but US President Joe Biden last week ordered intelligence agencies to launch an inquiry into whether COVID was man-made after all.

More than a dozen national Labs managed by the Department of Energy have been ordered to assist the intelligence community in a 90-day sprint to examine the source of the virus.

A White House official told CNN that the labs had been tapped because of their ability to crunch huge amounts of data with their advanced supercomputers, and the White House official told CNN that they wanted the science to be a huge part of that and that they were going to use the full resources of their intelligence and scientific community to try to get to the bottom of it.

Joe Biden is also urging US intelligence agencies and those of allies to hunt for new information that could shed light on whether China covered up the laboratory leak, and this is not looking good for China, and maybe the conspiracy theorist may have been onto something after all, and let’s face it, it’s the conspiracy theorist that’s simply the first one to put the puzzle together – it doesn’t hurt or harm when asking others to think outside the box.

Zhou died in inexplicable circumstances in May 2020, less than three months after filing the patent – of course, he did, and I wonder how many others died in questionable circumstances, and it’s becoming more and more apparent that this was all done to plan, but nothing will be done about it – Joe Biden doesn’t have the sand and no other country has the guts, and this is sounding more and more like a crime against humanity.

And it was suspected that the virus was designed for population control, to eliminate the weak and vulnerable, and if this was the case, the entire thing is sickening and a complete cover-up.

And for someone to have filed a copyright of a virus vaccine before the COVID virus was ruled a pandemic, indicates that they knew something terrible was about to happen, and this sort of thing should frighten people to death because it would then lead us to believe that the virus did escape from Wuhan.

Baftas Was So Woke It Should Be Renamed The Waftas!

Viewers called out Bafta for hosting a woke awards ceremony last night, with many suggesting they would turn off or fast forward through the politically correct show.

Some even suggested renaming the organisation as the WAFTAs, the Woke Academy of Film and Television Arts.

The academy this year produced its most diverse lineup of winners in its history, honouring TV shows dealing with race, politics and sexuality.

Several of the hotly tipped picks including Normal People’s Paul Mescal and the Michaela Coel drama 1 May Destroy You picked up gongs to huge celebrations from supporters.

But other parts of the ceremony brought the wrath of viewers with the BBC who were broadcasting and BAFTA in the firing line.

Several people criticised Diversity’s win of the ‘Must see moment’ for their questionable BLM themed dance on Britain’s Got Talent, which sparked 24,000 complaints.

Officials were accused of pursuing a woke, political agenda when they first shortlisted the dance for the Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment Award.

One viewer wrote: ‘Up for a BAFTA award for being on their knees in support of BLM. Welcome to woke great Britain.’

Another added: ‘Must-see TV moment well that’s a shock, I don’t think. BBC is woke personified.’

Viewers were also left wincing over the ceremony’s host Richard Ayoade’s jokes, although the comedian is believed to have been hit by some technical problems.

The show took place at London’s Television Centre with stringent COVID 19 regulations in place, meaning a much-reduced audience to react to Richard Ayoade’s gags.

But delays in the communication systems meant that he was also left waiting several seconds before getting any laughs for his jokes, leading to a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere.

One viewer tweeted: ‘This feels so… empty. I know it’s because there’s not a lot of people there but the atmosphere seems so off and awkward.’

Richard Ayoade even quipped about the circumstances himself, saying at one point that in just two weeks, the national lockdown may be lifted, but why wait until then to have this show? And that he liked things with no atmosphere, and as the audience roared and applauded, he replied: ‘Thank you, it’s good to wait three minutes to show any signs of appreciation.’

He then made a jibe about the virtual audience made up of members of the public.

The only way to free our lives from blatant brainwashing is to bin the TV and stop paying BBC licence fees, but perhaps we should let them have the BAFTAs, we can always tune into something else.

But this was all political drivel, not entertainment, and if they want to express themselves politically, they should get a job in government, and the British people shouldn’t have to be lectured in their own living rooms.

And there was a clear agenda last night, the same agenda that’s being pushed down our gullets, and ceremonies and shows like this are no longer of any interest to the great silent majority, and slowly, but surely countless people in this country are turning off their TV’s as there’s little worth watching.

And it wasn’t diverse at all, and we shouldn’t have diversity in any way. We are human beings, not races, and it’s about time we all understood that, and people should win or go forward on their own merit and nothing else.

It shouldn’t matter what colour your skin is, it’s what kind of person you are that defines the sort of person you are, and as for taking to the knee, that should only be reserved for the Queen, and most of these stars get paid way more than they’re worth, which is by far reward enough without getting a BAFTA.

