Boris Johnson Hits Out At Cowardly Sir Keir Starmer As Labour Batters COVID Plan

Boris Johnson spoke to the House of Commons at 3.30 pm today to give an update on the UK’s current coronavirus status.

The Prime Minister insisted that the Government wasn’t in favour of a national lockdown similar to that in March. However, he announced further restrictions in a bid to contain the virus.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer began his reply by insisting he supported the Government’s efforts to handle the coronavirus situation, however, quickly began criticising their plan, asserting he was doubtful the Government had any plan to get control of the coronavirus in addition to his other distrusts.

Boris Johnson quickly retorted that while the Labour Party and its leader remain critical, they did not say what they would do instead, and he said that in his opinion, they had a slight shift in tact from the right honourable gentlemen who have previously been keen to support the efforts the Government has put in place to restrict the spread of the coronavirus.

And he said that they now see an equivocation, that he wants it both ways.

He said that he supported the rule of six and then his side refused to vote for it.

He said that he was willing to support the restriction that was put on hospitality but constantly runs down the NHS test and trace, but what he won’t say is what he would do.

Boris Johnson continued to lash out at Sir Keir Starmer for his lack of resolutions on practical ways to solve the problems the Government is encountering and Boris Johnson couldn’t have made a worse mess of managing the pandemic.

And nothing he’s done or said suggests he has control of the situation and he’s proving to be a bit of a headless chicken.

Sir Keir Starmer might be the leader of the opposition, and it’s his job to challenge Government policy and to counter those elements which are not fit for purpose. But opposition or not, when a country is going through a health crisis like this, all parties should unite and they all must look after the well being of its people, regardless of the party they represent.

However, without effective opposition, which questions policy decisions, you would merely have a single-party dictatorship. Perhaps the way to go forward is to make the people of this country the opposition, and that way the entire Government could work together without beating each other with a Punch and Judy stick.

Endeavouring to score points against the Government at every opportunity should be left to our children in the playground, but not in Government.

It’s not about point scoring – this is an extremely serious virus that has taken numerous lives and if anyone has any notion how to get rid of it, they definitely shouldn’t be keeping it to themselves.

At the end of the day, nobody knows how to get rid of this virus, it’s just trial and error, but what this Government should be doing is listening to the scientists, not fibbing about it to cover their behind.

People would have thought much more of him if he’d been sincere from the start and just said that he had no idea but was endeavouring to do his best to get through a crisis that was unfamiliar to him.

And it’s extremely easy to belittle the Prime Minister who doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing, but if he’d been forthcoming from the start, perhaps people wouldn’t be bashing him.

Meghan Markle Disclosed To Her PR Team That She Wanted To Be The Most Famous Person On The Planet

A biographer said that Meghan Markle told her advisors that she wanted to be the most famous person on the planet before she and Harry quit the Royal Family.

Lady Colin Campbell, author of Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, said that in the year before the dramatic split the American actress had, with her husband’s support, been pursuing commercial and political activities traditionally out of bounds to the royals.

According to the author, this included the Duchess of Sussex conveying to her PR team that her dream was to be the best-known celebrity in the world, a mission that could only be realised by being controversial.

Talking on Graham Norton’s BBC podcast, Lady Colin Campbell stated that she began writing the book because she knew privately that Meghan, with Harry’s connivance, was getting up to all sorts of things in America that she was prohibited from doing as a royal.

And that she was getting involved with commercial enterprises, flying kites in terms of politics, because she’s extremely political, and also instructing her PR people that they were to make her into the most famous person on earth.

Lady Colin Campbell said to be the most famous person on earth, it’s an extremely calculated policy and it has to involve an enormous amount of controversy, otherwise, you’re not that famous.

Lady Colin Campbell added that when they learned that she was writing about them, the couple endeavoured to intervene, and she said that they did attempt to influence the story through mutual friends.

It comes after the Jamaican born writer previously claimed Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royal Family started to exhibit warning signs only four days after she married Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in a ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19 2018.

