Several Miscarriages Later, A Mother Adopts A Baby But Is Faced With Horrific Online Abuse

A mother who adopted a newborn at the age of 49, after struggling with infertility and suffering from numerous miscarriages has encountered horrendous online shaming from trolls who called her selfish for becoming a mum at such an old age and told her she’s most likely going to die before her daughter grows up.

Kris Monsour, now 51, from Canal Winchester, Ohio, always wanted to become a mother, and she spent more than a decade trying.

Unfortunately, Kris Monsour was unable to successfully conceive, and by 2019 after suffering from multiple miscarriages, she’d almost given up on her dream of having a baby, but then, Kris received a text message from her cousin that transformed her life forever.

The relative, who’s in rehab for addiction, told Kris that he was pregnant and asked her if she wanted to adopt the baby.

She and her husband Clay, 47, officially adopted their daughter, Ainsley, now two, in March 2020.

Kris, who works as an executive insurance director, recently chose to share her journey online but was shocked when she started to receive a bunch of backlash for her decision to become a mum at the age of 49.

Kris has received hundred of hurtful comments from people who’ve criticised her for raising a baby while in her 50s, including one who said she would be a geriatric parent before Ainsley graduates high school, and another who claimed the toddler would have to decide on her mum and dad’s nursing home at the age of 20.

However, the mum of one has replied to her haters in multiple videos posted to her TikTok account, where she’s racked up more than 159,000 followers and nine million likes.

She wrote in the video that there were just a few comments she’s received as an older mum on the app while showing off some of the awful messages that she’d obtained.

One of them read that they didn’t agree with all of this and that she should think about the child.

Another said that when the child reaches the age of 18, Kris would be close to 70 and that most people at that age lose the ability to 100 per cent take care of themselves, and another hater added that she should think about dying when the child is 20.

Kris said in the video that luckily for her, she refused to absorb the toxic comments and that she was far too occupied doing things that feed her soul, but for many words hurt and they should think before they comment.

She wrote in another TikTok while mentioning some more typical comments that she’s received that someone said that 49 was too old to adopt a baby.

The clip showed her carrying little Ainsley while pretending to be exhausted and frail, and she added as she adjusted her stance, standing up straight that this was her at 49, living life and then she strode forcefully towards the camera.

Of course, people live longer these days, and at least they can provide a home instead of orphans who end up in abusive environments. This woman should be commended not humiliated.

This is just a wow moment and all I can say people can be extremely judgmental.

Bed Shortage: NHS Bosses Plan To Turn Patients’ Bedrooms Into Hospital Wards

The NHS will ask patients to turn their bedrooms into hospital wards in an effort to free up hospital beds and tackle waiting lists.

They will be given mobile phones and wearable gizmos that allow doctors to observe their vital signs remotely on ‘virtual wards.’

Up to 25,000 people at a time could be treated under the ‘hospital at home’ scheme by March 2024 in a big boost to capacity, and it could allow patients to be released from the hospital sooner, or sidestep the need to be admitted in the first place.

The initiative forms part of the Government’s Plan for Digital Health and Social Care.

It outlines ministers’ ambitions to expand the use of technology within the NHS rapidly in an endeavour to save billions of pounds over the next decade.

Proposals include expanding the use of remote monitoring, improving the NHS App and rolling out digital health and social care records in hospitals and care homes.

The Government will create an additional 10,500 data and technology roles as well as increase training in these areas for new and existing staff.

The expanded use of ‘virtual wards’ comes after NHS England chief executive Amanda Pritchard revealed that too many beds had been cut.

Some 25,000 staffed beds have been lost since 2010/11, with few beds per head of population than in similar nations.

Mrs Pritchard told the NHS ConfedExpo conference this month that they have passed the threshold at which that efficiency becomes inadequate and that a lack of beds, along with wit delays in discharging medically fit patients into social care, have contributed to more extended waits for routine operations and in A&E.

There are a record 6.5 million people on NHS waiting lists, with numbers soaring in recent months due to disruption caused by the pandemic.

More than 280,000 people have had their conditions, such as asthma, remotely monitored at home and in care homes over the past year, freeing up hospital beds and clinicians’ time.

