If You Believe The United Kingdom Isn’t Crooked, You Haven’t Looked Hard Enough

Fear, humiliation, shame, these brakes no longer apply. The Government has found that it can bluster through any scandal.

No minister needs to resign. No minister needs to apologise. No one needs to explain.

And as public fury grows over the billions of pounds of coronavirus contracts issued by the Government without competition, it appears determined only to grant more of them.

Never mind that the consulting company Deloitte, whose personnel circulate in and out of Government, has been deeply criticised for the ruinous system it created to provide protective equipment to the NHS. It has now been given a huge new contract to test the population for COVID 19.

Never mind that some of these contracts have reportedly cost taxpayers £800 for every protective overall delivered. Never mind that at least two multi-million pound contracts seem to have been allocated to dormant companies.

Awarding contracts to unusual companies, without advertising, transparency or competition now seems to have been adopted as the norm and several of the firms that have benefited from this largess are closely linked to senior figures in the Government.

Every week, Boris Johnson looks more like George I, under whose Government vast fortunes were made by political favourites, through monopoly contracts for military procurement.

Any facade of fiscal rectitude or democratic accountability has been abandoned – with four more years and the support of the billionaire press, who cares.

The way the Government manages public money looks like an open invitation to corruption and while it’s difficult to ascertain that any particular deal is dishonest, the framework under which this money is dispensed invites the perception.

When you connect the words’ corruption and the United Kingdom, people tend to react with surprise and outrage because corruption is something we believe happens abroad.

Indeed, if you check the rankings published by Transparency International or the Basel Institute, the United Kingdom looks like one of the world’s most pristine countries, but this is a relic of the narrow criteria they use.

Thievery by officials in more impoverished countries amounts to between $20 billion and $40 billion a year. That’s a ton of cash and it harms well being and democracy in those countries.

But this figure is impeded by the illegal flow of money from impoverished and middling countries that are managed by multinational companies and banks and the US research group Global Financial Integrity calculated that $1.1 trillion a year flows illegally out of more impoverished nations, robbed from them through tax evasion and the transfer of money within corporations.

The Corporate Tax Haven Index published by the Tax Justice Network reveals that the three countries that have done most to promote these thefts are the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.

All of them are British territories and Jersey, a British dependency, came seventh on the list and these places are effectively satellites of the City of London, but because they’re overseas, the City can benefit from shady activities, while letting the British Government maintain distance when scandals emerge.

The City of London’s extraordinary exemption from the UK’s freedom of information laws creates an additional ring of secretiveness and it furthermore seems that the United Kingdom is the money laundering capital of the world.

Boris Johnson Argues Bill Breaking International Law Is Essential

Boris Johnson told Tory MPs that a proposed bill that contravenes international law is absolutely essential to stop the break up of our country.

The Prime Minister made the comments to Conservative politicians through a video link as he debated the controversial UK Internal Markets Bill.

Boris Johnson said the ruling, which will override parts of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement, was needed to end EU threats to establish a blockade in the Irish Sea and to prevent a foreign force from breaking up our country.

The Prime Minister said Brussels could carve up our country and seriously threaten peace and stability in Northern Ireland if Conservative MPs rebel to stop his Bill.

The all-hands virtual meeting was called as backbench opposition to his plans threatened to develop into a full-scale rebellion, but the video conference call was overrun by technical problems, with the Prime Minister’s connection dropping out completely at one point, leaving about 250 MPs waiting for him to rejoin the call, and he told MPs there would be no time for them to ask questions at the conference.

Boris Johnson, furthermore wrote in a media outlet that they’re now hearing that unless they agree to the EU’s terms, the EU will use an extreme interpretation of the Northern Ireland protocol to impose a full-scale trade border down the Irish Sea.

And that they’re being informed that the EU will not only set taxes on goods moving from Great Britain to Northern Ireland but that they might actually prevent the transport of food products from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.

But Boris Johnson stated that he never seriously thought that the EU would be willing to use a Treaty, negotiated in good faith, to blockade one part of the United Kingdom, to cut it off, or that they would even threaten to obliterate the economic and territorial integrity of the United Kingdom.

And he said in the last few weeks he’s learnt that his intermediaries had found there may have been a profound misunderstanding about the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement he signed in October.