However, the royal author, claimed that Meghan became the sizzling topic of discussion at a dinner held at her house at Castle Goring, Worthing in Sussex, just days after the wedding.

And speaking to a news outlet, the author claimed Meghan did something that stunned an attendee with impeccable palace connections at Prince Charles 70th birthday.

Something happened there on Tuesday, and she was told about it on Wednesday evening at dinner by a household name with impeccable palace connections and she might have accomplished this but the outcome has been the opposite of what she was hoping for.

Instead, she’s revealed her vicious self for all to see what a controlling, narcissistic she is and it seems that she married Harry believing that she would become the most famous person ever, and that’s why she loves all the media attention the world has to give, although she was relatively well-known before she married him. Still, a bit part in ‘Suits’ is scarcely stardom and no one knew who the hell she was before she commandeered Harry.

Some people hadn’t even heard of her until she got with Harry, but then we shouldn’t believe everything we read because there’s always an element of prejudice, particularly where some dominance has failed to rationalise reality.

Most people had never heard of her and now, most people wish they’d never heard of her and the royals are never that important, besides Diana, the rest are just there, nothing more.

And Meghan certainly does appear to need a therapist, and she does need to comprehend that the world has more major problems than having to listen to her bleating on.

Harry is a good-hearted person and for her, he was an easy target and this just shows her true colours and as an expert at manipulation and her intentions to create controversy in her actions and speeches, for the sole gain of being famous.

BLACK HOLE SEEN EATING STAR

Scientists have observed an irregular discharge of light from a star as it was consumed by a black hole.

The unique tidal disruption event was observable in telescopes across the world and it appeared like a bright burst of energy, the closest of its kind ever documented, at just 215 million light-years away.

Such occurrences ensue when a star gets too close to a black hole and is drawn in by its intense gravity and as the star is sucked in, it undergoes a process called spaghettification, where the star is shredded into thin strips, some of which descends into the black hole.

When it does, a burst of energy is discharged and flies out into the universe, allowing the process to be spotted by distant astronomers.

Lead author Dr Matt Nicholl, a lecturer and Royal Astronomical Society research fellow at the University of Birmingham said that the concept of a black hole sucking in a nearby star sounds like science fiction, but that this was exactly what was happening in a tidal disruption event.

And he continued that they were able to investigate in detail what occurs when a star is consumed by such a monster and they were able to watch it through telescopes around the world – the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope and New Technology Telescope, the Las Cumbres Observatory global telescope network, and the Neil Gehrels Swift Satellite – over six months, watching it as it grew brighter and then withered away.

Such a view is not usually attainable because dust and debris can cover up the tidal disruption events, which are already exceedingly rare, and that has made investigating the nature of the flare that is unleashed extremely difficult.

Samantha Oates, also at the University of Birmingham said that when a black hole devours a star, it can project a powerful burst of material outwards that blocks their view.

She continued that this occurs because the energy emitted as the black hole swallows up stellar material and forces the star’s debris outwards.

Astronomers were able to see this one, named AT2019qiz, in better detail than ever before because it was detected shortly after the star was torn to shreds.

Thomas Wevers, an ESO Fellow in Santiago, Chile, who was at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, when he conducted the work said that several sky surveys uncovered emission from the new tidal disruption event extremely quickly after the star was torn apart.

He continued that they immediately honed a suite of ground-based and space telescopes in that direction to see how the light was produced, which let them see and better understand both the flare and the debris that would usually surround it.

With a bit of luck, it might devour Planet Earth because that’s all it’s fit for at the moment and we could give the black hole a running stomach with all the debris and contamination living on earth, but it would probably spit us back out!

And at just 215 million light-years ago – right next door, the black hole shreds a star into spaghetti, eats it appetisingly, then as part of the digestion process spews a blaze of energy that intellectualists can see with their telescopes.

What they’re seeing is from 215 million years ago, the same time when dinosaurs ruled the earth.

You can manipulate the evidence all you want but the speed of light can’t be thrust aside to substantiate legends or junk science.