According to the Department of Health and Social Care, this has resulted in improvements in patient outcomes, with problems spotted earlier, shorter stays in hospital and fewer admissions, and an additional 500,000 people could be supported in this way by March next year.

Patients will also be able to complete their hospital pre-assessment assessments from home by September 2024.

But remote monitoring is a shoddy replacement for regular checks by nurses.

These people are sick, so who’s going to feed them, help them to the toilet, and change their bed linen? And if something goes wrong, who’s going to take care of the patient?

Looking after someone when they’re ill is demanding and given the lack of care in the community, with GPs, and the delays getting a paramedic out on a 999 call I definitely wouldn’t pick this option.

What’s next? An NHS mobile service coming round our streets like an ice cream van, then people can clap them as they come into the street like Father Christmas on his float.

I guess they could install fabricated wards to provide additional bed capacity. Oh yes, I forgot they did that, they called them the Nightingale Hospitals, remember those? 

Apparently, they couldn’t get enough staff and enough equipment, so if this is the case ‘remote wards’ at home will be the same. Not enough staff and people will end up becoming worse than they began in the first place, which will mean they will still end up in the hospital, so this is a senseless venture.

A Baby Whose Parents Refused To Have Him Vaccinated Was Originally Denied A New Heart

A six-month-old infant in Tennessee with a heart defect has finally been added to the waiting list for transplant after his evangelical parents claimed their doctor told them their youngster had to be vaccinated first.

August Stoll was born in December, and his heart defect was diagnosed when he was 13 days old.

He’s spent much of his young life in Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, and in June had heart surgery but his parents were told he would need a transplant.

His mother Hannah Stoll said that the transplant team, specifically Dr David Bearl gave them the ultimatum that if they didn’t give August a string of vaccines, he would be kept off the transplant list.

She said he specifically used the phrase, ‘I am mandating,’ about eight times during our first conversation about this.’

She didn’t pinpoint what vaccines were required or detail his reason.

She said that in the second conversation she reasoned and argued with him over the stupidity of giving her baby vaccines with a massive chance of a negative outcome, on a severely immunosuppressed child on their death bed.

He continued to refuse, so she asked him if this was legal, and he said no. She asked him if this was policy, and he said no.

In their third conversation, he came to see her and asked her if she had any more questions and she asked if he’d changed his mind, he said no.

Hannah, who in 2011 described herself as a California girl who moved to Tennessee after falling in love with and marrying Clint Stoll, and appears to work at No Greater Joy ministries.

She said that she was adamant August not be vaccinated, and she said that she firmly believes with complete certainty that it’s disgusting, unethical, heartless, and awful to withhold a heart from a six-month-old baby over this.

She said that she believes that loading his body with these vaccines would kill him and that she believed that it was her right as a parent to decide for him and that she thinks that this doctor’s hold over them was motivated by ego.

She said that as his parents they have a responsibility to protect their son at all costs and that he’s dying and time is of the essence.

August has now apparently been accepted on the transplant list, but it’s unclear whether they’d decided to vaccinate him, or whether the hospital had waived the apparent requirement.

This is a child and this doctor’s medical licence should be revoked because this man took the Hippocratic Oath which upholds specific ethical standards.

This child is already sick, with a remarkably low level of immune system function, yet the parents were told that their child should be given a superfluity of vaccines before he could undergo extremely intrusive surgery and then be given enormous amounts of immunosuppressants.

The parents were right, this is too much to ask and expect a favourable outcome. Vaccines can be given later on because all vaccines require good health at the time of being administered.

The problem is the entire medical industry and the insurance industry is a business and they will take you for a ride and if you think they won’t rip you off, well, they will, and doctors have such enormous egos they can barely fit them through the door, and if this doctor seriously looked at this baby and refused him treatment then he shouldn’t be a doctor.

Council To Evict Man From Family Home In Cardiff

A council house tenant mourning the demise of his father and brother is on the verge of losing his lifelong home.

Darren Evans worries his mental health will crumble if he’s forced to leave the house in Caerau, Cardiff.

Until recently, the 51-year-old shared the semi-detached three-bedroom property in Heol-Yr-Odyn with his brother and father.

Darren’s brother died unexpectedly in July 2021, at the age of 53. In November he lost his 77-year-old father.

Soon after the death of his father, Cardiff Council told Darren the house was too large for his needs and that he would be rehoused in a one-bedroom property.