Boris Johnson asserted it was agreed during torrid days with the deadline for an agreement fast approaching while negotiating with one hand bound behind their backs because Parliament blocked a no-deal.

He said that if they fail to pass this bill, or if they deplete its protections then they will, in fact, lower the odds of getting that Canada style deal, and he said: “Let’s remove this danger to the very fabric of the United Kingdom so that they can make the EU take their threats off the table”.

Unfortunately, Boris Johnson violates international laws every time he opens his mouth.

He’s a typical rich boy who only cares about himself because he wants to be in control and he’s let down this country, and because of him some students will never be permitted to study in Europe again and nobody will ever believe again that England is a trustworthy nation.

But at the end of the day, both sides are playing games, banging the drums before the last battle, trying to get the best deal possible.

Unfortunately, for Boris Johnson, he doesn’t appear to have done anything right in his life and his addresses are littered with total incompetence and it’s surprising that the man can even tie his own shoelaces.

And every day brings more evidence of the profound duplicity of the mega-rich Tories who exploited the masses to vote for Brexit. Yes, we were all duped by the Tories and their wealthy mates and when it all goes belly up, which it will, they will all go and live in their second homes somewhere – nothing much will change for them, it will be the rest of us that will suffer for generations to come.

Pubs With Six Mates

So, now Boris Johnson is banning crowds of 6 people, not that it will make any difference, I’m sure, but anything for the economy! But we’ve got to get our children back into their brainwashing camps because we need to put them back in their place.

And even more so now, groups have begun filling up with more conspiracy theorists, but are we really taking our children to school to learn or are they actually being brainwashed, to do as they’re told and to follow directives? And of course, if they do as they’re told they’ll be rewarded.

Maybe it’s not brainwashing, who knows, but it is a lousy education system and to be fair, the British education system is extremely outdated and modelled on the concept of creating workers over educating people.

It’s not exactly a brainwashing camp, but compared to some of the education methods found in mainland Europe it definitely falls short.

Perhaps it’s more of a matter of the economy can’t get back to full steam when the children aren’t at school because parents have to stay home with their children instead of working, but surprise, surprise, it’s profit at the expense of health yet again.

Of course, people wanted to get their children back to school, but what they don’t realise is that’s what will cause the 2nd wave, and what part of dying for the economy don’t people comprehend?

So, now Boris Johnson has said no gatherings of more than six people, but it’s alright for children to sit in a classroom of approximately 32 students. There were no restrictions for them – it was go back to school or be fined. It just doesn’t make much sense, but then, nothing that Boris Johnson does ever makes much sense.

Student Gloats About Going To A Party After Testing Positive For Coronavirus

A young woman who bragged about going partying despite testing positive for coronavirus has sparked an inquiry at a US university.

Texas Tech University is investigating complaints about a student who broadcasted a video of herself partying despite apparently having COVID 19.

The video broadcasting on social media displays an unknown young woman filming herself gloating about having the virus, which is ravaging the United States.

In the expletive-ridden clip, she can be heard to say that she has COVID and that the whole world has it.

The University’s Dean of Students tweeted this week that they’d received a report and were aware of the video related to COVID and that the matter was being handled by the Office of the Dean of Students and Student Conduct.

In the footage, which has been drawing fury, she shoots a selfie mode as she addresses the camera at what seems to be a bustling bash.

The woman says: “Everyone’s like ‘don’t you have COVID? Don’t you literally have COVID?’

“Yes, I f***ing have COVID. The whole world has COVID.”

She then flips the camera which appears to show the party she’s attending as she scans a large outdoor space alive with young people.

She continues: “All of these people have COVID. So stop getting on my tip, stop getting on my tip. Like, I’m having a good time.”

The identity of the young woman and whether she attends Texas Tech University as a student has not been established, and it’s not apparent whether she had a confirmed case of COVID 19.

Twitter user Taylor Smith posted a copy of the clip online, reporting that this is what’s happening at Texas Tech.

“Side note, I do not know this girl but she was brave enough to post this for others to see! If you are selfish like this with no regards for others safety, f*** off!”

Writing from her account @tayylorcsmith, she claimed she had reported the video to the woman’s sorority at the university, and the Dean of Students.

Some saw no problem with the woman who filmed the clip’s activities, likening it to a ‘chickenpox party’, saying if all the attendees had the virus they didn’t risk spreading it to each other.