Customers Still Like To Shop In Person

When the pandemic forced Dick’s Sporting Goods to close its hundreds of stores in March, the retailer hurried to set up curbside pick up within two days – its initial endeavour, though, was just this side of a children’s lemonade stand.

Lauren Hobart, president of Dick’s said that when you drove up, there was a sign in the window with a phone number, and people used the landline to call the stores and they delivered it out.

It was an extremely scrappy operation, with email and text alerts coming later on, but scrappy or not, curbside pick up’s not only saved Dick’s sales during the lockdown, but it also emerged as the retailers best strategy for long term survival in the e-commerce age.

What started as a coronavirus stop gap is likely to have an enduring influence on the way people shop, and the popularity of curbside pick up indicates that the future of retail isn’t just more package piling up on people’s doorsteps.

And beyond fulfilling the need for contactless shopping in the pandemic, it taps into American’s desire to drive to a store, a pull that can be just as strong as, or even stronger than, the convenience of home delivery.

Oliver Chen, a retail analyst at Cowen said that Americans are used to their cars and do like stores, so this kind of hybrid is the best of both worlds and as of August, about three-fourths of the top 50 store-based retailers in the United States offered curbside pickup, and according to Coresight Research, an advisory and research firm that specialises in retail and technology, anything from a sweater to a book is now easy to pick up as a sandwich.

Target said its curbside sales increased more than 700 per cent in the last quarter, while Best Buy reported almost $5 billion in online revenue in the second quarter, a company record, and said 41 per cent of that had come from curbside or in-store pickup.

The rise in curbside pickup, part of a larger wave in e-commerce sales, has implications for preserving retail jobs, though workers duties are likely to transform and it’s also helping to keep brick and mortar spaces relevant when thousands of storefronts have emptied, as more customers move online.

Curbside permits certain big-box retailers to transform their stores into mini e-commerce fulfilment centres while bypassing the money-losing step of shipping goods to homes and Mr Chen said that by driving to the store to pick up an online order, the customer takes the last mile.

There’s a lot of people that would choose curbside because it’s one of the few things that get people out of their homes, although online shopping benefits the sick, disabled and the elderly. Of course, curbside is more affordable than having it dispatched to your home or delivered by a third party company.

And getting out of the house for any reason, just to see the difference on people’s faces is wonderful, but there are people out there that loathe shopping and now buy everything online, including grocery shopping, particularly in NYC.

Faith Leaders Back Joe Biden In A Sign That Evangelical Support For Donald Trump Is Weakening

More than 1,600 faith leaders in the US have publicly backed Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate in next month’s presidential election, amid signs that some evangelical voters are turning away from Donald Trump.

The Joe Biden endorsements mostly came from Catholics, evangelicals and mainline Protestants. They include Jerushah Duford, the granddaughter of Billy Graham, Susan Johnson Cook, the ex-US ambassador for religious freedom, Michael Kinnamon, former general secretary of the National Council of Churches, and Gene Robinson, an ex bishop in the Episcopal church.

Dough Pagitt, executive director of the Christian campaign organisation Vote Common Good, which compiled endorsements, said that this record-breaking group of endorsers demonstrates that President Trump’s lack of compassion and morality is energising faith communities and will cost him the election.

The organisation said the announcement represents the biggest group of clergy to support a Democratic candidate for president in modern history and that four years ago, numerous religious voters chose to look the other way and to give Donald Trump a chance, but after seeing his ruthlessness and lawlessness, a growing number of them are turning away from the President.

In the 2016 election, more than 80 per cent of white evangelicals voted for Donald Trump, with many taking the view that his promise to make conservative and pro-life appointments to the supreme court outweighed unease about his personal behaviour – white evangelicals make up almost a quarter of the US electorate.

But some surveys have indicated an erosion of support for Donald Trump among white evangelicals and a poll conducted last month on behalf of Vote Common Good in five key battleground states discovered an 11 point swing among evangelical and Catholic voters towards Joe Biden.