Darren’s learning difficulties mean he’s unable to read or write. He’s been the sole occupant of the home since losing his father and brother, but family members have been taking turns to stay with him to make sure he has the support he needs.

His family fear such support would no longer be possible if he’s moved to a one-bedroom abode.

Darren said that having to cope with two deaths in such a brief space of time has left him incapacitated by anxiety and depression and that he just feels suicidal and depressed all the time and he wouldn’t be able to carry on if he has to move.

The Welsh Government passed a law in 2016 which would potentially allow two successions in tenancy, but the change isn’t coming into force until December.

Cardiff Council said that even if the law was already in place, it would still be able to apply for eviction in cases where a home is too large for a tenant’s needs.

Amy Lesauteur, David’s niece, said that it was at the start of January that Darren got a letter from the council and that they had been so bad with them, and that the housing manager came out and said that he wasn’t keeping the house and that it was as simple as that.

She said that the housing officer said he would be given a two-bedroom house with a drive, but then they had a phone call from the housing officer saying there was good news, and he was offered a one-bedroom flat in one of the worst estates in Ely, Spinney Close.

It has a big drug problem and he was told that he had to view it on Monday and if he didn’t, they weren’t going to offer him any property.

She said that he went there and he was waiting outside the front door for an hour and a half, but no one turned up, and that they haven’t heard from the housing manager since and there’s been no explanation.

The council said they believe there was a misunderstanding over the appointment and its representative said that the property concerned wasn’t ready and so viewing wouldn’t have yet been offered.

Amy, who has organised a petition with 158 signatures against the eviction, continued: “We’ve been given no date for when he has to leave, no guidance on that.

She said the lady in the local community corner said that the council has the discretion to let Darren keep the house because of his mental health, but the housing manager said no and it was extremely stressful not knowing what’s going to happen.

Of course, a council house doesn’t belong to a tenant, but the council does have a responsibility to deliver suitable accommodation, but all that this man will be offered is a one-bedroom flat, but unfortunately, the council has no empathy when it comes to this kind of thing, but this man has lived in his family home for an extremely long time, he has mental health problems and is going to find it extremely difficult to adjust and just leave all those memories behind.

It’s his family home and it looks like the council wants to make him homeless. It’s a disgrace and where’s the compassion?

It might not be his home and the council is renting it to him, but his family have likely paid three times its value in rent and they must have been good tenants and the council should be showing some compassion and at least try to find him somewhere nearby so that his family can support him because this upheaval is not good for him.

This is going to impact this man’s mental health terribly and the council are doing this to him, but if he was a boat person they would have no problem housing them, but if you were born in the United Kingdom you deserve nothing, and this is why there’s a housing crisis.

This is one person that needs help, but if you don’t talk the right language you’re out on your ear. It wouldn’t hurt them to let him stay there until they find him a one-bedroom property near to his family, but no, they just can’t wait to get a family of immigrants in there instead.

Lockdown’s Lost Children

From the way that parents are cajoling their children with trendy new trainers, it’s evident that they’re caring parents and that they want the best for their children, but now parents are having concerns about the development of their children.

However, children are so far behind that they don’t even know what a full stop is, and some children have become so clingy that parents are having to send them to school with a dummy to keep them subdued.

Once, dummies were the preserve of infants who would be weaned off them during the toddler years, but now they, along with nappies, bottles and other paraphernalia of infancy, are increasingly a feature of the nation’s reception classes, and even beyond, and it’s a graphic illustration of the catastrophic impact the pandemic has had on the cohort of babies and young children born just before and during COVID, and the effects are now only really emerging as they join education.

Now teachers are in no doubt that children are coming to school less prepared than ever before.

Once, most four-year-olds were toilet trained and could, with help, get dressed, feed themselves and possibly even make a fist of writing their name or basic numbers.

Now the Education Endowment Foundation says that considerable numbers of four and five-year-olds have speech and language problems, a problem with social interaction and confidence and delays in walking.

Before lockdown, nearly half the year group weren’t prepared for school, but now it’s more like 80 to 90 per cent that arrives in a pushchair, dummy in the mouth and wearing nappies, unable to take their coat off or unable to eat with a spoon.