Many were disgusted by the claims of the woman in the footage, saying she was spreading coronavirus with impunity by mixing in public areas when she should have been isolating.

She looks like a true winner – her parents must be so proud of her and if you’re going to be that dumb, at least don’t do it in front of the camera.

And if she does have it, which she likely doesn’t, then she should have more consideration for those that have had to spend months on a ventilator, many of which have died – this virus is not a joke.

However, I do agree with her on the whole world has COVID because COVID 19 was here way before the case of extraordinary phenomena was reported in Wuhan, China, and by the time we did identify the unusual phenomena called COVID 19, four billion people already had it.

But that doesn’t mean that you have impunity forever like smallpox, measles, and polio.

Immunity lasts for three months and even if you have COVID 19 and you don’t show any symptoms and get through recovery, you developed antibodies, however, immunity only lasts for three months, thus making you vulnerable again.

Boris Johnson’s Plan For ‘Moonshot’ Coronavirus Tests

Boris Johnson’s ‘moonshot’ plan for mass coronavirus tests that don’t exist could cost £100 billion, leaked documents declare.

The Prime Minister wants up to 10 million rapid tests handed to employees each day, which could cover the whole population in a week. But its cost would be larger than the entire annual defence or education budget and nearly as much as NHS spending in a year.

Last night the Prime Minister stated he was striving for a system where millions of Brits would get rapid tests before heading off to work, but his own scientific advisors poured cold water on the scheme, warning that the technology isn’t available and it’s not a slam dunk.

Now papers leaked to the British Medical Journal and the Guardian contend the scheme would have an immense price tag.

The paper, allegedly an official document, says ‘Operation Moonshot’ is the Prime Minister’s only hope for dodging a second national lockdown.

It adds that the expectation is that this would need about 6 million tests per day and that it would cost over £100 billion to deliver and that SAGE is presently modelling the possible impact of such a programme on R, and the Treasury is doing the same for the economy.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps today revealed the technology does not yet exist, and he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme that it isn’t here now, and that was the whole point of a moonshot.

The Prime Minister spelt out the plans at last night’s No 10 press conference as he confirmed it will be illegal to meet in groups of more than six people, and he said in the near future that they want to begin using testing to identify people who are negative, who don’t have coronavirus and who are not infectious so that they can allow them to behave in a more normal way.

And he stated that he hoped and believed that new types of tests which were easy, fast and scalable would become available and that they use swabs or saliva and can turn round results in 90 or even 20 minutes.

He continued that crucially, it could be possible to deploy these tests on a far larger scale than any country has yet accomplished, and that literally millions of tests could be processed every single day.

The scheme could see Brits get a test result with their morning cup of tea before they head off to work, but Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said the technology was not yet available, warning he should not put a date on when it would be because that’s not how science works.

Clearly, Boris Johnson is off to Button Moon in the morning where he will administrate millions of pounds of taxpayers money into something that will never transpire or ever exist.

Yet we keep getting told that this Government isn’t a money tree, but now this present Government seems to have found one – they must have been planting them in secret while the rest of us taxpayers were sleeping because what is certain is, the taxpayer will have to pay it back.

Jacob Rees-Mogg Self-Isolating

Jacob Rees-Mogg is self-isolating after one of his children displayed signs of COVID 19.

The child is understood to be awaiting results of a coronavirus test.

However, the Tory Commons Leader was scheduled to appear for the weekly Business Questions session in the House this morning, but instead, Deputy Chief Whip Stuart Andrew arrived in his place and explained that Jacob Rees-Mogg was in quarantine with his family.

He stated that a member of the Leader of the House’s household was awaiting a COVID test result after having been symptomatic and that the Leader was, therefore, self-isolating with his family, so he had the good fortune to be invited to respond.

Jacob Rees-Mogg wrote on Twitter: “Many thanks to Stuart Andrew for standing in for me at business questions.

“One of my children was tested for Covid-19 last weekend after displaying symptoms.

“In accordance with Government guidance, the household has been in self-isolation while we await the test result.”

Labour’s Shadow Commons Leader Valerie Vaz said that they all wished the Leader of the House and the entire Rees-Mog family well, and they knew that it had to be something very serious for him not to be there.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, who’s been MP North East Somerset, has been married to Helena De Chair since 2007.