In July the Public Religion Research Institute found a seven-point drop in white Christian support for Donald Trump, and a Fox News survey in August revealed 28 per cent of white evangelicals supported Joe Biden, compared with 16 per cent who backed Hillary Clinton in 2016.

A group called Pro-life Evangelicals for Biden said that, despite disagreeing with the Democratic candidate’s stance on abortion, they acknowledged that on balance, Joe Biden’s policies were more consistent with the biblically shaped ethic of life than those of Donald Trump. Therefore, they urged evangelicals to elect Joe Biden as President.

Joe Biden, who’s a Catholic, has often talked of how his faith has sustained him through challenging times, is hoping to win over wavering Catholic voters with a string of ad broadcast in battleground states.

Nonetheless, how could Evangelicals support someone like Donald Trump in the first place? Perhaps they’d been injecting bleach straight into their brains?

The Trump administration has been the most destructive, and hopefully, America will never have to encounter anything as they have in the past four years – a so-called President that couldn’t care less about America, and if there is a God, he would never have allowed Donald Trump being elected as President, and it’s difficult to conceive that any religious folk voted for the Anti Christ.

The fact that any religion can impact the electorate in any country is a profanity of the highest order, and it’s kind of tragic, considering this man has been accused of being a predator himself, hiding behind a congenial veneer but being an absolute monster.

WHAT A JOKE

According to a news outlet, the Health Secretary nursed a glass of white wine in the Smoking Rooms commons bar until at least 10.25 pm and a senior Tory MP said that Matt Hancock arrived at the bar just before 9.40 pm and ordered a glass of French sauvignon blanc.

He is then said to have quipped to other MPs, saying that the drinks were on him and that Public Health England was in charge of the payment methodology so he wouldn’t be spending anything.

The joke reportedly came after he had endeavoured to demonstrate to the Commons why the under fire public body had lost some 16,000 coronavirus tests and Matt Hancock’s apparent infringement of his own rules comes despite Speaker Lindsay Hoyle insisting that the Commons bar must abide by the same 10 pm curfew that applies to venues across the country.

However, in a statement given to a news outlet, a spokesman for Matt Hancock repudiated that any rules had been violated and they said that no rules had been broken and that the Secretary of State had been in the Smoking Room before the vote that evening.

And it was said that the Secretary of State had left the Smoking Room to vote and that the vote took place at 9.42 pm and that after, the Secretary of State left the Parliamentary manor to go home.

However, the spokesman refused to respond on whether Matt Hancock returned to the bar after voting and before he returned home.

Charles Walker, the Tory MP who oversees the Commons bars, has since promised an inquiry into the allegations that the curfew was broken and Charles Walker, chairman of the Common’s Administration Committee, told a news outlet that he would be speaking to senior management within the catering department and that alleged drinking after the curfew needed to stop.

Politicians have since attacked the Health Secretary’s tasteless alleged witticism and Munira Wilson, the Liberal Democrats Health spokesman, told a news outlet that if these vulgar remarks were factual, Matt Hancock must apologise and that Matt Hancock has no shame.

And she added that rather than taking responsibility for testing failures, the Health Secretary was making jokes at their expense. However, one source revealed to the news outlet that Matt Hancock’s apparent gag did get quite a laugh from the twenty or so other MPs in the room.

If the Government want the public to follow their rules, then they need to lead by example, and any breaches by officials regardless of who they are must be met head-on and dealt with as severely as the rules permit because the failure to do so will see the public stick two fingers up at the Government and they will just do their own thing.

Although, it appears that people are doing that already and these MPs and Government are playing with people’s lives and their livelihoods, destroying their prospects. Yet they disregard the rules and laugh at them whilst they do so, and still, people support the Government and obey their rules despite overwhelming proof it’s not working.

And of course, the track and trace system isn’t working because not everyone takes their phones everywhere they go, and not everyone has their locations on – so no, the Government don’t know their every move.