Shockingly, one head teacher told a recent education commission of a mother who pushed her son to school in a shopping trolley, and no doubt that during the pandemic he was at home shut away, tablet no doubt firmly in his hand and thus had failed to develop the muscle tone to run around.

And some children have been so isolated that they adopt the funny voices of the cartoon characters they endlessly watch.

Children aren’t being potty trained, and it’s okay when dealing with one child but it’s a catastrophe when it’s all 30 children, which then takes away teaching time for the entire class, and a teacher confessed that they see all manner of things in the children’s pants, soiled nappies, or even sanitary pads as makeshift nappies.

It’s not just the most impoverished but the most slothful families’ that are now parenting badly, and if a child is going to school still wearing a nappy, it’s not down to COVID, it’s down to bad parenting unless of course the child has a good reason or is disabled in some way.

But children are going into school in nappies, can you envision a kid running about with an Oompa Loompa backside?

But what isn’t clarified is whether these problems are more or entirely prevalent in any particular area of society, but what we do know is that children’s speech has been hugely impacted, but then most children these days have a TV, computer, tablet or phone shunted in their face most of the day.

Of course, COVID has no doubt had a knock-on effect on children, with numerous children suffering from anxiety when they have to go to school because they were off school for such a long time, but parents potty train their own children and they control what their children watch on the TV.

The problem is this is the age of mobile phones, the PlayStation, Xbox and anything that’s computer related, but if parents actually put their mobile phones down and interacted with their children, that might help.

Thirty years ago parents talked to their children all the time, perhaps running a commentary while they were out strolling with their kids and stories at bedtime.

Colouring helped teach them pen control, and number games helped teach them maths.

The majority of children had been potty trained by the time they were three for playschool and typically did that in the summer because they wear fewer clothes and numerous parents bought their kids Velcro fastening shoes to aid self-dressing.

And as for feeding themselves numerous parents started off giving their children finger foods, but when they started to eat normal food it was cut up into small pieces so that they could readily transfer it into their mouths with a fork. It’s all just common sense, thought and a bit of imagination.

A Premature Baby Who Died Just A Few Weeks After Birth Is Thrown Away

It’s been revealed that a premature baby, who died weeks after being born at a world-renowned hospital in Boston, may have been accidentally discarded in bed linen.

Everleigh Victoria McCarthy was only two pounds when she arrived three months early on July 25, 2020, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

The newborn developed a brain bleed and was put on a ventilator but it seemed doubtful she would survive.

The devastated parents, Alana Ross, 37, and Daniel McCarthy, 38, waited and prayed that their infant would pull through.

The family attorney Greg Henning told a newspaper outlet that sadly, their daughter passed away on August 6, 2020, 12 days after being born.

Her devastated parents started to make arrangements and plans for a memorial service for their daughter until they discovered the startling news.

The funeral home informed them that their daughter’s body was missing and soon their grief turned into a horrible nightmare.

Their attorney confirmed that the distraught couple contacted the hospital trying to get answers, but when they were unable to get adequate information they contacted the Boston Police Department.

According to a police report acquired by a newspaper outlet, hospital workers said they couldn’t locate the baby’s remains.

According to the report, police determined that the baby’s body was likely mistaken as soiled linen and thrown away.

Ross told The New York Times it was like their child had died all over again, and Ross, who’d suffered two previous miscarriages before learning she’d become pregnant with Everleigh, was traumatised all over again.

Ross and McCarthy have now sued the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Suffolk County Superior Court, in Boston.

Henning, who’s been working with the couple for almost two years, told a newspaper outlet that the case was being filed because he said it wasn’t going to be resolved any other way.

He said that Alana and Daniel had been dealing with a lot of trauma and stress with this and they’d decided now was the right time to file the suit.

Henning confirmed to a newspaper outlet, referring to a 50-page complaint that there was no financial amount sought.

He said that his clients were looking forward to the chance to speak to a jury and tell them what happened to Everleigh.

In a statement, Sunil Eappen, Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s chief medical officer, gave a statement to a newspaper outlet expressing their condolences but were unable to supply additional details.

I can’t imagine the unbearable pain the parents must be going through and will have to live with for the rest of their lives, and even though they’re not asking for money, no money could ever heal the loss that they are feeling right now because they can’t even have a burial for their child.