The couple have six children, Peter, Mary, Thomas, Anselm, Alfred and Sixtus. They also have a nanny, Veronica Crook, who has worked and lived with the family for more than 50 years, and looked after Jacob Rees-Mogg when he was a child.

SNP Commons leader Tommy Sheppard quipped that he would miss being patronised in the flesh by Jacob Rees-Mogg and the MP for Edinburgh East has contributed remotely to proceedings on several occasions during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Sheppard told the Commons: “Can I also wish the Leader of the House and his family well. I can hardly hide my disappointment at his absence.

“After five long months of my own absence from this chamber, and sometimes problematic communication through the virtual proceedings, I have been looking forward to being patronised in the flesh rather than over the internet.”

However, will we even notice that Jacob Rees-Mogg is isolating? Has anyone actually seen him in recent months? And how many of the Tory party have been missing in action recently?

Scientists Can’t Explain Baffling Lack Of Coronavirus Outbreaks In Africa

The novel coronavirus has contaminated more than 26.35 million people, with just four countries accounting for over 15 million cases.

They’re America, Brazil, India and Russia, the same four that have been at the top for months.

The US stunned the world when it climbed to the top spot in multiple COVID 19 statistics, both for the total number of documented cases and the number of deaths – since then, no other country has overtaken America.

Africa reported its millionth official COVID 19 case last month and it appears to have survived the pandemic moderately well so far, with fewer than one confirmed case for every thousand people and just 23,000 deaths so far.

After testing more than 3000 blood donors, it was estimated in a preprint that one in 20 Kenyans aged 15 to 64, or 1.6 million people has antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, an indication of past infection.

That would put Kenya on a par with Spain in mid-May when that country was descending from its coronavirus peak and had 27,000 official COVID 19 deaths. Kenya’s official toll stood at 100 when the study concluded, and Kenya’s hospitals were not reporting massive numbers of people with COVID 19 symptoms.

Further antibody studies in Africa have yielded similarly startling findings.

From a survey of 500 asymptomatic health care workers in Blantyre, Malawi, immunologist Kondwani Jambo of the Malawi-Liverpool Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Programme and coworkers concluded that up to 12.3 per cent of them had been exposed to the coronavirus.

Based on those findings and mortality ratios for COVID 19 elsewhere, they calculated that the reported number of casualties in Blantyre at the time 17, was eight times lower than anticipated.

Scientists who studied about 10,000 people in the northeastern cities of Nampula and Pemba in Mozambique discovered antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in 3 per cent to 10 per cent of participants, depending on their profession. Market traders had the highest rates, followed by health workers.

Yet in Nampula, a municipality of about 750,000, a sheer 300 infections had been confirmed at the time.

Mozambique only had 16 confirmed COVID 19 deaths.

Yap Boum, a microbiologist and epidemiologist with Epicentre Africa, the research and training arm of Doctors Without Borders, said he discovered a high preponderance of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in people from Cameroon as well, a result that remained unpublished.

So what explains the enormous gap between antibody data on the one hand and the official case and death counts on the other?

Part of the reason may be that Africa misses many more cases than other regions of the world because it has far less testing capacity.

Kenya tests approximately one in every 10,000 inhabitants every day for active SARS-CoV-2 infections, one-tenth of the rate in Spain or Canada.

Nigeria, the continent’s most populous country, tests one out of every 50,000 people per day and many people who die from COVID 19 may not get a proper diagnosis. But in that case, you would expect an overall rise in mortality, which Kenya has not seen.

Maybe it’s because they have a robust immune system as a result of exposure to different illnesses, such as malaria, their diet, the environment and numerous other factors that seem to work for Africa in terms of COVID 19?

Or perhaps it’s more to do with inadequate infrastructure, the movement of people is small and the number of people flying is small and getting from one major metropolis to another is only embarked by the few?

Helen McCourt’s Mother Ordered To Pay Killer £40,000 Legal Fees

Ian Simms was imprisoned in 1989 for the killing of 22-year-old Helen McCourt on Merseyside and has never disclosed where her body was hidden.

The court ruled that the money raised through Marie McCourt’s crowdfunding page would be used to cover expenses.

Marie McCourt has campaigned for a law which would deny parole to killers who refuse to reveal the location of their victim’s body, said that it seems unfair that she has to pay Ian Simms costs but that’s what happened.