Huge Drop In Vaccinations

Plunging vaccination rates are threatening President Joe Biden’s goal to have 70 per cent of American adults get their first COVID 19 shot by Independence Day.

A news outlet reported that less than 500,000 adults are now being vaccinated each day, down from a peak of 3.4 million in April.

Currently, 51.5 per cent of Americans or 170.8 million people have got their first COVID 19 vaccine. That number includes adults and also children over twelve who are eligible for the shot. When calculating only adults, 63.5 per cent have had at least one jab.

To reach the 70 per cent goal by July 4, 16 million more adults will need to have their first shot in the next 28 days.

According to the publication, that’s now going to be a remarkably difficult task, with officials missing preliminary targets by about two million doses last week.

A news outlet reported that there are only 2.4 million adults who got their first shots last week. Officials calculated that numbers need to be 4.2 million a week to meet Joe Biden’s July 4 goal.

The news outlet reported that the slowdown was throughout the US and that every state’s vaccination rates were down by at least two thirds since their peaks. The South, especially, is pulling down national numbers.

Alabama, for example, has only 36.2 per cent of its adult residents receive their first dose of the vaccine, and last week the state had only four people per 10,000 residents getting vaccinated.

Most states on the East and West coasts, however, are surging ahead of expectations.

Thirteen states, including Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, have already vaccinated 70 per cent of adults.

Several others, including New York, California and Oregon, have already had close to 60 per cent of adults get their first vaccine dose and will likely reach Joe Biden’s target.

To get 16 million more Americans to roll up their sleeves, the president has announced incentives including complimentary Anheuser Busch beer for 200,000 people and a visit to the White House.

Other states have attempted stunts like lotteries for cash rewards.

Additionally, pharmacies that have teamed up with the White House will be open for 24 hours on specific days and centres will be offering free childcare for parents.

Late last week, TODAY host Savannah Guthrie asked CDC Director Dr Rochelle Walensky if the current pace of vaccinations was enough to hit the president’s target or if a push was required to increase the daily numbers.

But is this unexpected fall in vaccinations because people are now not prepared to endanger their health on an experimental drug that was rushed to the market, to circumvent a bogeyman virus, and until now there have been far too many sheep in the world who were too idle to look into things a little closer and believed everything the media told them, and now there’s just a lack of trust, and there seems to be something sinister and obscure about the entire thing.

And why would people trust their lives with an untested vaccine? And perhaps people don’t want to be guinea pigs.

And why are they so desperate with this hard sell push?

Those that wanted the vaccine went and got the vaccine, but they’ve not even been proven to be effective. You can still get the virus – you can still spread the virus, so it seems somewhat pointless – like masks.

But people are waking up because people will never be completely vaccinated – it will be booster after booster for the rest of your life, and the government will restrict your liberties if you don’t comply.

The vaccine is available, but some people are choosing not to get vaccinated, and Joe Biden based his projection on cooperation from the people, but you can’t make people do what they don’t want to do.

Why Have Americans Stopped Wearing Seatbelts?

The number of people killed after being involved in a car crash while not wearing their seat belt soared by twenty per cent last year, even though the roads were much quieter because of COVID.

A recently released National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report recorded that there were 6,052 deaths caused by ejections in 2020 but just 5,059 in 2019, an increase of twenty per cent, and there were 18,685 deaths not caused by ejections in 2020 but 19,289 in 2019, an increase of only three per cent.

It also noted that there were 11,883 deaths of people not wearing seatbelts in 2020 but only 10,369 in 2019, an increase of 15 per cent. The number of deaths amongst people wearing seatbelts went down three per cent from 11,844 deaths in 2019 to 11,512 in 2020.

The federal agency noted that the percentage of unrestrained passengers deaths increased from March, when lockdown measures went into effect, through December. The biggest spike occurred in April when unbelted passengers made up 55 per cent of traffic mortality, opposed to just 45 per cent in 2019.

The report also drilled into other measurements of traffic deaths in 2020, including that fatal accidents rose by eleven per cent at night, and fatal accidents involving speeding were up to eleven per cent and police-reported collisions involving alcohol were up nine per cent.

Fatal accidents among younger age groups were all up at least 14 per cent while fatal accidents amongst people 65 and older were down nine per cent, perhaps a factor of the pandemic as many amongst the elderly was restricted to their homes.

In perhaps another effect of the pandemic, the federal agency noted that there was an increase in the fatality rate per 100 million vehicle miles travelled on rural roads and urban roads, especially last April as people escaped cities.