There are numerous people out there that won’t care that Matt Hancock was in the bar past 10 pm, but they will care that they are going to kill our economy, where millions will lose their jobs and homes and perhaps the reason numerous people aren’t following the lockdown rules is that our so-called leaders should be setting an example, but are not, and leadership in this country has gone down the drain.

Doctors Call For Facemasks To Be Mandatory Outdoors As Well

Doctors have recommended that masks should be compulsory outdoors as well as indoors when there’s a chance of coming within two metres of other people.

The British Medical Association (BMA) stated that those older than 60, or who are obese or have other health conditions, making them especially vulnerable to the coronavirus, should be provided with medical-grade masks.

And all this to shatter the resistance of approval for a rushed vaccine for something that only has a 99.8 per cent recovery, and that will allegedly need numerous doses and will need aluminium and mercury amongst other things to enrich the autoimmune response to the cocktail.

And in all likelihood, there will be severe consequences for some people.

Numerous people are refusing to do the rule of six, and they won’t do another lockdown either.

People are wearing masks because the Government said we needed to so that we can all get back to normal, they lied, it’s not happening, and some news outlets should be sequestered from the public so that it contains hysteria.

And there’s no actual proof that masks do too much, along with little proof of outdoor transmission, so putting the two together is codswallop.

How about we just stick to real science that tells us the proper type of masks that we need to use correctly to lower the risk of transmission in certain situations? And when I say, stick to actual science, I mean without Government interference because it’s beginning to feel like people are just plucking ideas out of a hat and it seems to be something new in the newspapers every day and honestly most people are done with it now.

No one understands the rules anymore or believes in half of them, and this coronavirus is getting depressing, whilst people eagerly wait for a vaccine to arrive.

Typically, vaccines take an extremely long time to arrive, years generally, even when they’re rushed through. And what if you don’t want to have the vaccine? Are you to wear a mask for the rest of your life?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) reported there could be a vaccine by the end of the year, but whether you trust them or not is another debate.

Masks need to consist of at least three layers of different fabric to be effective, but it was also stated that masks on their own would not protect us from COVID 19, and wearing a mask for a long amount of time, such as at work is likely to contaminate you anyhow with what you’re breathing in.

And this is where we’re at: These knee jerk responses are announced when we get up in the morning and by the end of the day, there’s a brainwashed crowd ready to kill you if they see you outside without a mask.

With the cold season starting very soon, I wouldn’t like to think of people coughing and sneezing into their masks and then breathing it back in, I’m sure it won’t be good for them, and how does one blow their nose with a mask on?

And if fresh air gets through the masks, the virus does as well, so these masks are not stopping the virus from being passed around to other people and it all appears to be pseudoscientific gibberish, and if our Government could give us scientific evidence that these masks help, especially outdoors, please let us all know.

We need to contain this delirious silliness and return to some sort of normality. After all, Holland’s top scientists said that there was no concrete proof that face coverings work and warned that they could even damage the fight against COVID 19.

STOP THE SPREAD

Skills minister Gillian Keegan told BBC Question Time that the tremendous rise in cases is profound and that they have to do something.

It came as scientists on the Government’s SAGE committee of experts called for more strict measures to tackle the spread of the virus across Britain and now ministers are increasingly concerned about the impact on hospitals as admissions grow along with deaths.

Gillian Keegan said that it was serious and that it was getting out of control and that they had to do something to bring it back under control, while Boris Johnson weighs over new measures for the North of England, with municipalities including Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle expected to see pubs closed from next week.

However, there appears to be a tremendous divide across the country with locations in the South not seeing the same increases like places further North and MPs have been shown data which claimed up to 30 per cent of coronavirus exposure was in hospitality.

But Public Health England data reveals it’s only accountable for a handful of outbreaks across the country, but experts have said, however, that even closing hospitality outlets and jeopardising more jobs might not be enough to restrain the virus.

Speaking anonymously, some SAGE experts told a news outlet that a circuit breaker style intervention of the type being imposed in Scotland should have been legislated in England two or three weeks ago when such a move was discussed with ministers.