She said that she was thankful to all the people who donated to the fundraising page and Marie McCourt added that criminals get legal aid and people like herself who are ordinary people don’t have that sort of money to take it to High Court.

They only thing they can do is go to a GoFundMe and thank God they did give her that. However, David Lammy, Shadow Lord Chancellor and Shadow Secretary of State for Justice tweeted that it was completely wrong for the family of Helen McCourt to be forced to pay a penny of the legal costs of the man who killed her daughter.

And he continued that the Government should acknowledge the extremely tragic circumstances here and use some common sense.

High Court judges refused to order a reexamination of Ian Simms’ release and said a Parole Board decision involved no arguable public law error, but Marie McCourt said the law doesn’t acknowledge how heartbreaking it is for families of loved ones whose bodies have not been found.

She said that she’s been going out searching for her daughter’s body for 33 years and the Government and the laws don’t seem to comprehend how heartbreaking this all is.

Families should have the right to know that when these killers are caught, if they refuse to say where their victim’s remains are hidden or what they did with them, at least let the families know.

And Marie McCourt said that they should have to show remorse before they can ever be considered for release.

A bill denying parole to killers who refuse to reveal a body’s location, known as Helen’s Law, cleared the Commons in March but it came too late to stop Ian Simms being released.

Parole should never be an option for a killer who won’t tell the police where their victim’s body is, and if they want to conceal that information for their own sick desires then they should have to deal with the consequences.

I can’t understand how a Parole Board came to the decision that Ian Simms met the criteria for his release.

He failed on two basic counts. Firstly he’d never admitted his guilt and he claims to be innocent and secondly, as a result of that, he’s not demonstrated any remorse for his crime.

This was an outrageous decision seeming to have been hurried through by the Parole Board intentionally to beat the passing of Helen’s Law, which would have almost definitely kept him in jail.

What price do we have to pay for justice? Where is the justice? Marie McCourt not only faces never knowing where her daughter’s body is but faces having to pay money into an immoral system to an immoral man and murderers should never be allowed to walk free when they decline to reveal the whereabouts of their victims and this is a perverse ruling.

Fears Mount That Millions Will Have Their Minimum Wage Rise Cancelled

Downing Street said it had no plans to pull the brake on the next minimum wage rise in April 2021 but added a pretty big caveat.

Fears have been raised that millions of workers could lose out on a planned increase in the National Minimum Wage because of damage done to the economy by COVID 19.

Reports began circulating on Sunday that Chancellor Rishi Sunak might not introduce the rise from £8.72 to £9.21 per hour in April, as a result of damage done by the pandemic.

A target had been set by the Chancellor that would see the National Living Wage – the minimum salary for over 25s increased to the equivalent of two-thirds of the country’s median earnings by 2024.

The promise to increase the rate also highlighted massively in the Tory manifesto at the last election, but confronted about the report, Downing Street refused to confirm the next rise will definitely happen as intended.

No 10 said the government still intended to introduce the move, but added a very important caveat, saying it was originally planned if economic conditions permitted.

The official spokesperson for Boris Johnson inquired about reports that the Treasury was contemplating pulling an emergency brake on the policy and said that he was not aware of any change to that situation.

However, he added at the Spring Budget, the Government reinforced its commitment to an ambitious target for the National Living Wage to reach two-thirds of median earnings by 2024, provided that economic conditions permit.

He continued that in terms of the latest set of recommendations from the Low Pay Commission for 2021, which they haven’t seen yet, that he didn’t believe they were expected to receive them until the autumn.

Britain’s economic conditions have changed dramatically in the last few months, as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic.

The UK’s headline unemployment rate has lingered at 3.9 per cent since the lockdown was introduced thanks to the furlough scheme, but the Bank of England expects the rate to increase to 7.5 per cent by the end of the year as government-funded support schemes come to an end.

Shadow Exchequer Secretary Wes Streeting said those who had worked to keep the country going through the pandemic needed to be compensated.

He stated that when COVID 19 hit, some of the country’s lowest-paid workers had just gone through the longest wage squeeze in two centuries and that they should be compensated for operating round the clock to keep people safe and not made to pay the price for the recovery.

And it seems that these Tories certainly know how to use the coronavirus as it suits them – minimum wage, what’s next? But I’m sure that these MPs will get their annual salary hike, now at £80,000, plus their other business interests and the minimum wage days are numbered under the Tories and COVID 19 and Brexit will be condemned for putting unnecessary pressure on businesses.