Last month, the Governors Highway Safety Association also released a report detailing pedestrian-related deaths during 2020, which it said was the largest yearly increase since it began collecting the data decades ago.

The association reported that pedestrian mortality in 2020 rose by 21 per cent from 2019, noting that another factor was the rising shift in US vehicle sales away from passenger vehicles to light trucks.

Data from the Federal Highway Administration notes that travel on all roads and streets in the country fell for each month of 2020 at least 8.6 per cent compared to 2019.

The biggest traffic reductions were last April when road traffic dropped 39.8 per cent and May when it fell 25.5 per cent. The data shows traffic was beginning to return as lockdown measures were lifted, with traffic rising 19 per cent from last March, the onset of the pandemic.

Maybe they should make vehicles that don’t go past 45 mph, then deaths from vehicular accidents will shoot down, and then at least people won’t be able to shriek and complain that they can’t go 100 mph in a school zone.

And it appears that just like everything else, common sense has gone out of the window – pardon the pun because if you don’t wear a seatbelt and you do have an accident, that’s precisely what would happen.

A seat belt might leave you with a painful shoulder or even a broken shoulder if you were in a crash with another vehicle, but at least a person or persons could deal with that, rather than going through the windscreen like superman!

Statistics show conclusively that seat belts save lives, and education is the key to demonstrate the real advantages of seat belts – rules are there for a reason, but people do flout them at their own peril.

The problem is people get complacent, given all the safety features on today’s vehicles, and they seem to believe that all these features negate having to wear a seat belt but they don’t, and it doesn’t matter how many airbags, crash assist, anti-lock brakes or auto drive a vehicle has, a seat belt is the most important thing to keep a person protected.

William And Kate To Save The Union

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge may be required to spend more time in Scotland under plans reportedly drawn up by palace officials to bolster the Union, and according to a news outlet, Kate and William would spend more time at Balmoral, in light of growing support for Scottish independence after the Scottish National Party’s landslide victory in the Holyrood election last month.

The report says that the couple would also strengthen relations with their former university town of St Andrews if the proposals go ahead.

The report comes only days after the couple’s tour of Scotland in which William said the country was so important to himself and his wife, and on the closing day of their visit, William and Kate secured a meeting with Gordon Brown who’s recently launched a renewed campaign to preserve the Union.

The couple sat down for discussions with the former prime minister and his wife Sarah at the Queen’s official Edinburgh home, and later William gave a deeply personal goodbye address as his week-long tour drew to a close, explaining how Scotland had shaped him and honouring its people and values.

The debate over Scottish independence has increased after the Scottish National Party’s landslide victory in the Holyrood election in May, which also produced the largest pro-independence majority in the Parliament in the history of devolution.

Boris Johnson has since stood by his pre-election stance, maintaining the focus should be on the recovery from COVID 19 and not on another independence referendum.

Last month, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said that during his time in Scotland, Prince William has spoken to a wide array of people from various communities including politicians from across the political rainbow.

The Duke sat down for discussions with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and further met with Alistair Carmichael, Liberal Democrat MP for Orkney and Shetland.

Shortly after the Holyrood election, Gordon Brown announced his Our Scottish Future think tank which will become a campaigning movement, endeavouring to appeal to middle Scotland, for those who aren’t entrenched in their positions on the union or independence.

Gordon Brown, who played a fundamental position in the No campaign during the 2014 vote, has said those in middle Scotland are patriots, not nationalists who want to see greater interaction between the UK’s governments.

Ahead of the Scottish independence referendum in 2014 the Queen reportedly said she hoped voters would think carefully about the future, and perhaps William and Kate are the ideal couple to inspire and unite, after all, they met in Scotland and have extremely close links and amazing memories of this wonderful place.

Although numerous couples have also met in Scotland, but you don’t see the world handing them a plate of silver because of that, so what makes theirs so special than the rest? But it’s delightful to see the Monarchy showing that Scotland and the Union are important, but in the end, it will be down to the Scottish people.

But inspiring and uniting, not sure that’s going to happen, or maybe it might have the opposite effect, after all, what do they have to contribute – two people standing, waving and looking attractive isn’t the solution to anything.

The monarchy is a credit to no one but the upper echelons of society, and it’s really sad that proles are so brainwashed they’re incapable of seeing this, and this is an extremely greedy, costly institution that should have been abolished a long time ago.

And if William wants to be involved in Scottish politics, perhaps he should run for public office so he has a legitimate platform for his advocacies, and whilst we’re at it, perhaps people should be given a vote on whether they want these unelected royals to represent them, and waste their taxpayers’ money on.