Sir Jeremy Farrar has called for prompt action to sidestep spiralling out of control and he said that they were near to or at events and choices of 13-23 March and he continued that with the lag time between deciding, it’s execution and its effect measured in weeks, the longer the decisions are deferred, the harder and more draconian are the interventions needed to alter the trajectory of the epidemic curve, and he said that we shouldn’t act slower than the speed of the epidemic and that we shouldn’t get behind an epidemic curve.

Professor John Edmunds, another SAGE member, said coronavirus was holding a gun to Boris Johnson’s head.

Some are insisting the Prime Minister go for more stringent measures to get a grip on cases again.

No announcement has yet been made on more local lockdown measures, but leaders are enraged they haven’t yet been told what’s going on.

The Prime Minister is expected to announce a new tiers system next week which will divide the country into different lockdown measures depending on the infection rate.

Universities were reopened and now there are hundreds of cases and it would help if all the so-called professionals and scientists could coordinate with each other – herd immunity should have been done from the beginning.

Locking down a workforce would make this country’s economy extremely vulnerable and it would have also made tons of people redundant and unemployable, so effectively our Government would have been locking people down to rot, including the elderly and vulnerable.

The British Government is out of control as the virus has been proven to be beaten by herd immunity, but our Government don’t want to hear it.

The problem is, that no one knows what to believe anymore. They say one thing and then say something different and our magnificent Government has spent £12 billion on Deloitte and Serco and it’s still a catastrophe and it’s time we held our Government to account.

One minute numbers are going down, but still high. Next minute London doesn’t have coronavirus, just the North and now it’s getting out of control. However, the media should stop putting fear into the sheep, it’s just not helping.

If we go into a full lockdown again, businesses are going to fail and people are going to lose their jobs. However, MPs are getting pay increases working from home, and we’re not being told the truth.

The Government should have closed airports and ports from day one and then when the lockdown was over, people were going on holiday and that was a big problem.

Or is it that they’re using the flu season to rake in the numbers? Or is it because this virus is clever and knows that it needs to infect only people in the North?

And evidently, it only attacks over six people, nor does it contaminate people at work or school and never at demonstrations, which makes us a wee bit thick, don’t you think? Come on you people out there, wakey, wakey.

Final Hours Of 39 Migrants Recorded In Anguished Phone Calls

Jurors heard that a dying victim made a tragic recording for his family saying that he was sorry and that he couldn’t take care of them. That he couldn’t breathe and to have a good life.

A trial at the Old Bailey heard gruelling details of the last hours of the lives of 39 migrants who perished inside a lorry container in October last year.

Irish truck driver Eammon Harrison, 23, and British Romanian Gheorghe Nica, 43, are indicted of the slaying of the non-EU citizens who were discovered dead in a trailer near Grays, Essex – they both deny the 39 counts of manslaughter.

The audio message was made by Nguyen Tho Tuan, 25, for his wife, children and mother at 7.37 pm after the phone signal in the trailer cut out.

It was told that the painful tapes made by the Vietnamese nationals in their last moments alive were played to the court as they tried in vain to call for help from the outside world, but their bodies weren’t found until the next morning.

Shortly before 7 pm on October 22, a call was made to 113, which jurors were told was important because in Vietnam that’s the equivalent of 999.

Pham Thi Tra My took photographs of herself as she endeavoured to make three calls only minutes apart. None of those calls were successful.

Jurors were told that the temperature inside the container had jumped to 35C by 6.25 pm and the court was shown pictures taken by 25-year-old Pham Thi Tra May after the heat started to reach the excruciating highs.

The court heard that by 6.59 pm, another victim had endeavoured to call emergency services and the prosecutor said that the air in the trailer would have become tainted after around nine hours of confinement and that the migrants would have begun to die shortly after, at around 10 to 10.30 pm.

Cellsite data from the victim’s phone positioned them in different places around Brussels and Paris the day before they died, indicating they transited northbound to the Belgian border.