Lockdown Truth: Man Pepper-Sprayed For Refusing To Wear A Face Mask

Repulsive footage revealed the moment a father of five, Anthony Baldwin, was pepper-sprayed and arrested by police after refusing to wear a face-covering on public transport. He explains why he’s exempt.

The father of five has insisted he’s exempt from wearing a face mask in public amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and he said he’s innocent after police pepper-sprayed him and arrested him.

Anthony Baldwin, 34, was approached by a British Transport Police officer while on a train at Lime Street Station in Liverpool on Wednesday.

Footage of the arrest has gone viral, with many appalled to see the man pepper-sprayed and arrested when the conflict between the roofer and the officer became fraught and the video showed Anthony Baldwin insist he was ‘exempt’ from needing to wear a mask on public transport and he was seen arguing with the officer when he ordered him to wear a face covering.

Anthony Baldwin alleges he didn’t need to wear a face-covering because he suffers from anxiety and panic attacks.

In the video, the policeman dragged his top over his head and you could actually hear him yelling.

Anthony Baldwin said that he began suffering from severe anxiety following the death of his father five years ago. He further said he suffered a panic attack when he was in the back of the police van and says he manages his anxiety with medication.

He went on to claim he spent three hours in hospital following Wednesday’s incident and said he sustained an injury to the head during the tense arrest. He also alleged he refused to get off the train on Wednesday as he was on his way to an appointment at the time British Transport Police approached him.

Official government guidance does spotlight anxiety as one of the conditions that would make someone exempt from wearing a face-covering on public transport and the government website says that the public are asked to be mindful of people who are exempt from wearing a face covering.

The list of exemptions, which has been in place since face coverings became mandatory on public transport, includes hidden conditions such as anxiety or panic disorders, autism, breathing conditions, dementia, reduced eyesight or if you’re with someone who relies on lip-reading to communicate.

Face coverings became compulsory on public transport in the United Kingdom in June, with penalties of £100 for those who refused to obey the rules, unless exempt.

It’s believed that Anthony Baldwin was arrested for threatening conduct and assault of an officer following Wednesday’s incident. However, all the police officer had to do is issue Mr Baldwin with a fine, which he could have appealed against – there was no need for the police officer to apprehend this man, all he had to do was inform him that if he didn’t wear a face-covering he would be issued with a fine.

The incident occurred at about 3.20 pm on Wednesday 2 September, when officers had responded to a report of a man coughing at two passengers.

A news outlet reported that Anthony Baldwin, of Little Sutton, will appear at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on January 6, accused of threatening conduct and assault, no mention of the face-covering though or a fine.

This is the beginnings of a totalitarian state, so are they now going to ignore the Equality Act, spray mace in the face and attack everyone who’s exempt?

First, they go after the sick and disabled, then the minorities and then anyone who speaks out against it, and if you tolerate this, then your children will be next, and people need to understand that it starts with small obedience so that eventually they can take control of other elements of your life.

And if you look very closely at the video footage you will also see that there was another young man sitting there with no mask on either, so why did they pick on just this one guy, when another young guy was sitting without a face covering, yet they didn’t say anything to him?

This is ultimately the beginning of a totalitarian state and this is fascism and whether they’re a private company or not, the fact that people can be refused service due to whether they have complied in an act of which is back by such little scientific proof for a so-called pandemic is utterly ludicrous.

Now it all starts to unveil and we must stand up for our rights, which was what this man was attempting to do and it explicitly states that if wearing a face-covering causes you severe anxiety, you will be exempt and who are we to define which person does or does not suffer from severe distress from a face covering?

We have no idea what traumatic history a person has suffered and we have no right to challenge them under the Equality Act 2010.

Anthony Baldwin refused to leave the train, yet he explicitly stated to the police officer that he was exempt because he had an underlying health condition and that he was exempt by law – ‘the law’, the very thing the police are supposed to uphold, but this police officer blatantly disregarded that ‘law’ and abused his power to a very large extent.

And why is this man in the wrong? Because he’s exempt because he didn’t explain the reason why he was exempt, or for not getting off the train, or was it for protesting against being attacked by the police officer? Where do we draw the line here? And would it also be okay to do this to someone who was Autistic?