I can’t understand how someone who works in a hospital could possibly make that mistake and this was indeed negligent, and this baby was treated like garbage.

Admittedly premature babies are small, but they aren’t that small to be confused with soiled linen and the hospital has no excuse for this.

How on earth did this happen? There’s a chain of custody when an infant dies that has to be put into place and be signed off, and there must have been someone waiting in the morgue for the baby’s remains, so how did the baby go missing for so long?

There are supposed to be protocols in place in hospitals – medical record numbers, ID bracelets, sign in, sign out, so it’s actually hard to comprehend how this occurred.

This is a very tragic story, all going on in a top-tier hospital, so I can only imagine what happens to those of lesser prestige.

A Father Paralyzed By The COVID Vaccine Leaves The Hospital After 420 Days

A dad who said he was left paralysed from the COVID vaccine has been discharged from the hospital after nearly four months.

Anthony Shingler, 58, suffered extreme pains alongside pins and needles days after receiving his first dose of the AstraZeneca jab in March last year.

StokeonTrentLive said that he was taken to Royal Stokes University Hospital in Staffordshire, where he was put onto a ventilator before being transferred to Hayward Hospital last November.

The ex-security worker was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), an extremely rare and serious condition in which a person’s own immune system attacks the nerves.

Most people would have usually recovered from the condition within six months to a year, but according to the NHS, about one in five people are left with long-term problems such as being unable to walk without help.

Anthony now needs a wheelchair and walking frame while at home with his wife and two daughters and has said that he will never be the same after his nerves were left stripped and damaged.

Remembering his early days in the hospital, the grandad said he was told to make a phone call to his loved ones as he was being taken down to the critical care unit as they didn’t know whether he was going to make it or not.

He said that he spoke to his wife and two daughters and said goodbye and that it was extremely terrifying.

He said that he was on a ventilator for months recovering, but even though he was the one lying in a hospital bed paralysed, his family went through more than he did.

Anthony was able to breathe on his own and was taken off the ventilator last October, but could only move his head.

He said there was a buzzer to call the nurses and he had to headbutt it because he couldn’t use his hands and that messes with your head because your brain is telling you to get out of bed but that your body can’t do that and it was all extremely frustrating.

He said that when he was moved to Hayward to start his physio, there was one stage where he just lost it and broke down in tears, so they kept him in a different room all night.

His current carer, Nicola, visited Anthony twice a day while he was in hospital before he returned home on May 17.

This man might have already had a pre-existing condition that was waiting to trigger but if the vaccines had been tested more thoroughly these kinds of things might not be happening.

There have been numerous conditions transpiring since people have had the jab, some saying that they’ve never felt right since or that they’ve now got conditions that they never ever had before, and it’s not right now that should be concerning but what the vaccine might have done to us in the long term, that we won’t know for some time yet. So, if in a few years’ time you start losing the hair on your skin and only like coming out at night, you’ll know why!

An Infected Henna Tattoo Left A Weeping Wound On A Kid’s Arm

A ten-year-old boy was left with a weeping wound on his arm after his black henna tattoo became infected.

Lynne Humprey’s son suffered chemical burns after his mother bought him a dragon tattoo when they were on holiday in Turkey, but twelve days later when it became lumpy and painful, the mother of two removed it hoping he’d got away somewhat unharmed with just a light mark.

However, Caden had an allergic reaction to the black henna, which became infected and caused his skin to break and ooze yellow fluid, with blisters even fanning to his torso and even up to his chin.

His mother even feared Caden would contract sepsis but after three trips to the doctor, a course of antibiotics and two days off school he’s much better.

She said that she’s now keen to raise awareness of the extreme reactions that the temporary body art can cause and she didn’t want any other child to endure the same experience.

Images captured by Lynne reveal the outline of the tattoo after she removed the henna and then it became increasingly red, sore and raised.

Photos show how his skin became scabby and cracked as a mottled rash spanned up his body, leaving a red scar in the same pattern even after it healed.

Lynne, of Anglesey, North Wales, said that a lot of her friends were going on holiday and that’s why she posted it.

She said that they do them in Turkey, Egypt, everywhere, and that when she Googled them after they got home because of her son’s reaction to the tattoo, it wasn’t until then that she discovered how bad these reactions were, and that had she known there was no chance that she would have let her son have one done, and that she just wanted to make sure no other child gets one done.