The jurors heard that Harrison then arranged to meet the migrants at Chemin Noord Straete, France, where they arrived in taxis and concealed themselves in an agricultural shed until he collected them.

It was said that passerby Laetitia Mockelyn witnessed the rendezvous and saw the Vietnamese nationals head into their temporary refuge before leaping back into the back of a lorry shortly after.

And it’s an extremely difficult thing to consider, regarding those people in sheer hysteria and dread, knowing their lives were coming to an end, locked in there and looking at others dying around them and they must have been poorly treated in their own country to jeopardise their lives to get here and I feel for them and their families to die like this, they were very desperate.

All lives matter regardless of the circumstances and these people were desperate and remember that before you judge because we have no idea what we would do put in that position and it would be lovely to see some compassion and empathy for the demise of a fellow human being.

We should all be showing some humanity and hope that everyone’s families don’t have to be put in a similarly horrific situation.

Often these victims are trafficked through threats of death, or threats to kill their families and if this is the case then we need to condemn the traffickers, but please don’t reprimand the victims and I do shake my head because there is so much ignorance around.

Audience Blasts Boris Johnson Critics

Fiona Bruce, the host of Question Time, spoke to a virtual audience from Coventry along with a delegation of politicians and professionals.

On the panel was Gillian Keegan MP, Andy Burnham, Dame Donna Kinnair, Yanis Varoufakis and Michael Portillo.

The BBC’s weekly debate show saw an audience member praise the Prime Minister for dealing with the pandemic amid mass public scrutiny.

It follows recent YouGov polling showing Boris Johnson lose his head over Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer over the public’s dislike of his handling of the pandemic.

Paul Somerfield, from Coventry, was asked by Fiona Bruce to give his views on the coronavirus pandemic, where he made a call for unity between political parties.

He stated that we really must unite and that we must stop Boris bashing and he added that there’s been no other Prime Minister who’s governed during such horrendous times in our peacetime.

And he continued that now was the time for the United Kingdom to all unite and get behind him and adhere to the rules and regulations because there’s no immediate fix.

Andy Burnham criticised the Government, saying that it did feel increasingly to people that they were being treated with hatred in the North of England and he went on to say that the Government needs to help enterprises with a full furlough scheme if localised lockdowns persist.

Audience member Jaspal responded to the comments and said of the UK Government’s response to the pandemic that because it’s unprecedented and that why couldn’t we take unprecedented actions? And then why couldn’t we say take all the politics out of this because it always felt like a bit of a slanging match.

The audience’s comments were also in answer to a conflict between Andy Burham and Gillian Keegan MP, minister for apprenticeships and skills.

The Manchester mayor asked whether the Government was doing all it could to protect job losses and hardship from the pandemic in the North of England, which enraged Gillian Keegan.

Boris Johnson himself has thrashed Labour for not getting behind the Government during the pandemic, but Sir Keir Starmer has frequently asserted he’s supported the Government’s restrictions to manage the pandemic.

Early in September, the Labour leader offered cross-party backing for any genuine national plan to protect from job losses and during this week’s Prime Minister’s Questions, Sir Keir Starmer blasted Boris Johnson for intergalactic incompetence for not publicising the scientific basis for his 10 pm curfew on pubs and restaurants, and may not support the measure when it heads to the Commons this week.

Unfortunately, the Conservatives will never get any better and Boris Johnson’s a second rate loser who can’t even hold down a job in the real world. Honestly, would you give him a job? I definitely wouldn’t.

Perhaps if he would answer a simple question when put to him, but he can’t seem to do that, instead he pitches a tantrum like some small child and some would say he’s doing a competent job in extremely challenging circumstances and other people probably wouldn’t be able to it, but they’re quick to criticise.

Of course, it’s not that hard to do a better job than Boris Johnson and he’s in the top ten worst of my leaders in the whole world when it comes to the coronavirus and he might appear to have done a brilliant job with the worst infection rate in Europe, but he’s spent weeks dithering and doddering and none of the rules makes any sense.