What the Police Officer should have done was to sit down next to him and talk to him like a normal human being to find out why he was exempt, that way the officer would have found out why he was exempt and could have dealt with the situation accordingly, instead, he just bounded in there all guns blazing so that he could assert his authority.

This Police Officer overstepped his powers and ended up creating a public disorder. The Police Officer didn’t arrest him or detain him until other Police Officers arrived, but he did attack him and that’s Common Assault.

And according to the government website, there’s no requirement to carry any evidence that you have a disability of any kind. So, basically, anyone can say they’re exempt, so what’s the point of anyone wearing a face covering?

Where will the madness end? What are the Government going to say next? That we have to wear a mask at all times, even in one’s home or even during sex, where is the madness going to stop?

There are around 700,000 autistic people in the United Kingdom, that’s more than 1 in 100 and if someone with Autism had been approached by a Police Officer they would probably react in the same way Anthony Baldwin did, and this bothers me considerably.

This is what’s happening in our society now – poor disabled souls being abused by mask-wearing monsters and it’s a disgrace how these poor souls are being treated like freaks and this is causing a lot of friction within the general public and before you know it the police will be dealing with more assaults on disabled people that have in fact done nothing wrong.

This policeman outside of the police has absolutely no authority over anyone or anything – the uniform is his life but when he’s wearing civvie clothes, he’s a nobody and you should be innocent until proven guilty.

Most people are courteous and thoughtful but the minority such as the police are offensive and intimidating and the British Transport policeman’s response was horrifying. The policeman was out of order and he aggravated the situation with more germs and his actions were not fitting for the position that he holds.

The policeman clearly could have done better and you could clearly see civilians on the train complaining about his actions and the policeman reacted with ego more than attempting to implement the law and it was all really badly handled.

Some people can manage with masks, some suffer from COPD and can’t. Other people suffer from claustrophobia and feel stifled when their face is masked, but I suppose everyone is entitled to comment – the next thing it will be is that if you can’t wear a face mask, then stay indoors.

There are numerous people out there that can’t wear masks and don’t have a letter from their doctor (have you seen how much they charge for a letter?) And had it been another person with breathing difficulties such as asthma or lung disease they’d probably be in the hospital right now from being hauled about and this Police Officer should have called for assistance earlier than he did.

So, what are we going to have Concentration Camps for people refusing to wear a mask – Orwellian State here we come.

Unfortunately, we can only comment on what we can see in the video – there was nothing mentioned about spitting, in this case, all the Police Officer was going on about was not wearing a face mask.

And now the public are in fear which tends to lead to exaggeration and people are not thinking straight. You only have to cough and other people start treating you like a pariah and run for the hills in sheer panic – this fear is being thrust upon us and it’s changing the environment that we live in and it’s wrong on every level.

The Police Officer had plenty of options, but instead, he chose to overreact, but somehow now we’re not allowed to cough on a train, but it’s not against the law to do so, and nobody is allowed to ask you why you’re exempt.

Evidently, Anthony Baldwin spat on someone, however, that was not filmed and at no point did the Police Officer communicate this to the man, only about not being masked up and yet he took it upon himself to escalate the incident to brutality and did not wait for his colleagues to arrive – this fiasco didn’t need to happen.

The police don’t turn up that fast for domestic violence, but see how fast they’ll turn up if you’re not wearing a face mask just so that they can get a potential kick out of it and to deny one service because they’re not wearing a mask is discrimination which is a culpable crime.

The law state that if you have any ailment that causes you distress when wearing a mask, whether it be because you have lung problems or some other disability, then you don’t have to wear one.

Whether this is true or not, this man was saying that he was exempt from wearing one and the law says that there’s no requirement of evidence for this.

Anthony Baldwin stating he was exempt was enough in the eyes of the law – again, whether right or wrong.

In the video footage, this man didn’t look like he had done anything wrong (in the eyes of the law), yet he was literally mauled by various officers and this is 100 per cent wrong on every level.

Having a disability isn’t always seen and sometimes it’s hidden – does this mean that someone who has hidden disabilities is not disabled?

Ordinarily, I’m all for the police as they mainly do a superb job with what resources they’re given and ordinarily take a lot of slack. However, in this instance, they were in the wrong and I really think this guy was pretty well behaved given the way the first officer manhandled him and it was a complete misuse of resources.