She said that even though two of the party had no side effects whatsoever, the next time they go back they would never be permitted to have one done, just in case.

She said it says to have a skin test done but even if they’d had one done, it wouldn’t have shown up until they got home because it took days for it to come out, and she said for her personally, she wouldn’t want to take that chance again.

Year after year children get scarred by henna tattoos. Babies that drown in the bath because they were left alone. Toddlers are strangled by looped blind cords et cetera, but every time parents have never heard about it happening before.

The saying goes that one wasn’t born yesterday, but with some people, it does make you wonder where they’ve been all their lives.

My Girlfriend Might Be My Sister, I Just Found Out

After two years of courtship, a couple claims to be facing an extremely awkward situation.

TikTok users Carley and Mercedes have taken to the video-sharing platform to convey their potential problems and ask for some advice from their followers.

In a clip which has been viewed over eight million times to date the girlfriends from Canada share how they just found out their mothers both slept with the same guy.

They then asked their followers if they should take a DNA test to find out if they’re really half-siblings.

They said that the DNA test was on its way, but it’s unclear if the couple is being serious or simply pranking their followers, but they kept the story up in several other videos.

In another, they asked if they should continue their relationship if they were in fact half-sisters, noting that if they are really related, was it immoral to remain together?

Their account has over 616,000 followers and numerous people shared their shock in the comments, with some revealing they believed the two did look somewhat alike.

One person said that they always felt they looked alike.

Another responded that they had no idea who the girls were and instantly assumed they were sisters before reading the text.

A third wrote that they’d just watched a few of their videos and said that they should get the tests done asap and that they were genuinely afraid for them both.

Someone else said that they looked like twins.

Of course, this could be a practical joke, or not! But I would seriously be shocked if they weren’t related, but then, on the other hand, some people are drawn to other people that look like them, possibly because it makes them feel safer or that whom they might have more affinity with.

Asda Customers Are Asking Staff To Stop Scanning Food Mid-Checkout

ASDA customers have been forced to request staff to stop scanning their food mid-checkout as they reach their spending limit.

The supermarket’s boss has made a painful admission about the demands and says that the same thing is happening with petrol.

New records reveal that supermarket costs have hit a 13-year high, resulting in customers struggling more and more to afford what they want and need.

ASDA’s chairman has said that numerous people are being forced to ask staff to stop scanning mid-checkout when they hit a specific price limit.

A newspaper outlet said that some people are also heading to self-checkouts to evade the embarrassment of not being able to pay.

Talking to the BBC, Lord Stuart Rose described a tremendous shift in customers’ behaviour and called on the Government to do more to support low-income households.

He said that people are trading back and that they were apprehensive about spending.

He said that they’ve got a limit that they’ve set out, too. They said £30 is one limit, and that if they get to more than £30 then that’s it, they stop, and that it was the same with petrol.

He added that many people won’t recall the inflation of the 1970s and the current peak in costs has come as a surprise to many.

He added that he was of the epoch that remembers what it was like last time, and that once inflation gets a grip, it’s quite destructive.

According to new figures, Britons are set to see their annual grocery bills jump by £380 this year as food price inflation hits a new 13-year high.

The latest data from Kantar has shown that grocery price inflation vaulted to 8.3 per cent over the four weeks to June 12, up from 7 per cent in May and its most elevated level since April 2009.

Kantar said that the lofty increases in the price of food and groceries mean that the average annual shopping tab is now anticipated to rise by £380 to £4,960 in 2022, up by more than another £100 since April alone.

According to the research, says LancsLive, customers were increasingly switching branded items for more affordable own-label products as they look to manage their budgets.

According to data firm Experian, the average cost of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts reached a new high of 189.3p on Tuesday.

Food and petrol have gone up so much that it’s time for action, no more waffling from the Government and our British government is so out of touch with what is really going on, but then they don’t have to stress about these things because they have too much money for their own good, and they’ve never known hardship in their lives.

Online shopping is of course great because people can then stick to a budget each month and then get a delivery, which would likely be more feasible at the moment, and many people have been getting rid of their cars because they could see what was coming.

This is going to be the very first of some extremely challenging times.
